Israel, the rod of the Lord

Jeremiah 51:20 Thou art my battle axe and weapons of war: for with thee will I break in pieces the nations, and with thee will I destroy kingdoms; 21 And with thee will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with thee will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider; 22 With thee also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with thee will I break in pieces old and young; and with thee will I break in pieces the young man and the maid; 23 I will also break in pieces with thee the shepherd and his flock; and with thee will I break in pieces the husbandman and his yoke of oxen; and with thee will I break in pieces captains and rulers.

Israel is the rod of the Lord. If they need to be corrected the Lord will do it. They are His people and if you presume to touch them without the Lord's approval you will be broken in pieces. Why does He include "the young man and the maid" in this list? Well you should think twice about dating a born again believer if you are not saved. What the world thinks is a joke, the Lord will take very seriously. The same goes with the shepherd and the flock. That could refer to an apostate pastor, it could also refer to teachers at a school with children who are saved. This is also true of your job and your boss.

24 And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, saith the Lord.

When you are saved and "evil" is done to you it is for a purpose. It could be that you were not listening to the Lord or obeying His word. Or it could be that God wants to manifest His glory and power. The bottom line is you need to pray and go to the Lord and find out why the evil happened to you, treat everything as having come from His hand. Then if someone did do you evil the Lord will deal with that as well after you have been adjusted or corrected.

25 Behold, I am against thee, O destroying mountain, saith the Lord, which destroyest all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon thee, and roll thee down from the rocks, and will make thee a burnt mountain.

This is the mountain that the Lord said "if you have faith as a grain of mustard you will say to this mountain to be taken up and cast into the sea and it will obey you." If you wanted to identify which nation is the "destroying mountain". You could probably list ten possible candidates. But of those which ones could possibly be a golden cup in the Lord's hands? Not Russia, not China, not Iran, at this point you would be left with two possible nations left, the UK and the US. That is the point, if you look at any one point concerning who Babylon is you could say "Vatican" or "Jerusalem" etc. But if you look at all of them then it can only refer to the USA.

26 And they shall not take of thee a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but thou shalt be desolate for ever, saith the Lord.

That is frightening, it sounds like Chernobyl. Hopefully this only refers to the cities of NYC and Washington DC.

The US becomes an astonishment and a hissing

Jeremiah 51:27 Set ye up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillers. 28 Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion. 29 And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the Lord shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.

Ancient Babylon was defeated by the Medes and replaced. by the Medo Persian empire. That foreshadows what is about to happen to "the Great Babylon", the USA. There will be a coalition of nations that attack the US, fill the nation with an army that makes the entire nation a desolation.

30 The mighty men of Babylon have forborn to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might hath failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwelling places; her bars are broken.

Righteous judgement is that "as you have done it will be done to you".

31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to shew the king of Babylon that his city is taken at one end, 32 And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.

Today the US has the mightiest army on earth. But our power is offensive, not defensive. You can't bomb your enemy into oblivion if they are in your land. If this army invades the US our Navy and our air force will be of limited benefit. My understanding is that it will be a surprise attack with ten suitcase nukes going off in ten US cities and the power grid of the US collapsing at the same time.

33 For thus saith the Lord of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.

Our navy and airforce are formidable, but there is little to no defense of the USA. It is like a big pile of loot just waiting for the taking. Estimates are if the power goes out 90% of Americans will die. If you have a tsunami on the East coast it would cause a massive displacement of people as 65% of Americans live within five miles of the ocean.

34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon hath devoured me, he hath crushed me, he hath made me an empty vessel, he hath swallowed me up like a dragon, he hath filled his belly with my delicates, he hath cast me out.

Think of all the refugees as a result of US military actions and military actions financed by the US. Now imagine that with what measure we have measured to others it is measured to us.

35 The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.

This applies to the Babylonian empire falling to the Medo Persian empire. But today the church is the Jerusalem which is above. It is not easy to see that the US has behaved violently towards God's people. It seems that the US is an ally to Israel and is also a Christian nation. But this is a deceit. The Lord knows the truth that is hidden.

36 Therefore thus saith the Lord; Behold, I will plead thy cause, and take vengeance for thee; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry. 37 And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwellingplace for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.

