And, apparently, you are UNABLE to reply to all those verses I gave you BY JESUS stating that our works save us.
You should read them over a few times until you UNDERSTAND what they mean for YOU.
You should also read John 13:35 a few times until it sinks in.

When it says...this is the work of God..., do you see this as the work that God expects of us or the work that God actually performs?
well, it's in reply to, "what must we do, to do the works of God?" - - which is itself a reply to, "work for that which does not perish, instead of that which perishes"
so it is tacit, that "to do the works of God" means, to do what God requires - - how can they be asking, how do we do what God alone can do?
and as such, the answer to it is not "resurrect yourself" but believe that He will do it, not is it "make atonement for your sins" but believe that He has done so.
the other understanding isn't lost though, because He calls us here those the Father has given to Him, not those who gave themselves to Him - - both meanings are present, but the primary thing from context is, what work does God require? He requires belief.
Jesus often in answering questions answers not the one asked, but the one that should have been asked. In other words, His answer is like another answer...with men it is impossible, but not so with God. But I do agree that the context is the question...what must we do? But nuanced further...what we must do is impossible apart from God.
I've been looking at the new covenant lately, and specifically in Ezekiel 36:26-27. This covenant, I believe, is between God the Father and God the Son. In these verses are the promises of that covenant. And since that covenant is fulfilled, God is obligated to give the beneficiaries of that covenant new hearts and the Spirit. Those beneficiaries, I believe, are those whose names are written in the Lamb's book of life before the foundation of the world. And what we see in history is the fulfillment of this promise to the end that the knowledge of the glory of the Lord will fill the earth as the waters cover the seas.

Yes, in John 6:29, Jesus uses a paradoxical play on words to change the viewpoint of the audience's request for works. Jesus clarifies that the work God requires is not a system of works in order to merit eternal life, but the act of believing in Jesus in whom God has sent.
Jesus taught as Prophet and Teacher under the old covenant. If salvation comes through works, then Jesus died for nothing. If you are trusting in your works to save you, then you are going to hell.

Please post some scripture that states that it is not necessary to do good works as Jesus taught.
Maybe those who only give mental assent are wrong?

I full well understand that those that believe that obeying God is not important or necessary

I have a theory that people who are so consistently rude, arrogant and obnoxious have no other place in which to express themselves. Not like your neighbors will appreciate it. Not like your church will tolerate it. Not like they have probably been booted out of other forums. Not like anyone would put up with it. Who knows....they may already be missing a few front teeth from prior attempts at being a smart mouth in person.
I would just like to extend another thank you to the foresight of the forum operator in blessing us with an ignore button. I mean you don't hold a conversation with a mosquitoe. You slap it and forget it bothered you.
if i may preempt your next attack on The Faith, Romans 4:5 does not teach that one should not carry out and do the works God has prepared, but that those works are secondary and wholly separate from soteriology.

this is because of this simple fact. They misunderstand the scope, intent and target of the mosaic law and the finished work of Christ on the Cross. (c.f. 2 Cor 3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.) They can't see the error.

i would say rather Christ the Son is the Executor of the covenant, not the other bound party. He never had an heart of stone - - but we did.
