I'll not be responding to you any longer .. you don't even know what "idolatry" is.
and I'll not waste any more time arguing with a "Natural man" not having spiritual discernment.. God's Truth is "folishness to you"
"Have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness"
Have a Blessed Day !
YOU AGREE WITH YOUR FALSE PROPHET THAT TORTURING CHILDREN IS GOD’S WILL. And your fake prophet is the one that said portraits are idolatrous. I simply called out the sda hypocrisy of doing the same thing with art that the Catholics do while calling them idolatrous. So take your heretical mathematical false gospel somewhere else and don’t respond to me. 👍 I’m going to eat another steak. Today was a hard day at work.

God says something different, He said it so plainly, my faith is in His words.

Exo 34:28 So he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread nor drank water. And He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the Ten Commandments.

The law of God is the words of the covenant

He promises those words He would not alter

Psa 89:34 My covenant I will not break, Nor alter the word that has gone out of My lips.

What did Jesus predict He would to do with His law?

Isa 42:21 The LORD is well pleased for his righteousness’ sake;
He will magnify the law, and make it honourable.

God so plainly told us the words of the Covenant is the Ten Commandments, He will not alter His words, the Ten Commandments, but came to magnify them.

The old covenant ended because the people broke their promise Exo19:8 otherwise God would have never sought to make a new covenant. But in God's mercy and love for humanity He gave us another chance- and wrote a new covenant, not based on all new words because He promised not to change them but to magnify, so established the New Covenant on better Promises Heb8:6 and writes a New Covenant which He magnified His law, just as He promised by writing it in our minds, so we know to do them and writings them in our hearts because we delight to do the will of God Psa40:8

Heb8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put My laws in their mind and write them on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be My people.

Sadly not everyone is in a covenant with God because they do not like the terms John3:19-21 they reject joining themselves to the LORD to serve Him Isa56:6 and has chosen another to serve by their actions Rom6:16KJV

Rom8:7 Because the carnal mind is enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. 8 So then, those who are in the flesh cannot please God.

Why the Holy Spirit calls on us daily to not harden our heart and come out of our rebellion and sin if we hear Him Heb3:7-19 Jesus said when we lay aside the commandment of God quoting from the Ten Commandments for man-made rules, it makes the word of God of no effect and our heart far from Him (by rejecting what he placed their - His laws) and our worship to Him is in vain Mat15:3-14 Mark7:7-13
Do you know what "New" means? You should look it up. Mirriam Webster or Oxford dictionaries will do. God's covenant of law is with Israel, as you point out. I am not a Jew. The law now is the law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus. Your false prophet stated that only the sinlessly perfect will enter the City of God. Good luck with that. Let it be according to your faith. My faith is in the finished work of Jesus, by His death, resurrection, ascension and glorification. He is my Lord, my life and my Deliverer. My boast is in what He has done for me, not what I do for Him.

I'm not big on denominations. However, most denominations restored some truth that was suppressed by Catholicism. Luther restored grace, the Presbyterians eldership, Baptists baptism by immersion. Methodists restored holiness, Pentecostals restored the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Yes, generalisations to be sure.

However, SDA teachings add nothing to the body of truth that has been restored to the church. They seek to put believers under bondage to dead religion. SDA preaches a false gospel of works.

SDA have the wonderful ability to selectively quote scripture. Sure, those in the flesh cannot please God. That includes SDA who try to please God by their own dead works. The same Bible also says

"You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him." Romans 8:9

SDA is like King Saul when David volunteered to take down Goliath. Saul offered David his armour. David wisely refused. SDA seek to weigh down God's people with rules and regulations that are not only worthless but a hindrance to spiritual growth.

Let it be according to your faith. My faith is in the finished work of Jesus, by His death, resurrection, ascension and glorification. He is my Lord, my life and my Deliverer. My boast is in what He has done for me, not what I do for Him
My boast is in Christ too.
But I do not think everything was finished at the cross.
The sacrifice was finished at the cross but the work of salvation is still happening today.

New souls are coming to Christ.
And sanctification is still happening.
Glorification has not finished.

My faith is in the continual work of Jesus.

My faith is in Christ's ability to save me FROM sin and free me From the chains of sin.
Not in a faith that thinks Jesus saves us IN sin and leaves us bond to sin.

Can Jesus fully and completely SAVE you from sin? That requires more faith but I believe He can.

Heb 7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Save to the uttermost.... not partly or half or smallest amount but to the uttermost.
If Jesus is today interceding for us the work isn't finished.
If souls are still being saved the work isn't done.

My boast is in Christ too.
But I do not think everything was finished at the cross.
The sacrifice was finished at the cross but the work of salvation is still happening today.

New souls are coming to Christ.

