I, Nakul Mohan, a native of India, humbly present my testimony of faith and belief. I was born into a Hindu family and, from my earliest years, I was engaged in the traditional practice of idol worship, revering deities represented in physical form, as is common within that religious framework.

My early life was marked by deep hardship and adversity. I have no memory of my mother, and after the passing of my father, my circumstances became even more difficult. I was subjected to neglect and harsh treatment by my stepmother, who showed little compassion toward me. I was often forced to remain outside the house and had to rely on neighbors for food. These experiences caused me great emotional and physical suffering.

Eventually, I left my home and began working as a housekeeper. Although I was well educated, I had no other choice, as this work provided me with shelter and basic necessities. During this period, I continued my previous religious practices.

A significant turning point in my life came when I reconnected with a woman named Kima, whom I had known in the past. Through an unexpected conversation on Telegram, she became a source of support and care during a very difficult time in my life. She helped me when I was ill, gave me a place to stay, and introduced me to the Christian faith, as she belongs to a Baptist community.

Under her guidance, I began to learn about Jesus Christ and study the Holy Bible. At first, it was difficult for me to believe and accept these teachings. However, one verse deeply touched my heart: “Ask, and it shall be given to you; seek, and you shall find; knock, and the door shall be opened to you.” Encouraged by these words, I prayed sincerely to Jesus Christ. What followed was an experience I can only describe as miraculous. My prayers were answered, and I was filled with peace, joy, and a sense of purpose that I had never experienced before.

Since that moment, I have continued to study the Scriptures and grow in my faith. It has now been more than two years since I began following Jesus Christ, and my life has been transformed in many ways. However, I still seek deeper understanding and guidance so that I may continue to grow in my faith and better understand the Word of God.

I humbly ask for guidance and support from those who can help me continue this spiritual journey.

Thanks for sharing the bible verse.

Thanks you my brother
The Christian life is not easy. Only one person has lived it to God's satisfaction. And that is Jesus Himself. Be assured that Jesus lives in you to be all that God requires you to be. Be patient with yourself. The Christian life is a marathon, not a sprint. You may have times of trial and difficulty. God allows these to teach us to depend on Jesus and not ourselves. We do not enjoy trials, but they are a blessing, even they do not seem like it at the time.

Be diligent in studying God's word. Pray about all decisions, including what seems to be natural, such as where you work. Never forget that Jesus loves you enough to die in your place. We all have doubts from time to time. Make God's word your authority, not your thoughts and feelings. Ask God to give you the Spirit of Wisdom and Revelation. God is pleased to make Himself known to us.

Thank you so much for your words. They truly touched my heart.

My life has been full of pain and struggles, but now I understand that God was leading me even in those dark moments. I am still learning every day to trust Jesus and not depend on myself. Sometimes I feel weak and confused, but I hold on to His promises.

I believe the trials in my life are shaping me and bringing me closer to Him. Even when it is hard, I know Jesus is with me, and that gives me peace.

I will continue to read God’s Word, pray, and seek His guidance in everything. I am so grateful that Jesus loves me and gave His life for me.

Please keep me in your prayers as I continue this journey of faith.

Revelation 21:1-8
New International Version
21 Then I saw “a new heaven and a new earth,” for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. 2 I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. 3 And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Look! God’s dwelling place is now among the people, and he will dwell with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. 4 ‘He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death’ or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.”
5 He who was seated on the throne said, “I am making everything new!” Then he said, “Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true.”
6 He said to me: “It is done. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. To the thirsty I will give water without cost from the spring of the water of life. 7 Those who are victorious will inherit all this, and I will be their God and they will be my children. 8 But the cowardly, the unbelieving, the vile, the murderers, the sexually immoral, those who practice magic arts, the idolaters and all liars—they will be consigned to the fiery lake of burning sulfur. This is the second death.”

Welcome RaphaelX, it sounds like you experienced some of the worst practioners of Hinduism. Unfortunately, it is possible to find similar behavior in some self-proclaimed Christians. But I am glad you found a good Christian friend who has helped guide you to Christ.

Thank you for your kind and understanding words.

Yes, I have faced many painful situations in my life, but now I understand it was not only about religion, but about people and their actions. Those experiences hurt me deeply, but they also pushed me to search for truth.

I am truly grateful that God brought the right person into my life at the right time. She cared for me, stood by me in my lowest moments, and guided me toward Jesus Christ. Through her, I did not just learn about faith—I experienced love, compassion, and truth.

I believe God used even my worst circumstances to bring me closer to Him. Today, I am still learning and growing, and I am thankful that He never left me, even when I did not know Him.