Let's be real, if the US were totally destroyed, no real government at all in the country, it would be astonishing. People don't hiss at people who have suffered a horrible tragedy. This only happens when someone was arrogant, like a "karen" getting her "karma". If the US had planned on doing something terrible to others and then this happens to them, then they would hiss. You can imagine that if Venezuela, and Iran and Russia and China are all involved, they would hiss. This war is against BRICS and their attempt to create a rival currency to replace the US dollar. We have tried to sink them, so if the US is sunk instead then the US would become a hissing among the BRICS nations.

In one of her dreams she was told that the plague of darkness that can be felt "comes on the light of the new moon". In this dream she explains that you divide the time period of the moon into quarters. The new moon to the first quarter is one quarter. The first quarter to the full moon is the second quarter. The full moon to the third quarter is the third quarter, and the third quarter to the new moon is the last quarter. These quarters are approximately one week long. Basically one week plus seven more hours. So then the entire week from the full moon to the third quarter is "the light of the full moon" and for something to "come on that light" doesn't necessarily mean that it starts one week later. What took place on the full moon was the assassination of Khameni and 46 other high ranking IRGC members which is a very close correlation to Hamen and the other conspirators being hung on the gallows they created. A day later all those clerics voting for a replacement of Khameni also were killed. I think it is safe to say that what we are seeing come on the light of the full moon is the fulfillment of the prophetic meaning of Purim. Esther was in the palace with the king and we are seeing a very influential movement on the leaders of the US and Israel to bring about this judgment on the IRGC.

We have also learned that the way they located these men was trackers were put in their mouths by dentists over the last 10+ years and Israel hacked the cameras on the streets to track the movement of all the IRGC leadership and all the Clerics. This proves that behind the scenes for over a decade this war has been in the works. So just like the Islamic coalition has had a plan in the works secretly to annihilate Israel, so also there have been those working behind the scenes to keep that from happening. You could compare Esther and Mordecai to the US and Israel.

The other thing we need to realize is there are two groups of Moslems. MBS in Saudi Arabia is Sunni while Khameni was Shi'a. He is helping to put down the Shi'a but only if there is a two state solution for Israel. Biblical prophecy also describes this two state solution as "dividing God's land", it is a red line that when this happens God divides the land of those that do this. Nelson Walters gave an incredible discussion on this topic showing that the last five solar eclipses all marked key steps towards this two state solution.

I realize some who are on the periphery of this discussion about the rapture are focused on "when" it will be. The reason for this is they want to see the rapture before they believe, just like doubting Thomas. As a result they are getting frustrated, tired, or offended. When Jesus first saw the disciples in the upper room after the resurrection doubting Thomas wasn't there. This is not unusual or surprising or contrary to the word of God.

But that is not my interest at all. My interest from the time I was 12 was to be able to see all these things that the Bible talks about and to experience them. I didn't want to be a song writer, I wanted the experiences that the songs would be written about.

This is what we are seeing. I got to see the prophecy of Joel take place during the Pandemic. I got to hear all the trumpet blasts announcing the coming of the King over the last few years. I got to see the Psalm 83 war. I got to see the Revelation 12 sign in the heavens and the Writing on the Wall sign. I got to see Elam's bow broken, and Jeremiah 49 take place in my lifetime. I got to see the Beast rising out of the sea and the great delusion taking shape. I got to see the Tares being gathered into bundles for the fire and the wheat being separated from the tares. I got to see foolish virgins who think they can simply borrow oil for their lamps and I also got to see wise virgins whose oil doesn't run out. I got to experience living waters from my innermost being flow out without stopping.

He mentions the jubilee year and how you are not able to harvest in the jubilee year according to the law.

Leviticus 25:1 And the Lord spake unto Moses in mount Sinai, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land which I give you, then shall the land keep a sabbath unto the Lord. 3 Six years thou shalt sow thy field, and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and gather in the fruit thereof; 4 But in the seventh year shall be a sabbath of rest unto the land, a sabbath for the Lord: thou shalt neither sow thy field, nor prune thy vineyard. 5 That which groweth of its own accord of thy harvest thou shalt not reap, neither gather the grapes of thy vine undressed: for it is a year of rest unto the land.

