How to quit grazing..snacking...well, just eat more in your main meals and then you won't be so hungry between meals?
Make a decision NOT to buy snack foods, and spend your money on fresh food. If it's not there, you can't have it.
Substitute proper snacks, like popcorn freshly made instead of packet chips.
I don't know if americans have morning tea and afternoon tea, but here its a proper break time with a small snack, usually a tea and a biscuit, or a scone or some baked good. Not more than 2 biscuits, because its unfair to be greedy and not leave food for others.
Have a piece of easy to eat fruit, like a banana or mandarin (easy peel, you don't need a knife or spoon) or small apples or fruit that is portion sized. Not something huge like a watermelon. Prepare fruit like cut it up into morsels beforehand so when you are hungry for a snack it can be convenient, but it will be healthier and get you vitamins instead of empty calories.
Watch something like the documentary on sugar, how it's made, how it exploits workers, how bad for you it is, then you'll be put off if that's your weakness. Think of the things you could die of if you have too much of it, like heart attacks, strokes, diabetes, kidney disease, liver disease...if you don't eat enough fibre, you could die of being constipated and it would not be a good way to go!
