Jesus has commanded that we pray for our enemies. That we bless them. All Christians in the whole world need to pray for the good of our enemies. "By doing this, you heap hot goals of fire one their head." And when that happens, it will not be our fault. The only thing we did was pray blessings into their life.
The enemy does prayer too. But they are cursing us. They are hurting our finances, sending death demons after us, stealing or peace, having condemnation put on us, and many many other things too.
We must do what Jesus commanded, because by doing this, God steps in. And when we do pray to Jesus, give him thanks. Singing songs or playing some music.
A single christian can pray to Jesus for the entire world.
All the glory, praise and honor belongs to Jesus.
Mat 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.
Rev 13:10 He that leadeth into captivity shall go into captivity: he that killeth with the sword must be killed with the sword. Here is the patience and the faith of the saints.
Mat 5:38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth:
Mat 5:39 But I say unto you, That ye resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also.
We resist evil spiritually but we do not resist evil physically.
The world fights physically for their beliefs to preserve them and extend them.
They do not exercise love and mercy in that situation.
Since it is a spiritual salvation we do not focus on the well being of the flesh concerning persecution.
The saints beliefs are preserved and extended without them fighting for God's ways will prevail when He puts down the wicked.
Mat 5:43 Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy.
Mat 5:44 But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;
Mat 5:45 That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust.
Mat 5:46 For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same?
Mat 5:47 And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so?
Mat 5:48 Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.
Mat 26:51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and smote off his ear.
Mat 26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again thy sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.
We pray, bless, do good to them, and feed and clothe our enemies for the saints are to be different than the world.
The Father rains on the just and unjust and cares about the wicked and wants them to be saved and we have to have the same attitude.
Also the saints fighting, and persecuting, to extend the kingdom of God does not save them for they will bow the knee to save their skin but their heart will not be in it.
The Roman Catholic Church did not get that memo and how many people did not believe but went along to avoid persecution.
We are not to extend the kingdom of God by physical force.
In the Old Testament the Jews were permitted to fight physically to preserve their land and get rid of the heathens structures and idols of their false gods.
The saints are not allowed to do that.
Isa 31:4 For thus hath the LORD spoken unto me, Like as the lion and the young lion roaring on his prey, when a multitude of shepherds is called forth against him, he will not be afraid of their voice, nor abase himself for the noise of them: so shall the LORD of hosts come down to fight for mount Zion, and for the hill thereof.
Isa 31:5 As birds flying, so will the LORD of hosts defend Jerusalem; defending also he will deliver it; and passing over he will preserve it.
The Jews who do not accept the New Testament can still fight physically concerning their homeland.
The 1967 6 day war which Israeli fighter pilots like birds flying paved the way to win that war and they took control of Jerusalem.
Israeli troops captured the Old City and the Western Wall for the first time in 2000 years, described by officials as a reunification of the city.
Israel quickly moved to integrate the eastern part of the city, significantly expanding its borders.
The saints are not to fight physically and turn the other cheek.
This will be a problem for some people claiming Christianity.
For in the world they did not like to take any crap, brawlers, arrogant, and proving themselves.
And now they got to take crap from a 96 pound pencil neck geek.
Oh the shame and humiliation in a public display to take verbal and physical abuse from those they would trash and to show who is the tough guy.
However we were in the world engaged in sin will give us the most trouble as a Christian but by the Spirit we can overcome.
Some people will fail but will be able to endure better when the world persecutes the saints for it is done collectively all saints involved so they are not singled out humiliating them that they fought against in the world.
The world will know you are the greatest in due time.
One saint in a glorified body could take out the whole world.