I started this blog six years ago in 2020 at the time of the pandemic. I began on another forum and had to move to this forum later, which is why the blog does not begin in 2020 here. I have posted every day and I am approaching 16,000 posts which works out to about 10 posts per day, every day. It has been a labor, but the sixth year is the last year that you can reap or sow. If the rapture takes place at the end of this year then it means those left behind cannot sow or reap for the year but will need to read the things others posted. The Lord will demand a year of reflection on why you were left behind. This also aligns with what the Lord said to the foolish virgins. Go and buy from those who sell oil and when they came back the door was locked. During this seventh year the "door is locked" for the rapture.

Now I am not counting the six years from my blog but rather from the Pandemic and "the day everything changed" which was Purim in 2020.

1 Corinthians 11:1 Be ye followers of me, even as I also am of Christ. 2 Now I praise you, brethren, that ye remember me in all things, and keep the ordinances, as I delivered them to you. 3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God. 4 Every man praying or prophesying, having his head covered, dishonoureth his head. 5 But every woman that prayeth or prophesieth with her head uncovered dishonoureth her head: for that is even all one as if she were shaven.

Right now the US is at war with Iran. It is possible that Iran has nuclear weapons and we know they have supersonic missiles that we cannot stop. Now some people in the US are taking us to war, notably Donald Trump and Pete Hegseth. They see an existential threat to the US from BRICS trying to replace the US dollar with a gold backed security and Trump has to make it impossible for them to buy oil with BRICS currency. This is why he has attacked Venezuela and now Iran.

Now at the same time there are many men and women who are calling out that we don't need to fight. They are actually telling soldiers to refuse to fight. That is a criminal offense which in previous wars would get a person killed by a firing squad.

If women want to rule the nation then they need to shave their head and distinguish themselves on the battlefield. One guy put it very clearly, I'm all for peace if the IRGC is also for peace. That is not an option. The choice is let the Islamic regime ruling Iran rule the US, or stand and fight. Those are the two choices.

But I am serious and so is Paul. All those women complaining about the patriarchy and saying they should lead the country, now is the time for them to step forward, shave their heads and join the marines. If you run away like a coward when the country needs you to defend it then you are a coward and dishonor the country.

Now some argue "hey, you are a Christian, why are you for war". I am not for war. I did not advise the US to go down the path they have been on since WW2. The US completely ignored the Bible, and the word of God and Christian leadership for the last fifty years. But now that they are about to face the day of judgment, now they want to blame Christians? I am simply stating a fact, if you run away at such a time as this, you are a coward.

I preached the gospel to thousands of people over the last fifty years. Some people repented and confessed they were a sinner that needed a savior. Most didn't. Most mocked, and scoffed and said that believing in a savior was a crutch for weak people, but they were strong. OK, now this is their chance to show us how strong they are and how they don't need a savior. The gospel of grace has an expiration date, it does not last forever. There is a day where that gospel comes to an end. Part of the gospel message is that there will be a day of judgement. Well, now that day of judgment has come. You have three options: you can repent and tell Jesus you need a savior, or you can run and hide like a coward and one day you will be pulled out of that hole you are hiding in like Saddam Hussein and then you will face your day of judgment, or you can stand and fight and face your day of judgment right now. I am not supporting the war, nor am I supporting the cowards. I am calling on people to repent for the gospel of the kingdom.

So again, if you were so strong to attack the patriarchy and demand that women lead this country, now is your chance, lead us as we go to war.

Praying concerning secret attacks of the enemy

Psalm 35:1 Plead my cause, O Lord, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.

When you get saved one of the benefits of our covenant with God is that He becomes our defense attorney, He will take up our case to plead our case with those who strive against us, He will take up our case with the accuser of the brethren who is slandering us. Not only so but the promise is that He will fight against them that fight against you. Now this is not Psalm 1, or 2, or 3, etc. Rather this is Psalm 35. There are a few things that must be done first. You must confess your sins and take Jesus Christ as your redeemer, put your faith in His blood and obey Him to be baptized. In addition He may direct you to reconcile with people, confess sins to people, get rid of accursed things that may be in your house and to take the Lord's table. The Lord's table renews your covenant with the Lord. In that covenant you are confessing that on a daily basis you are eating the word of God and you are pleading the blood of Jesus. This means when your conscience bothers you, don't make excuses, confess and repent. On a daily basis you need to be consuming the word of God, this is one way that the Lord speaks to you. I consider the word of God to be "the ground wire". Yes, the Holy Spirit can speak to you directly, but in order for that to happen your spirit must be grounded in the word of God.

