Do not exclude that in the O.T a Gentile needed to be living in Israel, to join the old covenant.Because it exposes the incoherence of their position.
For a male Gentile that had to sojourn in Israel and be circumcised.
You omitted the food laws.
They also strongly enforce aspects of the 'ceremonial law' as they call it.
Gentiles were never under the law.
Gentile nations were never members of the old covenant.
The law of Noah tells us strongly that Gentiles never had the sabbath.
The first commandment in context tells us that the Jews were set free from slavery.
It does not say the Gentiles were set free from slavery in Egypt.
The law is not being attacked at all.
We are told by God who the law was given to in codified form and that was Israel.
The God of Israel who said remember the Sabbath in the OT, before He was crucified, buried, and resurrected from the dead. Since then in His NT, He has never said remember the Sabbath. Though it's still good to do so.
Of course, Remembering the Sabbath of old is not commanding a sabbath.
And so, that's why your congregation, like any other, only remembers the old Sabbath, but does not command it. All Christians are free to also keep a sabbath day or rest for themselves by choice, if possible. If not, none the worse nor better.
And so, all this talk was just about exhorting remembrance of the OT Sabbath, and extolling the benefits today, if possible to keep one?
For some reason, I thought this was another hypocritical group commanding to keep a sabbath, that their own congregation does not themselves keep as by law.
Oh well. I certainly do remember the Sabbaths of old Israel, as well as the other things written of them in Scripture. And though I don't work on Sundays anymore, since I retired from the military, I just count it a church day. I rest daily when I'm not working, sleeping, and praying in Christ Jesus.

But you also tripped over the law.
Where did any of you answer the question about your congregational practice. I haven't seen one yet. All I've seen is a bunch of continued sidestepping rubbish about a sabbath. Nothing about your congregational practice of it.

It's a waste of time looking for an answer to the question, and only getting more blathering nonanswer.
Until one of you answers honestly, then you are hypocrites that do not keep your own sabbath as a congregation, but only by free will if possible.
Your hypocrisy is doubly exposed by not answering the challenge to your congregational practice.
It's really simple. Does your congregation command against any employment, career, contract requiring work on your sabbath days? If any member continues working on your sabbath days, rather than immediately quit their employment/career, or break a contract, does you congregation shun them as sabbath-breakers?
Other than yes/no, anything else about your 'sabbath' is just more hypocritical rubbish.
What Matthew's version of the words of Jesus or Luke's version of what Jesus said.
Matthew's gospel is the Jewish perspective a Jewish gospel.
Luke's version is a Gentile version of what applies to the Gentiles.
Might be the reason why the legalists always quote Matthew's gospel and not Luke's gospel.

I meant to say that God never commanded a Sabbath day to man, until the children of Israel after departing Egypt, and coming to the wilderness of Sin. Nor did He ever command any man to remember the sabbath day, until the children of Israel at Mt Sinai.
And so, yes, by Hebrew, God sabbathed on the 7th day...Until the children of Israel in the wilderness, Scripture does record any man knowingly sabbath on a 7th day.
We of course read of people resting at will in the Bible before Exodus 16, but not in context of any 7th day.
The 'mystery of iniquity' means that the identity of the 'man of sin' is unknown.
So when do we know the identity of that 'man of sin'?
Paul states the following and read it ever so carefully.
2 Thessalonians 2:7-8
For the mystery of lawlessness is already at work; only he who now restrains will do so until he is taken out
of the way. Then that lawless one will be revealed whom the Lord will slay with the breath of His mouth and
bring to an end by the appearance of His coming.
The man of sin cannot be known now and we cannot know until the man of sin is revealed, it is a mystery.
The man of sin is revealed right at the end at the return of Jesus.
Do you understand that the identity of that man of sin is a mystery.
We know the Roman Church is the Harlot.
But the Harlot is not the First Beast both have completely different identities.
The name "harlot" gives the game away because she boasts that she is the true bride of Christ.
That has been the great claim of the Roman Catholic Church through Christian history.
Revelation 18:7
To the degree that she glorified herself and lived sensuously, to the same degree give her torment and
mourning; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as a queen and I am not a widow, and will never see mourning.’
Where is the 'false prophet' in your eschatology?
The false prophet runs the show in the end times.
The false prophet is the one who commands that you get the mark.
They are quite sure it was there somewhere, just not recorded in Scripture. It was no doubt an unspoken rule that men practiced at the time, until God made it by commandment.
It's no doubt the unspoked sabbaths of old beginning with Adam and Eve. The modern sabbath-commanders today remember those sabbaths well, and talk about them all the time, I'm sure.
1Co 6:18 speaks in the context of The Temple of the Holy Spirit
Flee from sexual immorality. Every other sin a man can commit is outside his body, but he who sins sexually sins against his own body.

If a priest’s daughter defiles herself by prostituting herself, she profanes her father; she must be burned in the fire.

