I didn't say they placed their faith in the law. They did what God told them to do, so they were trusting in him to forgive them
This is quoted from YOUR post " They offered and placed their faith in the required sacrifices for their sins." It sounds like, it seems to me, that their faith was placed in their sacrifices, a requirement OF the law, but not in the law giver. David, a man after God's own heart, ate the shewbread, which is against the law, because his faith was placed in God, not the law.

No, He decided He was not going to sin and would always be faithful to the Father.

So because of this He could not sin.

We should all have the same attitude and cease from sin in our lives and be followers of God as dear children
So are you saying that Jesus COULD have sinned but decided not to? That seems to mean that He could have, which is different from your answer, which started with "no." I totally agree with your last sentence :-))

Is your faith in the blood of Jesus, or in Jesus? It seems to me to be an unnecessary quibbling about syntax

I was not born with a sin nature.

No, the Lord did not put sin in to me when He formed me in my momma's womb

What happened was I was born in to a world full of sin and darkness and I eventually starting sinning but I was not a born sinner.

If I had been a born sinner then I'd be like the reform theology guys believing I can never stop sinning and therefore I would be living in sin and I would be going around proudly proclaiming to everyone that "I'm a sinner" with great joy and enthusiasm for sin
As children we all, born innocent, then shortly thereafter selfish, rebellious and the center of existence, had to be taught to do right, but not wrong. No, you're right, God did not put a sin nature in us, it was passed down from Adam. Sin doesn't start outside of us. The effects of a sinful world doesn't create but enhances what is already in us, just as, after being born again and having received a righteous nature, the effects of fellowship with the Holy Spirit ( a very present help ) and with like minded believers (should) enhance growth in righteousness.

So are you saying that Jesus COULD have sinned but decided not to?

No, because He was devoted to the Father He could never sin.

No, you're right, God did not put a sin nature in us, it was passed down from Adam.

I did not inherit sin nature from Adam.

For that to be true God would have had to put in in each baby as it is being formed in the womb.

We all sinned after we got here and will be held accountable for sins that we have committed not Adam's sin.

Sin doesn't start outside of us.

It did with me because God did not put sin in me when He created me.

After I was born I was eventually influenced by sin around me and started sinning myself.

The effects of a sinful world doesn't create but enhances what is already in us

Speak for yourself.

If you believe you were created to be a sinner then you will never be able to overcome sin through Jesus and you'll go to hell because you'll continually live in sin and not be able to received the new nature that comes when one is born again

You obviously don’t know the difference between sin and sin nature. You also don’t know the difference between formed and created. What you describe is the heresy of pelagianism. But hey believe what you want troll. Go argue your 5th century heresy with the Bible.

Feel free to believe the lie of the devil that God created you as a sinner claiming God put sin nature in to when he created you in yo momma's womb.

Feel free to stop acting like an immature child. Go troll on Reddit or somewhere and come back when you’re better.

the conception of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ is one of the things we we know only "through faith" ... which (to me) is not the same as understanding through intellectual understanding ...

We know also by what the word of God says?

lots of folks know what the word of God says ... it's one thing to know what it says (intellectual understanding) ... and quite another to believe what God's Word says (know/understand through faith).

Some examples of "intellectual understanding" of Scripture are found in the gospels ... the pharisees, sadducees, elders, etc., etc., knew a lot of Scripture, but they did not believe Scripture, which is why they rejected their Messiah when He came.

Yes, because sin affects a person's chemistry, so the HS gave the zygote of Jesus clean genes.
Implanting a zygote, or at least a egg, would certainty be necessary with Elizabeth since she was barren, or lacking any gametes, and both her and Zacharias were "now well stricken in years when she conceived. Unlike the male, the female is born with all the gametes they will ever have during their life span. While the LORD had been reportedly opening wombs since the days of Sarai, the LORD does not violate the laws of nature.
Surely "overshadowed" does not mean "had sex with"!
Of course it doesn't mean sexual intercourse, the birth of Jesus was based upon this principle. While his mother was married to Joseph, before their seed had opened the womb, the Holy Ghost had put the breath of life into the child and the Woman was found with a child of the LORD. Overshadow is to cloak, as in "I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.”

The Lord creates the laws of nature, which miracles violate, including implanting a gamete in Liz and a clean zygote in Mary.

I see the slow ones are out late tonight

If you are born as perfect and neutral as Adam was, why did Jesus have to be born of a virgin to bypass the seed of man? If any human could be born without a sin nature, then the virgin birth was unnecessary. Are you claiming your birth was as pure as the Christ's?

I'm not denying that revelation is imperative. But that is God's part. We can't impart to ourselves revelation. We can read and understand scripture, much of which is plain.
And if you read through my posts, you will find that I believe revelation by Christ is imperative, and so much so that I have been called a gnostic at times.

" And YOU hath He quickened, who was dead in trespasses and sin; Wherein in time past YOU walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Among whom WE ALL had our conversation (manner of life) in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind; and were BY NATURE the children of wrath, even as others." Eph. 2:1-4 Yes, we ALL, even YOU, by nature, the nature we were ALL BORN WITH, were children of wrath, selfish and rebellious. By receiving Christ as our Savior we were BORN AGAIN with a new nature, when the Holy Spirit took up residence within us. God set in motion PROCREATION. He doesn't create a baby, He put within man and woman what was needed to procreate children , a tree has seeds to procreate, and everything else in nature also, when He rested on the seventh day He was finished creating, His works of creation is done. He knew the end from the beginning and created enough air, water, earth, and everything else man would ever need. There is enough of everything on earth that, if we truly loved our fellow man, no one would have to starve, die of thirst, etc., etc. If Jesus could not sin what was the struggle about in the garden of Gethsemane? So much so that He sweated blood. Remember, Adam didn't have a sin nature either. Could it be that the Last Adam passed the test that the first Adam failed? Thank You Jesus!

Scripture is revelation from God (Gal 1:12). When we live according to what we know / understand / believe in Scripture, we are living by revelation (what God has revealed = revelation). And, yes, agree that much of what is written in Scripture is plain or clear.

And if you read through my posts, you will find that I believe revelation by Christ is imperative, and so much so that I have been called a gnostic at times.
I don't know why folks label others. There's a day coming when every idle word will be accounted for. I believe what God tells me in His Word ... He is my Father and He calls me His beloved child. I believe that and let the name-calling/labeling go to the pit where it belongs.