There are two salvations. The first is better described as the new birth. That is perfect and complete. God's word makes that clear. Just one verse of many :
"And you have been made complete in Christ, who is the head over every ruler and authority." Colossians 2:10

God is going to do no more for us than he has done already in Christ. Check it our yourself. There are well over 50 declarations of who we are "in Christ". If believers searched out our new birthright instead of fussing over which i to dot and which t to cross, we would all be better off.

The second salvation is the outworking of the initial, born again experience. Is OSAS true? Yes. Can a Christian lose his salvation? Yes. Both can be true because they are referring to two different things.

The born again experience is instantaneous, done by God Himself and irreversible. The salvation of the soul is also done by God, but it is conditional, dependent on our willingness to be changed. God does His part and we must respond.

"Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.…"
(Philippians 2:12 & 13)

If the truth of two salvations was taught correctly, a great deal of confusion would evaporate. I've tried to declare the truth here, but not so many are interested in hearing it.

I know you are having a hard time understanding "spiritual discernment", as evident by your having a hard time gleaning understand of the "The Faith OF Jesus" that IS His Righteousness, which is what Hebrews is talking about. Our resting in Jesus AND HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, (
=The righteousness of Christ = His obedience ) being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Jesus' Righteousness IS His obedience to The Father's Will, => which He did perfectly, His whole life, to be the "Lamb of God", never having been disobedient, Jesus never sinned, never broke any of the 10 Commandments of the Father's Will, including the Keeping of the Sabbath, along with all His Believers & Followers, ie disciples, ( which I am as well per Matt. 22:37 )

The Remnant Church => Rev. 14:12 " Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus." ( The Faith of Jesus, to do the Father's Will, by not sinning, by keeping The Father's Commandements, including the Sabbath )

(Please pray for the Holy Spirit to give you discernment of the following scripture, ~ Hebrews, To reveal God's Will for us to obey Him)

"Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin." (Hebrews 3:12-13)

"This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them." (Hebrews 10:16)

"Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:" (Hebrews 12:14)

1 John 3:4 (KJV)
"Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law."
including the Sabbath

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The astute among us will notice that the words in red are NOT those of Jesus.
Jesus never sinned, He fulfilled all of the OC laws including the Decalogue,
and his atonement fulfilled Messianic prophecies.
Jesus gave one comprehensive command: Repent of hate/Love everyone including God, self, neighbors, fellow believers--
and enemies (Matt. 22:37-40, John 13:35, Matt. 5:44).
Paul clarified that divine love manifests the Holy Spirit (Rom. 5:5&8, Gal. 5:6 & 22-23).
Nothing said about the OT Sabbath law except that it is optional (Col. 2:16) and signifies saving faith--
like physical circumcision (Col. 2:11, Rom. 2:28-29).

The intercession of Christ in man’s behalf in the sanctuary above is as essential to the plan of salvation as was His death upon the cross.

The salvation of man is accomplished at an infinite expense to heaven; the sacrifice made is equal to the broadest demands of the broken law of God.

If the law of God could have been changed or removed then Christ would not have needed to die.

The price of sin cost Jesus more then we will ever know and God would not change the law or make the law void in any way so that the sinner is no longer guilty. (No law = no sin)..

The fact that Christ died on the Cross because of the transgression of the law, proves that the law has not been removed.

Or if the death of Christ is what removed the law, then the guilt of all sinners, including the devil, is removed.

No law = no sin. Which = no guilt.

The law of God is still pointing out sin today so it has not changed in any way.

The Law has not changed and neither has the heart of the unbeliever. The purpose of the law, either written or the conscience of gentiles, is to lead people to Christ. It has then done its job. Death came to mankind thousands of years before the Law was handed down. It was given to Israel alone. There were 613 laws. They governed every aspect of Israel's life. And the Law did NOTHING to save Israel. And the Law does nothing to save anyone even now.

The believer is born again and his citizenship is in heaven. I live in Australia and I'm governed by Australian law. If I move to another nation, I will have to conform the the laws of that nation. Believers are not subject to the Laws of God. We are governed (or should be) by the Law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus.

For the believer, the law is obsolete. it is a shadow of the reality. The legalists want to live in the shadows. I prefer the light.

Yeah ! I realized last nite as I was trying to fall asleep, and that I needed to apologize to you and others, as the Holy Spirit was convicting me of what a hypocrite I am. As in Jesus telling the Pharisees how they were being hypocritical by promoting and adhering to God's Commandments, but then not expressing the Love of God, God's Loving character of the Law, to God's people Israel of the time. ........... as a loving Sister friend of mine put's it, "The Holy Spirit, gave me a "Spanking" last nite" . ( @SabbathBlessing )

Then the first thought I have upon waking this morning is a continuing thought.
" The truth in a world of lies is anarchy"
... a sentiment probably gotten from George Orwell, "In a time of deceit, telling the truth is a revolutionary act"
... when talking about "Obedience to God" in a forum of Disobedience to God, makes me a object of ridicule and hate.

