You are also telling us that Paul misunderstood the situation, and was in error as he was WARNING believers about these heretics and their heresies? Absolutely ridiculous.

No, but rather Paul is calling out as heretics anyone who DENIES the bodily resurrection at the RAPTURE as a certain FUTURE reality.

Similarly, in 2Thes 2, Paul likewise debunks the heretics out who are promoting the false doctrine that the Church was suffering in the midst of the end-time TRIBULATION (the DOTL), rather than being raptured before it ever happens! These heretics lied to the Thessalonians, telling them that they had missed the RAPTURE.

Essentially the same heresy as Hymenaeus and Philetus was spreading.

Their definitive heresy was gnosticism, which denied a bodily resurrection and claimed the resurrection was spiritual in nature that had already occurred.

btw your inordinately large, wordy, contrived posts remind me of these verses:

And btw, a sneaky pre-trib rapture would not be a resurrection; it would be a transformation, which is a completely different word. First the resurrection of the dead occurs, then the transformation of the living occurs
