Jesus said of John the Baptist....

Mat 11:9-11
9 But what went ye out for to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet. 10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before thy face, which shall prepare thy way before thee. 11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

John preached ... Mat 3:2 And saying, Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

He was preparing the way for Christ's first coming and it wasn't a message of peace and safety.

The message to be preached today is ....

Rev 14:6-12
6 And I saw another angel fly in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach unto them that dwell on the earth, and to every nation, and kindred, and tongue, and people, 7 Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters. 8 And there followed another angel, saying, Babylon is fallen, is fallen, that great city, because she made all nations drink of the wine of the wrath of her fornication. 9 And the third angel followed them, saying with a loud voice, If any man worship the beast and his image, and receive his mark in his forehead, or in his hand, 10 The same shall drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is poured out without mixture into the cup of his indignation; and he shall be tormented with fire and brimstone in the presence of the holy angels, and in the presence of the Lamb: 11 And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name. 12 Here is the patience of the saints: here are they that keep the commandments of God, and the faith of Jesus.

It isn't a message of peace and safety. It is one of repentance and urgency. It is about getting ready to meet the coming Lord.

In Noah's day they laughed at the thought of a flood...

You can laugh at the message we are promoting but please learn from the past. Read your Bible and tell me which prophet prepared God's people by giving them words that were sweat and pleasing?

Would you prefer people tell you the truth or a lie?

2Ti 4:2-4
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
I prefer truth. And I prefer it uncontaminated by the words of a false prophet and by twisted interpretations of the SDA. I could make a corkscrew out of what comes out the SDA.

Tell me again about Jesus entering the Holiest place in 1844? My Bible says that Jesus entered the Holiest place when He rose from the dead.

Go to Israel and become a pharisee. You'll do just fine there. I am already holy because Jesus is my holiness. I am already righteous because Jesus is my righteousness. I'm already in heaven because I am seated in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus.

The law was given to Israel, not to gentiles. I'm not a Jew. Of course, you are selectively blind to the truth of God's word. Acts 15 is how the written law applies to me. In other words, it does not.
Mark 2:27 And He said to them, “The Sabbath was made for man, and not man for the Sabbath. 28 Therefore the Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath.”

Original Word: ἄνθρωπος
Part of Speech: Noun, Masculine
Transliteration: anthrópos
Pronunciation: AN-thro-pos
Phonetic Spelling: (anth'-ro-pos)
KJV: certain, man
NASB: man, men, people, man's, human, mankind
Word Origin: [from G435 (ἀνήρ - man) and ops "the countenance" (from G3700 (ὀπτάνομαι - appearing))

So unless one is not human according to Jesus who is God, the Sabbath was made for us.

Why Paul contrasted circumcision with God's commandments

1 Cor7:19 Circumcision is nothing and uncircumcision is nothing, but keeping the commandments of God is what matters.

Why we see humans keeping every Sabbath in every City for generation after generation because its a commandment of God made for mankind.

Acts 15:21 For Moses has had throughout many generations those who preach him in every city, being read in the synagogues every Sabbath.”

Why its kept by God's faithful until the very end

Rev 14:12 Here is the [a]patience of the saints; here are those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus.

And continues on forever for God's saints.

Isa 66:23 And it shall come to pass
That from one New Moon to another,
And from one Sabbath to another,
All flesh shall come to worship before Me,” says the Lord.

If God is your holiness than you would do what He asks for you to also keep holy Exo20:8-11 because you would want to live by His every Word Mat4:4 and be formed in His image since He kept the seventh day Sabbath holy Exo20:11 Gen2:1-3

If God was your holiness you would accept His sanctification Eze20:12 because we can't do this ourselves Isa66:17

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

We establish the Law

Rom 6:1-2
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

We should not continue to sin because of the grace of God.

Rom 6:15-16
15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid. 16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Rom 6:22-23
22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life. 23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

1Jn 3:3-4
3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure. 4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

A simple question for people.

Is it okay to transgress the law of God today?

What commandments did Jesus quote from? Are you claiming the Sabbath is not a commandment of God? Would you care to find that in Scripture because our LORD both spoke and wrote this commandment and called it "My commandments" Exo20:6 Exo20:1-17 Exo31:18 Deut4:13.
No @ATG
is claiming we don't have to follow ANY of the commandments he thinks they are all void and Null contradicting everything Christ did teach during his ministry he is blind and cannot see, his heart has been closed and he will not see;

Jhn 8:43 Why do you not understand what I am saying? It is because you are unable to accept My message.

Jhn 8:44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out his desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, refusing to uphold the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, because he is a liar and the father of lies.

Jhn 8:45 But because I speak the truth, you do not believe Me!

Jhn 8:46 Which of you can prove Me guilty of sin? If I speak the truth, why do you not believe Me?

Jhn 8:47 Whoever belongs to God hears the words of God. The reason you do not hear is that you do not belong to God.”

Salvation has been the same from the start.

