OSAS is a meaningless debate because it assumes a person is saved immediately upon believing. According to Jesus' parable, a person is saved after they persevere and endure. Luke 8:11-15
One cannot yield to the Spirit if one is quenching or grieving Him.
And loss of salvation quenches the Spirit.
I have read a lot of this thread but I might have missed something. Did anyone talk about whether someone who fell away was saved in the first place?

This Scriptural concept is very foreign to the OSAS group. We might as well text in another language….

Many times.
Loss of salvation or not really saved is the manifestation of falling away, falling from Grace or walking away.
Saved/sons/children of God, but completely out of fellowship with the Spirit.
There are definitely tares, but IMO there are very few on this forum......Just mislead believers.
Yes, I think they've about covered all bases and maybe even alluded to what you just said about Luke8 and salvation, but who knows, we're only just a bit over 10k posts.

That's the strawman the OSAS are required to go to because they must protect their false doctrine at all costs

Jesus could have avoided the Cross and just told everyone to avoid sin.

Salvation is to eventually bring happiness and joy with it...

If we are to live a life of always having to endure?
It is because of false teachings that can not render God's grace and power needed to be made happy in the Devil's world.
