Ramon is measuring between the left hand and the right hand. "Realistic" is found in understanding the distance between two extreme ends; and finally accepting himself inbetween the two ends. Jesus uses a similar model by parable language; teaching us who we are and why we are that way in God's sight.

I've found NO GOOD IN MY FRIDGE!!

I even searched my own cupboards and pantry. The Lord showed me whats in there and it was "NO GOOD!!" So, what do I eat? What do I scrounge up for dinner? What good food is in my fridge? NONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