2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.

Shield is that big shield and buckler is that small shield that covers your hand when you are wielding a sword.

3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am thy salvation.

Think of how wonderful this prayer is. Perhaps someone is starting the process for a lawsuit, but you can pray the Lord put a stop to it. Perhaps someone at work is beginning the process of making a case to fire you. Again, you can pray that the Lord put a stop to it. There are many ways to persecute you, but you can pray that the Lord stop their way. But it is better than that, the Lord can do this in a way that says "Jesus is your salvation". All these things can help build up your faith and appreciation of the Lord.

4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.

Did you know there are those who are seeking after your soul? Did you know there were those who were devising your hurt? Think about Moses, he was clueless about what was going on but the Egyptians were trying to kill him. Why? As a little child he might think "what have I done?" The same is true of Samuel and David. You may not be aware of what others are doing, but God is. He can confound them, He can put them to shame, He can bring all those who are devising how they can hurt you to confusion.

5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the Lord chase them.

This is even better. Chaff is what is left over after you harvest the wheat. It is light and blows in the wind like dust in the wind. These people who were trying to hurt you or destroy you, they become trivial, like dust in the wind, and they run away with an angel of the Lord chasing them. They can become paranoid, they can realize the light is on them, people have found out their little secret, etc.

6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the Lord persecute them.

All judgment from God is righteous, and the definition of righteous judgement is "with what measure you measure it will be measured to you". They wanted to make your way dark and slippery, so then it is righteous for God to give exactly what they wanted to do to you, to them. They wanted to persecute you, so it is righteous that God assigns an angel to persecute them.

7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have digged for my soul.

This is the proof. First, he is saying that it is righteous for God to do this because this is what they were trying to do to him. But also, the term "without cause" is very important. When someone does attack and you discover that you are under attack you have to examine yourself if there is any cause. If they persecute you without a cause that is what they did to the prophets, there is a reward in that. But if there is a cause, if you broke the law and now you are paying the price for your actions, that is very different. This prayer is not for someone who is on trial for a crime they did commit. If that is the case you are to confess, repent, plead the blood and obey the Lord as to what He tells you to do concerning it.

8 Let destruction come upon him at unawares; and let his net that he hath hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.

He had dug a hole for a net, hoping you would walk into his trap. So then the righteous judgement of God is that he falls into the very same trap he was laying for you. The same destruction he was plotting for you, let that fall on him.

9 And my soul shall be joyful in the Lord: it shall rejoice in his salvation.

And when you are saved, rejoice in the Lord. Give the Lord praise and thanksgiving.

How long will you put up with this before you do something?

Psalm 35:10 All my bones shall say, Lord, who is like unto thee, which deliverest the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoileth him?

This is who God is, this is who the Lord Jesus is. It doesn't matter if we are poor and needy. All the better. One person once described it this way. He was in the petrified forest, he knew the logs and trees were petrified wood. But they looked so real that when he saw a small branch on the path he kicked it and just about broke his toe. For this to happen you have to have been transformed, reconstituted with the word of God. You will still look poor and needy, but in reality you are a child of the king. In this way, by using you as "bait" God exposes these bullies who are abusing the poor and needy and punishes them. As a result you have become a defender of the poor and needy.

11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not. 12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.

This is a special kind of attack. You did good and yet this person rewards you evil for the good you did? Suppose a woman is about to lose her house to the bankers but you help her. You show her how she can avoid losing the house and help her get out of bankruptcy. You did good right? Yes, but that banker is not all that happy, he saw he was about to get a house for next to nothing and you plucked it out of his mouth. Once the enemy learns he can't touch you without suffering loss he will move on. But now the Lord is using you to rescue others. It is one thing that you have a hedge of protection from God around you, but now you are gathering others into that hedge of protection. So of course Satan is not going to "reward" you. He will reward you evil for good.

13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.

You prayed for them, you humbled yourself, you sought for the salvation of others. Some received it, but most didn't.

14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourneth for his mother. 15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the abjects gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not: 16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.