John 15:18–21 "If the world hates you, know that it hated me first. If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own. Instead, the world hates you, because you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world. Remember the word that I spoke to you: ‘No servant is greater than his master.’ If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you. If they kept my word, they will keep yours as well."

This especially goes for messengers and prophets of God, anyone speaking by the power and insightfullness of the Holy Spirit, this TRUTH spoken to an DISOBEDIENT , anti-Loving endtime world, ...
II Timothy 3:
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.

2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

5 Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.

13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

Luke 21:36
Jesus instructs believers to "stay awake at all times, praying that you may have strength to escape all these things that are going to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."

Still playing the persecution card. I did not point out that Ellen endorsed a seadistic doctor because I hate you. I did it because I love you. You said she was only backing him when he was doing God’s will. If you believe the torture of children is God’s will then you are not worshipping God and the Holy Spirit is not inside you. It means evil is inside of you.

Do yourself a favor. Compare your so called prophet to scripture. Compare all her fruit, the lies, deceptions, sadistic morals, and hypocrisy. If your eyes are truly open and you mind not closed, you will see the truth.

2 Salvations ???

I see one salvation.
Justification and sanctification are not 2 different salvations

Glorification isn't another salvation.

Can we loss our justification?
Can we be born again and walk away from God? Can we rebel against the Holy Spirit and harden our hearts.?

Many have lost their first love and I know people that were zealous baptized Christians that have given up on God.

When through repentance and faith we accept Christ as our Saviour, the Lord pardons our sins, and pays the penalty prescribed for the transgression of the law. The sinner then stands before God as a just person; he is taken into favor with Heaven. This is justification by faith.
Then there is another work to be accomplished, and this is of a progressive nature. The soul is to be sanctified through the truth. And this also is accomplished through faith. For it is only by the grace of Christ, which we receive through faith, that the character can be transformed.
Then at the second comming of Christ the saved will be transformed, changed in the twinkling of an eye. This is glorification.

they are not different stages of salvation..

They all work together and are all achieved by faith in Jesus.

2Co 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

Today is the day of salvation.
Not the future, not the past. Today..

Friend I understand, these constant attacks are not just against us, but the LORD of the Sabbath and its hard to take what God's made holy and sactified a blessing for us and see what they do with it. In the end its in God's hand, we can try to show the word of God, but if their heart is not open to it, all we can do is pray. These types of attacks will only get worse- wait until their is a law where you have to worship on Sunday and the Sabbath is outlawed - now we will be accused of being lawbreakers and our punishment will be worse than people who kill or commit real crimes according to God. We have to strengthen ourselves in God- He is our only shield. This is just a taste to come, but God promises to be with us until the end.

There will be no law that says one must worship on Sunday. The only Christian’s that care what day people worship are sabbath keepers that are still believe they are in the old covenant. Drop the conspiracy theories and victim card.

If you do not see it then you do not know God's word well enough.
".....now that you are receiving the goal of your faith, the salvation of your souls." 1 Peter 1:9

"Therefore, get rid of all moral filth and every expression of evil, and humbly accept the word planted in you, which can save your souls." James 1:21

These words are written to believers, not the lost. Receiving........... we do not have the fullness as yet.

Much of the problem is in the word "salvation". In the context of the progressive "salvation of the soul", it would be better rendered "deliverance." In some non English versions of the Bible, it does use deliverance.

I'll say it again. To be born again is instantaneous. The born again spirit of man is the because of the imperishable word of God (1 Peter 1:23). The soul is not the spirit. The soul is where our problems are. We need to be delivered and that is a lifetime's work of grace.

The born again experience is instantaneous, done by God Himself and irreversible. The salvation of the soul is also done by God, but it is conditional, dependent on our willingness to be changed. God does His part and we must respond.

Rev 21:27 And there shall in no wise enter into it any thing that defileth, neither whatsoever worketh abomination, or maketh a lie: but they which are written in the Lamb's book of life.

The lambs book of life is important.
If your name is not in there you are not saved.

A person’s name is recorded in the book of life when they manifest repentance for sin, exercise faith in Jesus Christ, and choose to serve God. True faith.

While our names are entered when we first believe, the Scriptures warn that it is possible for a name to be blotted out if a person turns back to a life of sin or fails to overcome. We are currently living in a time where the records of heaven are being examined to see who has remained faithful to the end.

Rev 3:5 He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.

Exo 32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever hath sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.

