Hello Guys, Ok what i am going to talk about has scared me quite a lot, I am a big fan of Yoville a facebook game and I was talking to a young person on there, and he said he was 10 and he then got on the subject of girls and the big S** word and I was like....noooo wayyyyy mannnn, at the age of 10 he was already talking about a girls thingy below and above and all sorts of other stuff, he said he gets it from his 19 yr old cousin.... He also stated he talks to his 5 yr old bro about it, i mean he is 10.....10!!! T E N I MEAN COME ON.......! He shud be out playing with his friends and i bed by 8pm at the latest!!

I just wanted to post it to u guys and hope that u will pray with me for the youth to stop being sex mad cos its kinda scary

Unfortunately, I don't think that's all that unusual these days :(

When so many parents allow their kids to watch whatever they want on TV, how do other parents then prevent their own children from hearing about it, or talking about it with their friends?

I don't think it's wrong for kids to know WHAT sex is. But to be talking about it like that, so graphically, that's just sad.

But like I said, not so uncommon anymore. I have a cousin who convinced her mother to let her get on birth control when she was 13 because she had been going out with a 16 year old for a while and was "ready".

Well i'll be praying with you bro. The problem is becoming bigger since it has become so 'normal' to include such even in Childrens cartoons/movies. We all need God to be our light otherwise we shall fall. God bless

Corruption is more and more prevalent, and society is more and more accepting of it. I was a bit surprised to hear "s**t" spoken on public TV a few months back. I think some cultures are less tolerant than others, but all in all, what we have here is a good [not so] ol' fashion culture crisis!

Its nothing new. 23 years ago i was 13 and lost my virginity. When i was 15 i met my best friend, also 15 (about 20 years ago).. he started drinking and getting high at 10 years old. by the time he was 15 he had fried his brain on pot and drinking, broke into houses, stole cars, tried to join a gang and a ton of other things he'd never tell me about. When i was about 14 i went to a party, the girl hosting the party (also 14) went upstairs with 2 guys at once.. you can figure out why. And i was not a wild guy, people around me were all doing a lot more things than i ever got into. And this was 20+ years ago.

Then I find it hard to believe you've assessed the situation fully, as athere ias far more at work than music. Music may further it, but music is the way it is, due to the producer and the consumer.

I blame only one thing, The Enemy.
He is working hard perversing little children's mind and saturating them with much violence, sex and hatred---through the internet, video games, music, movies and what they see in everyday life. We as christians, should work doubly hard, through God's grace and strength, to ensure that children (and everyone else) be reminded of whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.

I will see to it that my children are well sheltered.

By age 19 they will look back and swear the grew up in the 60's and 70's with the programs I'll have them watching. They will not receive cell phones until age 16. Dating will be strictly prohibited until age 17. Food will be distributed in proportion to amount of calories lost while doing household chores.

Upon their 21st birthdays they will be booted out of the house and forced to fend for themselves. :p

Amen!! That's what we should be reminded of, and try to teach that to the children nowadays. We have to be the salth of the earth :)
