Ephesians 2 is not preaching faith alone.

So how’s your streak of perfectly righteousness going? Had any sin’s lately? Did you make sure to mark them on your calendar?
So, how's your streak of continued unrighteousness going? Since you always have sins lately and coming. No need to make them on a calendar, or you can just mark any day on the calendar. Until the grave.

Heb{9:27}
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

God said, "My strength is made perfect in weakness" and so I would think that, by that, we might get a better idea of what works perfecting faith would mean.
True. It means that God's grace is help not to sin in times of temptation, so that only by His grace can any man do good and not evil, by His grace through faith in Jesus Christ.

Heb 4:14
For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Heb 2:18
For in that he himself hath suffered being tempted, he is able to succour them that are tempted.

No one doing evil by temptation has any strength with the Lord, much less being made perfect in evil-doing.

So, how's your streak of continued unrighteousness going? Since you always have sins lately and coming. No need to make them on a calendar, or you can just mark any day on the calendar. Until the grave.

Heb{9:27}
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
I love how you just assume everyone else other than you and your little perfectionist cult just continue to sin all the time. So do you get you’re doctrine from Daniel Warner or one of the others?

I love how you just assume everyone else other than you and your little perfectionist cult just continue to sin all the time. So do you get you’re doctrine from Daniel Warner or one of the others?
So, now here is another straight question for faith-alone justifiers not to answer:

Do you not sin daily? Are there days by your faith-alone, where you do no sin against Christ?

The other one once again is:

Are you justified by your faith-alone, when you are also committing sin against Christ?

There's also a third come up:

Can anyone who has faith in Christ alone, ever be judged as unsaved by their conduct and actions?

Salvation is a free gift and you must accept that.

Salvation is only by the grace of God through our Lord Jesus Christ alone.

If you think for one moment that a good work justifies you before God almighty.

Then you have disqualified yourself from salvation.

So, someone having the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone, can be judged unsaved. Their conduct can disqualify them from having the free gift of salvation by faith in Christ alone. Or, that free gift is take away due to the judgment of works.

Any other faith-alone justifiers agree? Anyone having faith in Christ alone can ever be judged unsaved, and cannot have the free gift of salvation by faith in Jesus Christ alone?

I’m confused. You say you understand what “saved by faith alone” means but you can’t explain what it means?
Your confusion is not my problem, you understand that right? I'll answer AGAIN, it means you're horribly confused. This is supposed "bible believing" tactic 37, focus on the person not the topic. You have no idea how many times ive ridden this bull in this rodeo with you cowboys. I actually had one of you cowboys tell me faith alone must be true because the word faith appears by itself in many passages of scripture. That person was uniquely touched. I suspect you are as well.

You commented on my question to ndesk. So I did in fact ask you a question which you answered with a question which I answered with another question. I thought we were playing question for question game. Did you want to answer the original question or are you just tired of playing the game?
Ha ha, by this time idk who said what! 😬

Not without repentance form dead works, nor for justification with dead works.
You are resistant to the understanding that salvation is a free gift.

We are saved only by grace through believing in Jesus Christ.

I have over 100 verses in the N.T that confirm this.

Your confusing the foundation of this believing in Christ's atonement on the cross for us.

With the confirmation of the sincerity of your faith with a good work.

There is an immense difference between establishing the sincerity of your faith with a good work.

And the divine reconciliation that Jesus completed for us.

Here are some verses that clearly establish the sole qualification for eternal life.

John 3:15
So that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life.

John 3:16
For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall
not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:18
He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because
he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:36
He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life,
but the wrath of God abides on him.

John 5:24
Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and
does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 6:40
For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have
eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day.

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies.

Your attempting to turn the free gift of salvation by the good grace of Jesus Christ.

Into a terrifying Christian walk of wondering whether your good works are good enough.

Why would Paul call it a free gift when salvation requires endless good works?

Romans 6:23
For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

You are resistant to the understanding that salvation is a free gift.

We are saved only by grace through believing in Jesus Christ.

For salvation to truly be a free gift as you say - with it being free - would a belief in Christ be a requirement to receiving it?
And if it is a requirement, then would that make it not free?

Heb{9:27}
It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
No one can accuse another of sin because that is utter hypocrisy.

You are a stubborn and disobedient people no matter how righteous you think you are.

We were only ever saved by the grace of God.

Everyone was offered the free gift salvation by Jesus Christ alone.

We stand in the grace of God for our salvation and that is the bottom line.

Romans 3:24
Being justified as a gift by His grace through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus;

Romans 5:2
Through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand;
and we exult in hope of the glory of God.

A free gift granted to anyone who accepts that free gift.

The mechanism required being that acceptance of that free gift.

The whole concept of grace means it is available in gift form for anyone who receives it.

Hmmm. To me, in the perfect sense, a truly free gift means no prerequisites whatsoever associated to the receiving of it. Anything imposed upon its receiver in order to obtain it means that it wasn't free, because if it isn't accepted, then they won't get it and it's not a gift. In human terms what you say is true, but with God, when He said "free", I think He meant completely and entirely free.
IOW, to those whom it is given, it is given in its totality with nothing whatsoever required from them to receive it - that it is just simply given to them.

That is exactly what grace means.

We know from Romans that the free gift is given by grace.

Therefore, both Jew and Gentile are recipients of Christ's grace not offered to only the Jews.

To understand what "by grace" really means is to unlock the free treasure offered to all.

If there was a prerequisite then the gift is a restricted gift.

We will not tolerate that kind of talk.

If I understood you correctly, I thought you said that the free gift must first be "accepted". By definition, wouldn't the requirement to accept it be a prerequisite to obtaining it?

Any effort by us would be in the rejection of that free gift, a stubborn refusal of grace,
a concerted denial of the truth.

The free gift is sitting underneath the Christmas tree and it's all yours rogerg.

You still didn’t explain what “saved by faith alone” means. I’ll take that as you don’t understand. You and atg should be good friends. Maybe he’ll let you join his perfectionist cult. Have you ever actually rode a bull. I used to when I was young. You should try it. It’s a great adrenaline rush.

Why do you need a prerequisite?

What's the issue that you see?