The gift of God in Jesus Christ.
The forgiveness of Sin by the blood of Jesus.

Sin = eternal death
JESUS paid the price for us and gifts us Eternal life.

We are saved from SIN.

Salvation is the same for both Old and new Testament.

Old Testament looked forward to a coming Messiah by faith.
New Testament look back to the Messiah that has come by faith.

Sin was the same and is the same.
The penalty was and is the same.
Salvation and the conditions are the same.

The conditions of salvation have remained absolutely identical from the days of Adam until the present time, as they are based on the unchangeable character of God and His immutable law. While the outward forms and ceremonies have transitioned from types and shadows to the reality found in Christ, the underlying requirements of faith and obedience have never varied.

All who humble their hearts, confessing their sins, will find mercy and grace and assurance. Has God, in showing mercy to the sinner, ceased to be just? Has He dishonored His holy law, and will He henceforth pass over the violation of it? God is true. He changes not. The conditions of salvation are ever the same.

Paul says to the Galatians .....3:21-25. Is the law then against the promises, of God? God forbid; for if there had been a law given which could have given life, verily righteousness should have been by the law. But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe. But before faith came we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed. Wherefore the law was our school-master to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.”

This is clearly the laws that were a type.
They pointed to the coming Christ.
The laws of sacrifice and offerings..
They were a shadow until Christ died.

Life is promised to all who will obey God's law, a requirement that was as essential for the lawyer in Christ's day as it is for us now Luke 10:25-28.

The Ten Commandments are a transcript of God’s character and a reflection of His throne; they cannot be changed or abolished to meet man in his fallen condition Psalms 119:89

Jesus did not change the Holy Law of God so that we can be saved... He died on the cross to pay the price of transgressing the law.

We have all sinned and keeping the law will not save us because one sin is all it takes to be lost forever. But the gift of salvation is offered to us by faith.

Jesus has saved us from the penalty of transgressing the law.
Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

God's grace is not an excuse to make the law void or change the law.

Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? God forbid. Nay, I had not known sin, but by the law: for I had not known lust, except the law had said, Thou shalt not covet. 8 But sin, taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.
.
Rom 7:12-13
12 Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good. 13 Was then that which is good made death unto me? God forbid. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful.

I'm saved by grace but that does not mean I should continue in sin.

Love motivates obedience.

We can't find your quote in Scripture, the one where God Himself tell us why they could not enter into their land fill of milk and honey is stated directly from God. And its the exact opposite of what you say. Which is why I never trust someone who makes a statement and than gives two chapters to try to find it in, which of course is never there.

This is what God said- He was there and He stated it as plain as it can be.

Eze 20:15 So I also raised My hand in an oath to them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, ‘flowing with milk and honey,’ the glory of all lands, 16 because they despised My judgments and did not walk in My statutes, but profaned My Sabbaths; for their heart went after their idols.

So while you claim they could not enter for keeping God's Sabbath- God said the exact opposite. We are told plainly that we are not to follow in the same example of disobedience to enter our rest Heb4:11

The issue is not that God is not clear in His word, the issue is our hardened heart and not hearing Him Heb3:7-19

If your Bible does not have the NT including Heb. 3:7-4:11 and Rom. 3:21-4:5, Eph. 2:8-10, Gal. 3:26-29, Col. 2:16-17, etc. which cite the OT but supersede its belief that salvation is earned via obeying the Torah laws with the Gospel of salvation via saving faith in Messiah, then you need to get a Christian version and be blessed every day of the week!

The NT quotes the OT like Hebrews 3 and 4 so if we are not allowing the Bible to explain itself, chances are we are leaning on our own understanding and not God’s Pro3:5-6

This ides that Jesus and the apotles deleted the OT is not Biblical. 2Tim3:16

When God tells us the reason and we don’t believe Him- we should truly consider where we are, but thats me. Jesus is God and Jesus is the great I AM in the OT John 8:58 and He told us to live by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God quoting the OT Mat4:4 people don’t understand what they are rejecting.

Salvation was by faith in the old and is the same today.

God has not changed His standards
God has not made salvation different for us compared to those that lived earlier.

They looked forward to a coming Messiah by faith.

No one can earn eternal life. No one can pay the debt they owe.

By grace and mercy God has given us salvation but heaven will be a hell to those that refuse to let sin go. Sin hates righteousness.

Sin will not rise up a second time so now is the time to give up sin and surrender all to Jesus. Sin will not enter Heaven and if we are holding on to sin it will stop us from entering. Our characters will not be changed when Jesus returns we need to repent and renew our hearts today. Rev 22:11-12. 2Pet 1:5-7.
So it isn't about earning salvation it is about preparing to live in a sinless righteous place with Jesus. Jesus will create in you a new heart IF you let Him.
Ps 51:10. Eze 36:26.