There have been many whom asserted that "the Holy Spirit said such and such" but wasn't speaking by the Holy Spirit. Is this the blasphemy that Mark 3:29 is speaking of?
The sabbath commandment given in Exodus 20 is codified law.
If the sabbath commandment was given in Genesis then, it was not codified law.
There is no record of a sabbath law in Genesis.
The sabbath commandment was not given to the forefathers but only to Israel.
Codified law carries penalties and is written law and that appears in Exodus.
It sounds like you believe that when Jesus said "keep MY commands" it was just another way of saying keep MOSES' commands (by keeping Shabbat and all the other laws of that covenant). Had He said that I doubt if any of the rabbis would have objected, not even those who ultimately crucified Him. After all, had not the rabbis ALWAYS told the Jewish people to keep the commandments of God as well as all the "traditions of the elders" that had been passed down to them?
However that was not the Messianic Message that had been prophesied by Isaiah:
6 Therefore My people will know My name; they will know on that day that I [the Messiah] am He who speaks.
Here I am!” 7 How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of those who bring GOOD NEWS, who proclaim PEACE, who bring good tidings,who PROCLAIM SALVATION who say to Zion, “YOUR GOD REIGNS!”

The Kingdom of Heaven would come near in the person of the Messiah who would call people to repentance and salvation if they believed. This is the gospel, the good news of salvation which had never been heard before Jesus. Just telling people to obey the Law more perfectly would not save them because their problem was more fundamental - they lacked spiritual life. However, the Son possessed the life of the Father and He was granted the "authority to give it to us" (John 17:2-3, 1 John 5:12-13, )
I would classify "the Holy Spirit said such and such" as false prophecy.
Blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is more about stating that a church or a person, is empowered by the prince
of demons.
The Pharisees accused Jesus of being empowered by the prince of demons.
A false prophet only receives a death penalty where as the blasphemy of the Spirit, is a much more serious offense.
The Ten Commandments is the commandments of God or what God calls “My commandments”. Exo20:6 You can find them in Exo20:1-17. It’s also called the law of God and the Testimony Exo31:18 of God and Jesus used it interchangeably with the Word of God Mat15:3-14 Mar7:7-13
Rom 7:7 What shall we say then? Is the law sin? Certainly not! On the contrary, I would not have known sin except through the law. For I would not have known covetousness unless the law had said, “You shall not covet.”
There are several laws in Scripture, the commandments of God, the Ten Commandments is the only law that God Himself wrote Deut4:13 Exo31:18 and placed inside the ark of His covenant. Exo25:16 Exo40:20
Moses wrote another law in a book, which was places outside the ark Deut41:24-26 that contained everything but the Ten Commandments including circumcision and the handwritten ordinances 2Chron 33:8 that Paul often speaks of.
This would contradict Jesus who plainly said He did not come to destroy/abolish the law and He fulfilled what He promised to do to magnify His law Isa8-:21 which means greater, not smaller why He plainly taught not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments Mat5:19-30 which is the complete opposite of that the law is abolished.
It’s in our Bibles that in is the transgression of the law 1John3:4 and continuing in that path of sinning and breaking the law of God leads us down the wrong path John2:4 Heb10:26-30 Mat7:21-23
Let’s look at the law its speaking about…
Eph 2:11Therefore remember that you, once Gentiles in the flesh—who are called Uncircumcision by what is called the Circumcision made in the flesh by hands— 12that at that time you were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope and without God in the world. 13 But now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ. 14For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, 15& having abolished in His flesh the enmity, that is, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, so as to create in Himself one new man from the two, thus making peace, 16and that He might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, thereby putting to death the enmity. 17And He came and preached peace to you who were afar off and to those who were near. 18;For through Him we both have access by one Spirit to the Father.
This is not saying at the Cross we can now worship other gods and start stealing from our neighbor. It’s speaking of circumcision- because it was a requirement to get the cure for our sins in the OT by taking an animal sacrifice to an earthy temple for the forgiveness of sins. Jesus took away than enmity and wall of separation of circumcision. Both Jews and Gentiles and anyone can gain access to forgiveness of sins through the death of Jesus Christ through repentance, which means a sorry heart, a change of mind and direction.
Does this mean we can continue breaking the law of God?
Do we want this response at Christ’s Second Coming?
May 7:23 And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Those without law).
Because Jesus very plainly taught not to break or teach others to break the least of these commandments quoting directly from the Ten Commandments. Mat5:19-30
If we belong to Christ we are not going to be sinning and committing adultery or coveting or breaking the least of God’s commandments Mat5:19-30
Yes, the people broke the old covenant so it voided it out so God made a New Covenant on better promises Heb8:6 and now writes His laws in the hearts and minds of His New Covenant believers. Sadly not everyone accepts the law of God Rom8:7-8 and have not entered this covenant by faith,
This is sad but true, faith establishes the law, so we abandon the law we are abandoning faith in Christ those who do not subject themselves to the law of God cannot please God Rom8:7-8. Did Jesus go around stealing, or profaning the LORD’s name or breaking the LORDS Sabbath, or coveting His neighbor. We need to have the same faith as Jesus, not just in Jesus but of Jesus.

Your judgment noted but only God can righteously judge 24million people that you have never met. How we judge others is how God will judge us.
Romans 7:1–7 teaches that believers are “released from the law” in the sense that, through Christ’s death, they have died to their old relationship with it—just like a person is freed from a marriage covenant when a spouse dies. This doesn’t mean the law is abolished or sinful; Paul clearly says it reveals what sin is (v.7). Rather, we are no longer under the condemnation of the law. Instead, we now belong to Christ and serve God in “newness of the Spirit,” meaning obedience flows from a transformed heart rather than external obligation. The law is holy, just and good Rom7:12, the law was never the issue, its always been the hardened heart of man not subjecting themselves to the law of God Rom8:7-8
