When the Gate Closes: What the Bible Reveals About Today’s Crisis

Some more recent analysis and commentary from the mind of a General. Keane is right in the sense of ending our proposed phase 2 swiftly, no need to play with the key heads of the cult's remnants for a deal, wipe them, and prepare for phase 3 of Pahlavi's return and tour and attempt to form a transitional government. The end is coming in sight, Iran will be free, be bold and ecisive, praise Jesus.

Iran has been sanctioned by various international bodies and countries—primarily the United States, the United Nations, and the European Union—for several key reasons related to its foreign policy, military programs, and internal governance. [1, 2, 3]

Core Reasons for Sanctions

  • Nuclear Weapons Program: The most comprehensive sanctions were imposed to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons capabilities. The U.N. Security Council and Western nations have targeted Iran's uranium enrichment and reprocessing activities, fearing they lack a credible civilian justification.
  • State Sponsorship of Terrorism: The U.S. Department of State has designated Iran as a state sponsor of terrorism since 1984. Sanctions target its financial and material support for groups like Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.
  • Ballistic Missile Development: Sanctions aim to curb Iran's development and proliferation of ballistic missiles and drones, which are seen as a threat to regional stability.
  • Human Rights Abuses: Recent waves of sanctions, including from the EU and Canada, respond to the Iranian government's "brutal crackdown" on peaceful protesters, particularly following the death of Mahsa Amini in 2022 and subsequent massacres in 2026.
  • Support for Russia's War in Ukraine: The EU and other nations have sanctioned Iran for providing military equipment, specifically Shahed drones, to Russia for use in its invasion of Ukraine. [1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10]

Historical Context

  • 1979 Hostage Crisis: The first U.S. sanctions were imposed in November 1979 after radical students seized the American Embassy in Tehran and took 52 hostages.
  • 2015 Nuclear Deal (JCPOA): Many international sanctions were lifted in 2016 after Iran agreed to limit its nuclear activities.
  • "Maximum Pressure" Campaign: In 2018, the Trump administration withdrew from the JCPOA and reinstated strict economic sanctions to force a change in Iran's regional policies.
  • 2025 Snapback: In August 2025, European parties (E3) triggered a "snapback" mechanism due to Iranian non-compliance, leading to the reimposition of previously terminated UN sanctions. [1, 2, 4, 7, 10]

A problem is without the intervention, we will eventually get invaded by someone. They have been doing the intervention to protect America.

We are His new creation, first the natural and then the spiritual.
Deut 32, the song of Moses tells of Israel's end and destruction, which was completed in 70AD.
All the covenant curses from Deut 28 were fully meted out on that unfaithful harlot, Israel.
Josephus confirms for us all the horrific details.
Here you go.
Yes, this does not fit into your eschatology (whatever it may be), but it will surely come to pass regardless.
And YES it fits PERFECTLY into that eschatological framework which I have many times provided to you.

And tell me (if you can), what does Lots wife have to do with all of this? Verses 32 and 33 pretty much destroys the common but erroneous view.

And NO, none of this happened in 70AD, 132AD, or any other time in the CHURCH AGE.
Furthermore, NONE of this pertains to the Church or Church age either.

Luk 17:24
For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day. (the DOTL so noted by the prophets).

Luk 17:25
But first must he suffer many things, and be rejected of this generation. (but received in one later)

Luk 17:26
And as it was in the days of Noe, so shall it be also in the days of the Son of man.

Luk 17:27
They did eat, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark, and the flood came, and destroyed them all.

Luk 17:28
Likewise also as it was in the days of Lot; they did eat, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they builded;

Luk 17:29
But the same day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and brimstone from heaven, and destroyed them all.

Luk 17:30
Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Luk 17:32
Remember Lot's wife.

Luk 17:33
Whosoever shall seek to save his life shall lose it; and whosoever shall lose his life shall preserve it.

47 years of sanctions
They never would have been necessary if the Iranians would simply be decent citizens of the world community.
But nope.....rather they support Hezbollah and all types of proxy goon squads, endlessly plot and scheme to destroy Israel, threaten America and take hostages and all manner of insults and antagonisms.

Ceaselessly, endlessly, without conscience reason or restraint.
