You know, you guys have been preaching that there's no mentioned of "church" since Rev. 4, that seems like blatant falsehood, because not only are God's people mentioned multiple times in various ways, even in Rev. 2 there is a church under brutal persecution, aren't they not the Body of Christ? God's wrath is reserved for "those who dwell on the earth" who worship the Beast and take his mark, not his own people.
Huh?

Your doctrine claims all wicked are swept away and the righteous go through the flood.

Which is it?

Who is swept away?

How do we know they are post-trib? Neither you or anybody can prove a "zeroth" pre-trib mass, permanent resurrection, before the FIRST resurrection in Rev. 20:5, because there is none.
Where is your postrib rapture in Rev 20?

You saying the rapture is after Rev 14:14?

The dead rise after the living are gathered?

So now, you have proved what?
Remember your insistence that firstfruits was the 144,000 ?
Then you got schooled on WHO THE FIRSTFRUIST OF THE RESURRECTION IS?

So now you are throwing a tantrum instead of actually connecting firstfruits to main harvest.?

What does your "sheaf component" do to erase the simple fact that the Bible says Jesus is the firstfruits?

No tantrum please.
Just stay on track.
For sure Yeshua was the first fruit of the resurrection

You really do not realize that in Rev. 14:14 "the One sat on the cloud" remained sitting on the cloud, not "coming" until Rev. 19?
Read who is gathered.
Are they gathered after firstfruits?
Who, in Rev 14 are firstfruits.?

Connect the dots honestly.

There are several reasons why Passover is important.

In Exodus 12: 42 It was a night of watching by the Lord, to bring them out of the land of Egypt; so this same night is a night of watching kept to the Lord by all the people of Israel throughout their generations. This day was Passover

A previous resurrection on Passover weekend doesn't deny a second coming at same time

Night the Lord was arrested he kept coming back waking up his disciples---yes, night of Passover

I'm not saying it would deny the Lord's coming on Passover. Only that very many people do expect it then and Jesus made a point of saying, I'll come when you least expect it. Any day in fact. That's all I was saying.

just can't be any day for the Lord has a plan.

42Watch therefore, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43But know this, that if the householder had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have watched and would not have let his house be broken into. 44Therefore you also must be ready; for the Son of man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

17The Lord said, “Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

This was in the days of Lot

28 Likewise as it was in the days of Lot—they ate, they drank, they bought, they sold, they planted, they built, 29 but on the day when Lot went out from Sodom fire and sulphur rained from heaven and destroyed them all— 30 so will it be on the day when the Son of man is revealed.

The Lord is coming for us soon

Accepting that disturbing things can and will happen is entirely different from gleefully hoping for it. Especially since the scenario you are hoping for is not even in the Bible.

Of course I do 🙄. If I thought you were capable of good-faith iron-sharpening I'd be happy to go over some verses with you, but sadly I do not see that happening. Have a good day! 😊.
..and you made a huge misalignment on me personally.
Sad, that you stoop to going personal.

If you are a postribber, and all offended, by scripture, then yes, any engagement of verses would be like walking on eggshells.

What verses offended you, Mr superior?

Ok can you explain, if the Body of Christ will not receive God's wrath, why do post-tribbers think the BoC will be here during the GreatTrib? I can't get an answer and I'll like to understand the reasoning behind this thinking, ty.

IF the Body of Christ is here during God's wrath/the GT is He punishing us along with the wicked?
Not to start anything "What Wrath"? You react as most react, thinking humanly
God does not need to punish anyone. God desires to disciple (teach the willing ones) all that choose to be willing. So are you willing between Father, Son and you? I trust God to reach everyone in Daddy's Spirit and Truth to decide. That be all that got left after the reconciliation took away all sin first by Son for all, It is finished? John 19:30. Leaving each to decide for themselves to believe God or not. the fallen angels are watching the reactions.
The Jail help where Paul was Jailed watched. All they saw was Paul continued to rejoice even though bound. The same as Saul before Paul saw Stephan do before that road t Damascus.
The Jail help decided to believe God loves us all. I know I have and see this fact, thanks

Refer to Rev 16, that wrath of God. So what say you, do you think the Body of Christ will be here during that? Could I simply get a 'yes' or 'no' ?

Hi faithlife, I'm not really a "tribber" of any sort. I mean, of course I believe in the great tribulation, rapture, Christ's return, etc. But I don't spend a lot of time studying exactly how it will go down. I love what @Edify said, how they are watching for whenever it happens and want to be ready either way. Anyways.....

I do see the tribulation as being different from the wrath of God. Tribulation is brought forth by the antichrist forces, the spirit of which has been around for centuries. It hates us because it hates Jesus, and it was responsible for a lot of the persecution of the early church. It is responsible for a lot of tribulation and persecution happening right now in other areas of the planet; for many of our brothers and sisters the thought of tribulation isn't some distant concept because they deal with it daily. So.... I do not think we are ever promised to be spared from tribulation.