We are praying for the kingdom of the heavens to come to earth. There is a spiritual war going on and in this war there are spies. A spy could be in your family, could be in the church, a coworker, a neighbor, anyone. They will appear to be your friend. But then they rejoice when you are mourning. That is how God exposes them. They are hypocrites. Ultimately they will gnash upon you with their teeth. For example there are people who will "befriend" you and seem to be very concerned about you. But what they really are concerned with is how they can manipulate you. I have received a lot of "advice" concerning this blog that attempts to either shut it down or steer it in another direction. If you are careful you can detect the hypocrisy as they rejoice when you are mourning. They pounce the minute they detect anything that looks like a misstep. But when they realize you are ignoring their advise, then they gnash at you with their teeth.

17 Lord, how long wilt thou look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.

Why is the Lord "looking on" and not doing something? Turn the question around, why are you looking on and not bringing this to the Lord? When you see "lions" devouring some poor person do you think "thank God that wasn't me"? Or do you pray to the Lord concerning those lions that their teeth would be broken and they could no longer abuse the poor and needy? A lot of Christians see these lions and think "can't we all just get along" and try to placate them. You can't do that because just like the hyenas turned on Scar, they will one day turn on you. Whenever you find yourself saying "why doesn't God do something" turn that around and realize God is looking at you and asking "how long will you put up with this before you do something?"

Deceiving they are deceived

Psalm 35:18 I will give thee thanks in the great congregation: I will praise thee among much people.

They are operating in the shadows, in the dark, secretly devising their plans. You have to be in the light, you need to be making a public confession of thanks to the Lord's people. This should always be your attitude. People want to take vengeance, on the contrary we should always be walking with the attitude of what we are doing is going to be shared as a thanksgiving offering in the great congregation. No one wants to hear how you "got even". Rather we want to hear the great things that God has done for you. We want to hear your praise and thanksgiving to God.

19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.

Once again, note the words "wrongfully" and "without a cause". If you did something to them and it blew up in your face, they are not "wrongfully rejoicing". That is on you. If you have given people a cause to hate you then, you are in the wrong Psalm, you should go to Psalm 51.

20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.

Have you ever seen someone who blames everyone else for the things that happen to them? If you tell me that everyone was against you and that is why you had to leave your last job, well maybe that is true. But if this is now the third job you have had to leave and in every instance "everyone is against you". Well then, I would respectfully suggest that you examine yourself. The Bible says that those who deceive others wind up deceiving themselves. If you get to the point where it seems you are fighting against everyone, then you have deceived yourself. You are not one of those who are living quiet in the land. The reason everyone is against you is because you do not speak peace. Instead you are a gossip, you love to say nasty things about others. Right now we are witnessing 12 or perhaps even 14 nations fighting against Iran. Why? Well they loved to call the US the "Great Satan" and Israel the "Little Satan". They loved to talk about wiping them off the map. And to maintain "peace" with others they had to threaten them. It is no wonder that countries like the US and Israel would feel they have to go to war with someone threatening to nuke them. But then Iran fired missiles at all their neighbors. They were trying to back up the threats they had issued previously. Right now "everyone is against them" and why? They never spoke peace, they were deceitful in their treaties, and now they are thrashing about like a wild person fighting against everyone.

21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye hath seen it.

So then what happens, they are desperately trying to pin some sin on others. For example, claiming that the US and Israel are targeting civilians. Why? Take a look at Iran, every missile they fire is targeting civilians. They are being accused of crimes against humanity so they are desperate to say that everyone else is doing the same thing they are. They have been exposed as being one with Satan, now their only defense is that everyone is one with Satan. He is the accuser of the brethren, he is a liar, a thief and a murderer. It is essential that you are not one with him, rather you are one with the Lord Jesus. You are not a liar, you speak the truth even if it means you must confess that you have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. You are not a thief, if you have to you will fast and go without. You are not a gossip, you are not an accuser of the brethren and unlike Satan who is a murderer, you are like the good Samaritan helping those beaten and bruised by Satan to recuperate.