Its doesn;t apply to myself- its for the people of God Exo20:8-11 Heb4:9NIV

I am not sure the point you are trying to make, It appears you are trying to make the point that one of God's commandments can't be kept, so therefore why try? Or something along these lines- this is something you will have to take upwith God.
The point is obvious: Not answering the straight question honestly, is the answer.

No, as a congregation you do not keep your sabbath as by commandment, but only by free will and convenience.

Which is fine in practice, since there is no NT sabbath commandment for the body of Christ. But, since you falsely preach it as a commandment of the Lord, then you must be avoided as false teachers of your own commandments in the name of Christ:

Mar 7:7
Howbeit in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Tit 1:14
Not giving heed to commandments of men, that turn from the truth.

All modern pseudo-Christian sabbath keepers are profane frauds. You push a sabbath as by commandment, but don't keep it as a congregation. If someone is personally free to never work on your sabbath day, then so be it. But, if due to employment/career necessity, then you don't keep it, and likewise so be it.

You work out some corban scheme of sabbath-pay donation, so as to soothe the conscience of the sabbath 'breaker', congregation, and pseudo-sabbath 'minister'.

Are you claiming the Sabbath that God blessed and made holy is a man-made tradition that God in His written Testimony Exo31:18 said it was part of "His commandments" Exo20:6 - you are going to have to tell this to God, because God was very clear on this matter. I like to let God tell us what things are and not the other way around, but we do have free will and I am sure God will sort it all out in His time.

God doesn't look at the breaking the Sabbath any different than breaking the other 9 commandments. Man might, not God and what He says is what matters to me.
God doesn't treat any commandment breaking from another: All are transgressions without exceptions from God.

Eph 4:28
Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.

Whether the thief, fornicator, drunkard, profane blasphemer, etc... the new convert to Jesus Christ stops breaking His commandments, and starts doing His good will. No exceptions, no 'grace' periods.

Commandments of men are not so. They are not of God and do not rationally apply in normal life. Therefore, they must make exceptions to soothe the conscience of their congregational proselytes.

Such as the modern pseudo-sabbath of congregational frauds, that 'allow' for their sabbath to be broken, if a member is employed, under contract, or committed to a career, where they must work regularly or at times on their sabbath day. They are not commanded to cease and desist at once from 'breaking' that congregation's play-sabbath day.

They also either preach a carbon remittance of their sabbath-pay, or allow the new proselyte to 'voluntarily' conclude one in due time. I seriously doubt if they go so far as to allow continued working on their sabbath, without some kind of financial nod to sabbath-pay donations.

Why are you calling God's Sabbath a pseudo-sabbath do you not know Who you are making this accusation against? You keep referring to God's Sabbath as a commandment of man, when its a commandment of God. Written by God spoken by God. Exo31:18 Exo20:1 and was in the same unit God said not not worship other gods or murder our neighbor.

I am saying exactly what you and every sabbath-fraud today knows I am saying: As a congregation you do not keep your sabbath as by commandment, but only by free will and convenience.

Every modern pseudo-sabbath congregation is a fraud: None of them keep their sabbath by commandment, but only be free will convenience. None of them preach their sabbath as a commandment of the Lord, where there is no exception rule nor space of grace to conform.

God's commandments are obeyed immediately upon conversion to Jesus Christ. The thief stops stealing, the whore stops whoring, the drunkard stops being drunk, etc...

If Jesus Christ commmanded a Sabbath day to His NT body and churches, then there would be no exceptions based upon the present employment/career demands of the new convert. Even if under lawful contract that requires working on their sabbath day, they would be compelled to break the contract and suffer the lawful prosecutions and penalties in the name of Christ. That would include military duty.

Today's sabbath frauds do not command it, because their sabbath is not a commandment of God, but only a play-day preached for themselves. Which they also self-righteously and hypocritically preach against others. They condemn others for not preaching, what they themselves only preach, but do not keep holy as a congregation.

This says more about you than anything else. Only God knows how millions of people keep or do not keep His Sabbath, not strangers on the Internet. I do pray you do not think you're God.

SDA are masters at selectively quoting the Bible.
No different than JW's with their created angel-christ.

However, the good thing about God's word is that He cuts through all the reams of pseudo-Bible scholarship, by exposing the lie with one or two simple Scriptures of truth.

John 1:1 is enough to debunk any created christ that is not God. And Col 2:16 is sufficient to debunk any commanded sabbath day for the body of Christ.

Just as the Pharisees of old, all such cultish groups are self-promoted elitists and separatists from the common faith and salvation of Jesus Christ. They each have their very own special little rule and commandment, that is not written by the Lord's apostles for all Christians to keep. It makes them self-righteously special, as well as judges against the innocent, that do not play their private game.

Other groups include circumcision Judaizers, holiness Pentecostals, Acts 2:38 baptizers, etc...

This is all about your phony congregation. Only God knows how many fraudulent sabbath groups there are like you. I know you think you're deflecting. But nonanswers to straight questions are always the answer of hypocrites.

Mat 21:27
And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell.