However, the wrath of God is different from tribulation caused by the spirit of Antichrist. If you read Revelation 9: 3-4, you see the human-headed locust-y things show up. But notice that they are not to hurt anyone with the seal of God on their foreheads. I have no idea what the seal is or how it gets there, but obviously God made provision to protect His own.

Provision does not mean we won't go through some nasty stuff. But it does mean that Jesus will be with us every step of the way. 💜

Hi psalm, I'm not a postribber, I'm not offended by scripture, I'm not superior, and I'm not a Mister.

You're 0 for 4, might want to stop swingin' 😜.

Seriously though, I'm not big on trib. I believe in it of course, but it's not something I'd go to the mat over unless I really thought the other person was willing to have a good-faith discussion. It's clear from your posts that you are not into that, which is fine. But it's also fine that I don't want to waste my time watching your face turn purple. I'm sure you understand 🙂.

Really, I only posted here because I saw a post-tribber acting inappropriately. And then I saw a pretribber (😉) do something similar, so I posted at them too (because I like to be fair, you are welcome 😎).

And then I saw @faithlife ask an honest question, so I answered it because she is a sweet lady bearing the fruit of the Spirit, so I knew she could handle a good-fairh discussion.

Arguing endlessly I'm just not into, though I appreciate @Edward429451 premise and reason for starting the thread. Always good to be ready, no matter when He comes! 👍

Ciao! 😊

Ty for an answer and insights to your view, you make very good points. Now the difference that I see is that those believers with the seal of God are the many who will convert during the Trib, after the Rapture. Where pre & post Tribbers differ is that pre-tribs believe in the Rapture catches up believers before the Trib and post-tribs at the end with the Church going thru the wrath of God. Of course it's true as believers we will have opposition and persecution, as the Bible says.
What I also concur is that it's key to just 'Be Ready' from now on. I wouldn't want to take any chances on being 'left behind' lol. That's what I posted about Paul Crouch a while back, is that God told him on this matter, 'tell the people to 'Be Ready' and I think that's the perfect answer. Thx again for a direct answer too, bravo, lol!😍 (btw, I'm not angry or hate any post-tribbers😂 honest)

I hung in there at the study? I could explain it and walk (someone) through it, but I do not believe that I could explain it to you (or the 2ndtry girl) because of your attitudes and resistance to dialogue for you two seek monologue. And you are too exasperating to make further attempts. Sorry.

Those with ears to hear and eyes to see understand the berean type dedication it takes to unlock such mysteries.

1 Corinthians 15:51
51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,.../KJV
Everything in 1 Cor. 15 is Paul's teaching about the FIRST resurrection in Rev. 20:1-5. You can't explain to me because there is none. There're only two resurrections, one at the beginning of the millennial kingdom for the saved, one at the end for the unsaved.

Amen
The opposite setting.
Yes don't change it.
At the same time change your timing to agree with normal life at the rapture.
"Opposite" ... or SIMILAR setting?

But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matt.24:37)

Ok
Yes
Sorry, I was thinking you are postribber rapture.
Yes, Rev 14:14 is a gathering AFTER 1 thes 4.
Preteib rapture, BEFORE THE GATHERING of rev 14:14.

Now apply your firstfruit reference to the 144,000
Remember how firstfruits PRECEDES main harvest?
The 144,000 PRECEDE SOMETHING.
THE 144,000 PRECEDE MAIN HARVEST.
AHEM....MAIN HARVEST JEWS.

NOW YOU ARE TALKING!!!!!
YOU JUST STEPPED INTO WHY REV 14 DECISIVELY DESTROYS COMPLETELY POSTRIB RAPTURE.
If that were qualified as "main harvest" and "rapture", where is the resurrection before that? Either you or Paul is in error, and I tend to believe it's you. No pretrib rising, no pretrib rapture.

I am not the one that did not know Jesus is the firstfruits of the resurrection
Yes, you are. You did not know Jesus is the SHEAF of the firstfruits.

When you come into the land which I give to you, and reap its harvest, then you shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest to the priest. He shall wave the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted on your behalf; on the day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it. (Lev. 23:10-11)

So you are telling me half the world is taken before the flood?

Or as you insist, right at the start of the trib?
So, in your dot connections, you are making it alighn with a postrib rapture?

What is the flood then?
I thought you guys are saying the flood is the trib?

Are you telling me now that the flood is not the trib?
Because your doctrine has only the righteous going through the flood?

You make no sense at all.
I'm telling you that you either fail to comprehend plain English or deliberately play dumb. All the world except Noah's family were TAKEN by the flood, there's no half-half situation, and nobody was "taken" in any supernatural way "before the flood". Whether the flood is the trib or not, you tell me. I didn't compared the end times with the Flood, Lord Jesus did.

For as in the days before the flood, they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and did not know until the flood came and took them all away, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be. (Matt. 24:38-39)
