This is a different accusation, you accused her of predicting 1844 and even by your quote doesn't say this.

1844 was the correct end of the 2300 days, while the expected event was wrong—Christ did not come to earth then; instead, He began a new phase of ministry in the heavenly sanctuary. God enters the "Most Holy" Heb9:10-13 What is in the Most Holy of God's Temple- the Ten Commandments under His mercy seat Exo25:21 - why? because His hour of Judgement has come Rev14:6-7 and we are judged based on what God said James2:11-12 Mat12:48 why we see the ark of the covenant at the last Trumpet at His Second Coming because its God's standard of Judgement Rev11:18-19 because He doesn't make mistakes- we do.

She never gave a date they were all studying the 2300 days in Daniel that God gave us to study so we can see where we are in time of His soon return. If God didn't want us to study it, it wouldn't be in our Bibles and He would says blessed to those who understand it. Rev1:3

Its a vision of the final deliverance of God’s people, not a date-setting. I do not see a date there.

Amen. Nothing about date setting.
She claimed God was using deception as a training tool and you say amen to that. She completely agreed with the day and depended on it. When it didn’t happen she used her so-called visions to explain it away as an invisible event just like every other false prophet.

Where did her vision of the sanctuary come from?

Those maybe your words, but not hers, never did she say understanding the 2300 days in Daniel by God was a deception tool.

Show that to me. Instead of accusing show me the evidence.
My first response to you the other day was when you said something to the effect that the problem was OUR hearts have not been changed, and you really should not have said that, speak for yourself in other words, I know mine has, and I quoted Scripture and asked if yours had not been changed and you said it was. If you deny this, what is the point of talking to you at all? It has been what our exchanges have centered around and you plead ignorance, not a game I want to play with you.

She said God held His hand over the chart to hide the mistakes. That’s deception.
The event didn't come from Ellen White, she never predicted 1844 it was from a Baptist minister. Did God hold the hand over Jonah eyes when he refused to go to Nineveh? God leads people He doesn't force. The understanding of the 2300 days came from God, people in Scripture misunderstood God all the time, look at Peter it doesn;t mean that God stopped working with them. This judgement of fellow men needs to stop. We are not God- He knows everything not us. How we judge others is how we will be judged.
Where did her vision of the sanctuary come from?
What's the point in even a discussing so you can ask AI how to argue against the points, you have your mind made it it has no bearing on me whatsoever- debating with AI is not my cup of tea. Take care.

Just show me by my actual posts. I see how things get misinterpreted around here all the time. I'm not interested in anything else but actual evidence. If you can't provide it, like I said before I am going to move on,

There is a massive difference between a prophet being stubborn like Jonah and a prophet claiming God intentionally hid a mistake on a chart to lead people into a false expectation.

I already know where her so-called sanctuary vision came from and it wasn’t God, just like the rest of her visions. Hiram Edson and O.R.L. Crosier came up with the sanctuary idea and published it in "The Day-Star" in early 1846, months before Ellen ever claimed to see it in a vision. If a prophet only sees a vision after reading a human's pamphlet, it isn't a revelation, it’s a copy and paste. You either choose to believe the lies or you are unaware of them. Which is it?

Not sure why you’re so against AI. It’s a handy tool. She might not have set the date but she did verify it.

  • God hid a mistake on the 1843 chart
"I have seen that the 1843 chart was directed by the hand of the Lord, and that it should not be altered; that the figures were as He wanted them; that His hand was over and hid a mistake in some of the figures, so that none could see it, until His hand was removed."
    Early Writings, Page 74
  • Hearing the day and hour of Jesus' coming
"Soon we heard the voice of God like many waters, which gave us the day and hour of Jesus' coming. The living saints, 144,000 in number, knew and understood the voice, while the wicked thought it was thunder and an earthquake."
    — Early Writings, Page 15
  • The 1844 calculation "stands without impeachment"
"The preaching of a definite time for the judgment, in the giving of the first message, was ordered of God. The computation of the prophetic periods on which that message was based, placing the close of the 2300 days in the autumn of 1844, stands without impeachment."
    The Great Controversy, Page 457
  • The 1844 date was correct, but the event was misunderstood
"I saw that they were correct in their reckoning of the prophetic periods; prophetic time closed in 1844... Their mistake consisted in not understanding what the sanctuary was and the nature of its cleansing."
    — Early Writings, Page 243
  • The 1844 movement "was of God"
"Even now, after the lapse of nearly half a century, all who shared in that movement and who have stood firm upon the platform of truth, still feel the holy influence of that blessed work, and bear witness that it was of God."
    — The Great Controversy, Page 40

The info I have posted is not AI...I don't use AI but that's fine. The point I make here, is that all the info I posted can be found in the literature of the time, the name of it and who wrote it. AI is ever expanding so no doubt it is able to come across much of the same info. I don't think some people know how AI works....I do, but it is my choice not to use it. :)

So, it's totally bogus of an SDA person to say White did not say this or that or someone is lying. These people are trained to fudge the truth and deny error with no regard for what the Bible actually states. The obsession with the Sabbath is just the beginning of the errors and disregard for scripture, but it remains one of the most obvious.