Unbelief is the problem

Psalm 35:22 This thou hast seen, O Lord: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

The Lord is watching all that is going on and sees all. So ask yourself, the Lord is with me, He sees what is going on, why is He silent? I want the Lord to speak up, He wants me to speak up. The Lord wants you to be a participant, not a spectator. This is why I enjoy the posts from Vicki Goforth Parnell. Her speaking is from her experience as a prayer warrior. She prays, the Lord responds.

23 Stir up thyself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.

The fundamental prayer is "thy will be done" referring to the Lord's will. If your cause is the Lord's cause. If you are led by the Lord to be one with Him and to be a coworker with Him then your cause is one with the Lord's cause. And if your judgement is one with the Lord's judgment. That is what it means when two or three on earth agree on anything and pray to the Lord. If you have consecrated all that you are and all that you have to the Lord, then the things that concern you concern the Lord Jesus. The problem is that many Christians do not want to do that. They want the promises, they want the protection, they want God to be for them, but when it comes to them being for the Lord, well that is more of a half hearted support.

24 Judge me, O Lord my God, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.

What a wonderful verse. Instead of praying that the Lord would judge them, he is now praying that the Lord would judge him. In other words take everything that happens to you as coming directly from the Lord. Instead of Satan accusing you of being at fault take that as the Lord telling you that you have a fault and you need to examine yourself first. Only once you have thoroughly dealt with your faults would you want to bring in the spotlight of God's examining you and judging you. You pray for God to bring in the spotlight. He shows you things that are not right, things that are not perfect, and you deal with them, you correct them. Then when you show up to the battle the enemy thinks he has you and will rejoice over you because he spotted this weakness. But the Lord has already led you to see that and correct it.

I had this experience in college. Our final project for our Spanish class was to give a five minute talk on one of three or four possible subjects. I came to school and was outside the class a few minutes before it started and I heard this other student say to someone else "I wonder how he is going to turn this question to talk about the Lord?" As soon as I heard that I realized that would be the question the teacher would ask me. The question was to talk about how you got to class that morning. It was definitely the one question I had realized I would have the hardest time to turn to the gospel. But that heads up helped me tremendously as I told a story about running to the bus and praying to the Lord and thanking Him for helping me to make it to school on time.

25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.

I have many experiences of the Lord snatching me from the fire, just when you think you are surely lost He comes up with a buzzer beater to seal the victory.

26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.

Do you remember the "Jordan rules". Teams devised game plans to hurt and clothe this player with shame and dishonor and the Lord led him to overcome that. For a few years the "bad boy" Pistons defeated him only for him to continue working and improving until he was able to overcome. There is a story of how Isaiah Thomas came up with a plan to "shut him out" during the all star game and then years later it was righteous judgment that Isaiah Thomas was shut out of the dream team.

27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.

Learn the lesson, "vengeance is mine, saith the Lord". It isn't ours. We don't think on that, we pray for our enemies. We do good to those who persecute us. We rejoice when we suffer for the name of Christ.

28 And my tongue shall speak of thy righteousness and of thy praise all the day long.

You can see what is in a persons heart by what comes out of their mouth. If you are hiding hate in your heart then you will have to be "discreet" and "careful" about what you say and ultimately when the light shines on your hate you will be thrashing about the way Iran is thrashing about now. If you are not speaking of the Lord's righteousness and praise all the day long it indicates a lack of faith and trust in the Lord. That unbelief is the problem. A lack of revelation of how great Jesus Christ is, that is the problem.

Psalm 109:1 Hold not thy peace, O God of my praise; 2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

Lord Jesus, meet them pound for pound, with the same measure that they are measuring out to your saints may you in return speak words of light and truth that exposes the lying tongue and causes the darkness to flee.

3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause. 4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer. 5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.

Lord Jesus they are using AI and bots to compass us about and fight against us without a cause.

6 Set thou a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.

Since they reject You as Lord, set over them a wicked man to rule them. Since they don't want the Lord of Peace to rule over them, set the prince of darkness, the son of perdition over them, so they can see the contrast and repent.

7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.

Lord Jesus you said we would be judged for every word we speak, and so we pray that these words that are being spoken would lead to both judgment and condemnation. They are not praying according to Your will, rather their prayers are rebellion against the Lord of heaven and earth.

8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.

So Lord, for all the false prophets that follow in the path that Judas took in betraying you for a few pieces of silver, may their days be few and may they be replaced by faithful brothers and sisters.