Eze 18:24 But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, .....and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

Dan 12:1 And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: and at that time thy people shall be delivered, every one that shall be found written in the book.

Rev 20:15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Knowing that your name can be blotted out or removed from the book of life is important. You can loss salvation.

You guys really need to stay out of revelation. Y’all don’t understand it. All I ever see yall post is Old Testament and revelation verses. Quit focusing on the “remnant” and focus on Jesus. Read the entire bible.

Yes, but it is difficult to say everything clearly, so I would offer these fine tunings:

God and His will/purpose has not changed (Eph. 1:3-11).
The purpose of God's OT Levitical laws (613?) given by Moses was to separate the Jews until they produced Messiah,
and the purpose of God's eternal moral law/will is to teach all humanity their need for salvation/Messiah (Rom. 3:21-5:1).
All humanity are subject to the will of God, which culminated in the Gospel and in the HS indwelling believers (Rom. 8:9).
Thus, during the era of the Church of Christ (Gal. 3:28) the OT view of salvation via obeying laws is superseded
by manifesting the love of the HS (Gal. 3:22-23).

Perhaps this fine-tuning also needs fine-tuning?

Re: the alleged allegation- here is more context.

I am not going to debate this further because when someone is only looking to smear someone and not look at the full context, its not going to matter what the truth really is because its not about that but an agenda. People think if you kill the messenger, the message (of the Sabbath) goes away- it doesn;t because it came directly from God His own spoken and written Testimony Exo31:18. I do not follow EGW and don't know of any Adventist that does- I follow God and His word. I do not know of one person who became an Adventist because of EGW, they come from reading and studying the Bible alone and never read and EGW book and most do later and find how much her writings line up with bible, if it is not distorted to fit an agenda.

EGW never set a date, even in the accusation just made no date was ever set. So we need to be careful of our accusations I do not believe our LORD takes them lightly.

Ellen White’s 1856 statement should not be read as an isolated, unconditional time prophecy. In context, it appears in a larger testimony rebuking worldliness and spiritual lethargy among Sabbath-keepers, showing the moral condition of the people before God. Later Ellen White explicitly taught that God’s promises and threatening's are conditional, and that Christ could have come earlier if the Advent people had done their appointed work. On that basis, the fairest defense is that the 1856 vision described a real possibility conditioned on the church’s response, not an absolute guarantee that specific attendees must live until the Advent regardless of later delay.

Just as biblical prophecy often compresses events and speaks with immediacy, Ellen White’s 1856 statement can be read as presenting the Advent as genuinely near for that generation in connection with the church’s faithfulness to its mission, rather than as an unconditional guarantee that certain attendees would inevitably survive until the final Advent.

Ellen White’s wording in 1856 sounds forceful because biblical prophetic speech often sounds that way. Jesus Himself sometimes spoke of the coming kingdom in terms that pressed directly on His hearers. Therefore, Ellen White’s statement should not automatically be treated as a crude failed prediction simply because it speaks of some present persons remaining alive until Christ’s coming. In Scripture, end-time language is often framed to create urgency and accountability for the present generation

There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom” Matthew 16:28.
This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled Matthew 24:34.

The astute among us will notice that the words in red are NOT those of Jesus.
1 John 3:4 (KJV) "Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law." including the Sabbath
It was&IS&willbe, the Holy Spirit = God = Jesus who says, " Keep the sabbath day to sanctify it, as the LORD your God has commanded you." Deut 5:12

Looks like those of you, "astute among us" are being deceived by Satan, believing his lie.

II Thessalonians 2;
9 Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders,
10 And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved.

11 And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

What lie ? ... you should ask ...
The first lie of Satan in Eden, the lie that got us into God's Gospel Plan, to redeem the world, through His Son.
The lie when Satan said, " Go ahead and disobey God, SIN, you surely WON'T DIE, ... The wages of sin are not really DEATH.

Genesis 3:4: "And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:"
Believing Satan rather than Jesus, being your Religion of Disobedience, by your believing you "surely won't die" )

Repent ! and be baptized for the remission of your SIN... to come over to the Spirit of Obedience to God, His Will, The Righteousness of Christ, for your soul's sake. Amen !

No, it looks like you nullify the Gospel by going in reverse and interpreting Col. 2:16, Rom. 3:21-5:1, Heb. 7:11-10:1, etc.
in light of Deut. 5:12 instead of going forward with God's new revelation, which is the correct direction per Gal. 1:6-9.
Please shift gears for your own good!

Whenever someone posts Col2:16 without its context that's a real red flag. Trying to make Paul teach against Christ Mat15:3-14 Mark 7:7-13 Mat5:18-19 and even Paul. Col2:8 1Cor7:19 no wonder why we have this 2Peter3:16
