It is impossible to rebuild the temple, it would be a building nothing more.
It can never be holy, the veil was torn.
You also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through.
1 Peter 2:5
This is a bit dramatized but I found it interesting, maybe God will make it another EPIC FAIL!!!
- - - >Emperor Julian (the Apostate) pushed to rebuild the Jewish Temple on the Temple Mount to undermine Christian prophecy (Jesus' words that no stone would remain upon another after its 70 AD destruction).
He funded it, let Jews return to Jerusalem, and appointed Alypius of Antioch to oversee the work. As soon as foundations were cleared and laid, catastrophe struck: contemporary accounts describe a violent earthquake shaking the site, scattering stones and materials. Then terrifying balls of fire erupted from the ground (or foundations), bursting forth repeatedly, scorching and burning workers, making the area impossible to approach.
(Pagan historian Ammianus Marcellinus reported "horrible balls of fire... rendering the place inaccessible to the scorched and blasted workmen." Christian writers like Gregory of Nazianzus added flames issuing forth, consuming some like Sodom's fate.)
The project collapsed in days. Workers fled, the site was abandoned, and Julian's death soon after in Persia ensured it was never resumed.