9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.

Lord we pray their would be none to follow after the false prophets to take up their ministry.

10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.

We pray that those in the apostasy that have rebelled against you and your word would be desolate during the tribulation, may they be brought exceedingly low so that they can be humbled and repent.

11 Let the extortioner catch all that he hath; and let the strangers spoil his labour.

May those who swallowed up widows houses and took spoil of the fatherless, may they reap what they have sowed.

12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.

We pray you would visit the sins of the father on the second and third generation according to your word.

13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.

May the heavens be iron and the earth brass to them.

14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the Lord; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.

Lord they have sinned against you, and against your church. They have harmed the new born believers. They have caused many to turn back and become backsliders. We pray you would remember and deal with them according to righteousness and according to your desire that all men would come to the full knowledge of the truth.

15 Let them be before the Lord continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.

Lord we remember You, we remember your apostles, we remember your servants, but let the memory of the false prophets and those that have rebelled against you be cut off from the earth.

16 Because that he remembered not to shew mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart. 17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him. 18 As he clothed himself with cursing like as with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones. 19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covereth him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually. 20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the Lord, and of them that speak evil against my soul.

Lord Jesus You said we must give account of every idle word that we have spoken.

21 But do thou for me, O God the Lord, for thy name's sake: because thy mercy is good, deliver thou me.

And Lord we repent, and confess that we are sinners, we have fallen short of the glory of God, we have murmured, we have complained, and so we pray forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. Lord Jesus we forgive all those who complained about us, who murmured against us, and we pray forgive us if we have failed to show mercy to the poor and needy.

22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me. 23 I am gone like the shadow when it declineth: I am tossed up and down as the locust. 24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh faileth of fatness. 25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shaked their heads. 26 Help me, O Lord my God: O save me according to thy mercy: 27 That they may know that this is thy hand; that thou, Lord, hast done it.

It is not of us but of You Lord. All glory belongs to You. May they know that but for the grace of God I too would have gone into the pit. May they see and declare what the Lord has done.

28 Let them curse, but bless thou: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let thy servant rejoice.

Lord, may they see we go through the same trials and tribulations, the unbelievers come out cursing and the believers come out rejoicing.

29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.

Lord they mocked and ridiculed your believers, saying that we were weak for needing a savior and that our faith was a crutch. May they now be clothed with shame. May they be covered with their own confusion as with a heavy coat.

30 I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.

But in the same trial may I and all your believers praise You with our mouth and praise You among the multitude of your believers. Because You are faithful and true. What You say You will do, You do.

31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

May everyone see Jesus Christ, the Savior of the world and may they see that we, your believers are standing at your right hand.

1 Corinthians 12:1 Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant. 2 Ye know that ye were Gentiles, carried away unto these dumb idols, even as ye were led.

In the world they want you ignorant and they want you dumb. They train you in public school to take orders. They give you idols, something to worship, something to give your life to. But in reality they are putting you into slavery. A slave does what he is told. An owner of a business has to be the one giving the orders. Think of your Christian life as being given a plot of land that you must do something with. If you are diligent to follow the Lord and be one with Him in developing this plot of land then you will be successful.

3 Wherefore I give you to understand, that no man speaking by the Spirit of God calleth Jesus accursed: and that no man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

This is the clear dividing line between the world and the believers. Why did they prohibit the Bible from school? Bottom line they would not have forbidden the use of the Bible if they were not implying it was accursed. Those who take issue with this are doing so because they are saying Jesus is Lord. Either you get your marching orders from the world or from the Lord Jesus. Who you get your orders from lets us know whether you believe Jesus is Lord or Jesus is accursed. Jesus is giving you the orders that you are to be a witness for Him. A witness must in one way or another speak. You cannot be a "dumb" witness.

4 Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.

I think the NFL is the perfect illustration of this. Dan Marino is said to have had the most gifted throwing skill. Randy Moss had an incredible gift of both height and speed. Reggie White was an incredible talent on the defensive line. Reggie White could not do what Randy Moss did or what Dan Marino did. In fact none of them could do what the others did. There are different gifts, but they work together on the same team. To accomplish the same goal.