Where did her vision of the sanctuary come from?

White was often visited by this or that angel and that is actually pretty common for those who ere as gravely as she did, from actual scripture. We cannot expect her followers to be any different. When a person commits to following an individual who expresses the fact that personal visions and so called prophecies take precedence over the Bible, that person has lost their way and no longer represent the gospel of the kingdom of God as Jesus spoke of it.

Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons, I Tim.4:1

Reposting:

Lucinda Burdick, a friend of Mrs. White in the 1840s, explains how Mrs. White often predicted Christ's return:
I became acquainted with James White and Ellen Harmon (now Mrs. White) early in 1845. ... She pretended God showed her things which did not come to pass. At one time she saw that the Lord would come the second time in June 1845. The prophecy was discussed in all the churches, and in a little 'shut-door paper' published in Portland, Me. During the summer, after June passed, I heard a friend ask her how she accounted for the vision? She replied that 'they told her in the language of Canaan, and she did not understand the language; that it was the next September that the Lord was coming,

The language of Canaan?

People in all the churches soon began to get their eyes open, and came out decidedly against her visions; and, just as soon as they did so, she used to see them 'with spots on their garments,' as she expressed it. I was personally acquainted with several ministers, whom she saw landed in the kingdom with 'Oh! such brilliant crowns, FULL of stars.' As soon as they took a stand against the visions, she saw them 'doomed, damned, and lost for ever, without hope. (Lucinda Burdick as quoted in Miles Grant, An Examination of Mrs. Ellen White's Visions (Boston, Massachusetts: Advent Christian Publication Society, 1877).

So, much like many of today's SDA presenters, the moment a question is asked, a presentation questionned or the doctrine examined in the light of actual scripture, you are told you need to repent or you are going to hell (interesting since some devotees do not believe hell exists)

In her very first vision, in December of 1844, Ellen White began developing the theory that those who had rejected William Miller's delusion—described by Adventists as the Synagogue of Satan—would soon realize their mistake and come running to the Adventists in shame to grovel at their feet. She explained, "Then it was that the synagogue of Satan knew that God had loved us, and they worshiped at our feet."13

The problem with Ellen White's first vision is that it never came to pass. Those who rejected Miller's delusion never came to worship at the feet of the Whites. Besides, the idea of the wicked worshipping at the feet of the saints came from a Bible passage referring to the Church of Philadelphia. While Sabbath-keeping Adventists taught they were the Church of Philadelphia for twelve years after the Great Disappointment, that theory eventually fell out of favor. In 1856, James decided that they were Laodicea and not Philadelphia. He described their former understanding as "a mistake."14 They began teaching that the Philadelphia Church started in 1798 and ended in 1844. While it was impossible to suppress Mrs. White's first vision, which was widely republished, Mrs. White never again wrote that those who had rejected William Miller groveled at the feet of Sabbath-keeping Adventists.
( Ellen White, Spiritual Gifts, vol. 2 (1860), 32. In this passage she is describing her December 1844 vision. She also published a similar statement in "To the Little Remnant Scattered Abroad," Broadside, April 6, 1846, and A Word to the Little Flock (1847), 14. Also published in Testimonies, vol. 1, 59; Life Sketches (1915), 65.)

It begins to be clear from the above documented writings of White, that she was now expecting actual worship. She writes of people who rejected Adventist teaching coming to worship at Adventist feet. (in her miind only of course) Clearly, this idea is demonic in origin and White has fallen for the delusion that she is somehow worthy of worship.

I honestly do not know what else a person would need to know about White's teachings to utterly and completely reject them as total delusion and a grave departure from scripture.

I use it as a search engine on steroids. No way I’m reading through EGW’s 100,000 pages of forgery. I started reading through some of the health reform stuff the other day and wow. Made me proud to eat meat. People only complain about another using AI in a debate when it digs up something that they don’t like. It’s just important to ask it for direct verbatim quotes and links to verify. It will paraphrase sometimes and doesn’t always get it right.

I'm not suggesting anyone should not use it. I did make note I don't use it both just for info and the fact that all of White's heresies can be found online and also because the SDA member here told everyone in the commandment thread that I was using AI. I corrected them there and just noted it here before the false info about me is posted again.

If SDA doctrine adherents would actually study scripture with the same passion they swear allegiance to White, there could be a revolution; a leaving of the SDA cult and an actual understanding that Jesus is the only way to God. The commandments are not the way to God.

Amen. There are many ex-SDA members who dedicate their time now to helping others find that same freedom. There are entire websites, podcasts, and YouTube channels dedicated to deconstructing Adventism and showing how the New Covenant is about the King, not a 19th-century blueprint. When people finally stop trying to "calculate" their salvation and start trusting the finished work of the Son, they realize they don't need a sanctuary code to have a relationship with God.

It sounds like the key take-away here is the doctrine of sda, which means it’s man-made.
It’s not the doctrine of Jesus Christ.