5 And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.

For example the NFL has coaches. Their are coaches that coach the offense and others who coach the defense and still others who coach special teams. Not only so, there are coaches for the offensive line, the defensive line, the receivers, the quarterback, etc. One guy explained that when Tampa Bay went to the Super Bowl the coaches had a meeting telling them what the defense would be when they got to the game. Then Tom Brady, the quarterback had his own meeting, because he also had an administration, and he told them they wouldn't use that defense they would do something different. Brady was right. He had been studying defenses against him for the last 25 years. You look to managers to give you directions and leadership.

6 And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.

Again, the NFL is a good example. The offense is a very different operation than the defense. Special teams is different from both of these.

For example I liken prayer warriors to those on the offensive line or the defensive line. They can be praying to bring down the enemy or they can be praying to build up the church. I see evangelists are those with quick reflexes. They can be responding to attacks from the enemy or leading new ones to the Lord. Some can run with the ball or throw the ball to others to catch. We have different gifts but the same gift can have different operations. Paul talked about the defense and confirmation of the gospel. Pastors have an administration, ministry leaders have an administration, teachers have an administration. Someone can be in charge of the children's work, someone else can be in charge of marriage counseling, someone else can be in charge of the worship. But in every case God must be working in each of these ones. In every case they must be under the headship of the Lord. In every case they must be ministering the same Spirit of life and peace.

What do you think? Even odds or a trillion to one?

I heard someone say "they have been saying it is the end of the world for a very long time and at some point they will be right". This immediately conjures up visions of some guy in a sandwich board saying "It's the end of the world" or one of these false prophets like Jim Jones or David Koresh.

However, that is not what most people who teach the Bible have been saying. Since the time of Jesus, when He gave us Matthew 24, or the time of Paul or the time of John we have been saying that the end of the age is like a woman in travail to give birth. Now from the moment this woman is pregnant you would hope the parents would educate themselves on what is going to happen at the time of the birth and how to identify when it is time.

For example, in the 1980s people would mock us when we preached the gospel and talked about the end of the age. It seemed absurd that "the mark of the beast" would be able to control what every person on earth was able to buy or sell. At that time there was no mechanism we knew of that could do that. Prior to 1948 people mocked the idea that Israel would be restored, no one could imagine that happening. If Israel could not be restored what do you do with Psalm 83, Jeremiah 49 and Ezekiel 38 and 39? Prior to nuclear weapons no one could imagine the destruction described in the book of Revelation and explained it away as figurative speech.

So then, the end of the age is an essential part of the gospel. Everyone needs to know that a day of judgment is coming, whether you die first or not. Second, no one, and I literally mean no one, has ever been talking about the end of the world prior to today in which they can read everything in the Bible concerning the end of the age as being literal. 88 reasons for the rapture in 1988 did not include a peace plan for Israel that divides the land, it did not include the bow of Elam having been broken, Gaza turned into chaff in the wind, or the Pavilions of the Antichrist being built in Gaza. It did not include the tabernacle of David having already been raised in Shiloh in July of 2025 when the Red Heifer was sacrificed by a genuine priesthood. It did not include Starlink, RFID chips, Quantum computers and a digital currency ready to be implemented worldwide.

The real deception in that person saying they have been talking about it forever so odds are at some point they will finally be right is a huge lie. The odds that all of these things prophesied in the Bible would all come true at the exact same time, all pointing to the start of a seven year tribulation, no, the odds of that are much greater than a trillion to one.

1 Corinthians 12:31 But covet earnestly the best gifts: and yet shew I unto you a more excellent way.

The best gifts minister faith, hope and love. The best gifts build up the church, not the person with the gift.

For example, the most dominant basketball player, without any question, was Wilt Chamberlain. He had ridiculous stats. But he didn't build up his teammates and as a result, more often than not when they got to the championship they lost.

Contrast that with someone like MJ, Brady, or Montana. These guys were not as dominant as Chamberlain, but they had the best gift because they made everyone around them better and so when they go to the championship they were almost a lock to win. MJ and Montana never lost, but they also never won seven which is why Brady is also on that list.

Paul tells us that speaking in tongues builds up the person with the gift while prophesy builds up the church. Speaking words of God into the believers to help them grow in grace, that is how you build up the church. Praying for people so they can see God working in their lives and in the church, that is how you build up the church.
