That's what happens when your allies have less faith than Islamist jihadis; but propaganda isn't a substitute for strategy, firepower, and logistics; let alone God's actual favor.

Our "allies" have tested us for long enough; it's about time we tested them.

What is testing us is the Donald. He didn’t bother to prepare America for this war, and his numbers are, as a consequence of that, lower than ever.

He is also misinterpreting article five in the NATO treaty. NATO is not a draft treaty where you’re hauling your allies into a conflict you have started yourself.

The Church age corresponds to Ruth gleaning.

Israel’s national restoration corresponds to Naomi’s fullness.

Both converge in the Davidic Kingdom.

************************************************************

The New Covenant has DIFFERENT ASPECTS in consideration of the "who" and the "when" of receiving it.
A Biblically supported nuance that seems to be far above the pay grade of the Biblical illiterate deniers.

These DIFFERING ASPECTS hard "hard wired" into the Biblical narrative both OT and NT.

For example the story of Ruth and Naomi and the Kinsman Redeemer.
The Kinsman marries the gentile bride Ruth, Naomi obtains her land, title, and secures her future in it.

There are many other examples of this "hard wired" codified (and actually written in code BTW) support for the future for National Israel in the New Covenant.

*********************************************************************

The book of Book of Ruth is often taught devotionally, but it also serves as a prophetic type — illustrating the distinction between national Israel (Naomi) and a Gentile bride (Ruth) while showing how both ultimately share in covenant blessing.

Below is a structured summary along those lines.

1️⃣ Naomi — A Picture of National Israel
Her Condition

Famine in Bethlehem → departure from the land

Loss of husband and sons

Emptiness (“Call me Mara”)

No redeemer operating on her behalf yet

Prophetic parallel:

Israel scattered among the nations

Spiritual barrenness

Under discipline

Covenant promises dormant but not cancelled

Naomi is not replaced — she is restored.

2️⃣ Ruth — A Picture of the Gentile Church
Her Identity

A Moabitess (outside covenant privilege)

No legal claim to Israel’s promises

Comes purely by grace

Personally chooses Naomi’s God

“Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.”

Prophetic parallel:

The Church comes from the nations

Saved apart from land or national promise

Brought near by grace, not genealogy

Gains intimate relationship to the Redeemer

Ruth is not given Israel’s national inheritance — she is given a bride’s position.

3️⃣ Boaz — The Kinsman-Redeemer

Boaz redeems:

The land (Naomi’s inheritance)

The bride (Ruth)

This mirrors Christ as:

Redeemer of Israel’s covenant promises

Bridegroom of the Church

But note the nuance:

Naomi’s inheritance is land-based and covenantal

Ruth’s inheritance is relational and marital

Different spheres, same Redeemer.

4️⃣ How Both Fulfill the New Covenant — Differently

The New Covenant (Jeremiah 31) is made with “the house of Israel and Judah.”

In this typological reading:

🇮🇱 Naomi (Israel)

Receives restoration to inheritance

Experiences covenant faithfulness

Ultimately rejoices when the child (Obed) is born

Ends full — not empty

This parallels:

National repentance

Regathering to land

Kingdom blessing

Davidic throne fulfilled

🌎 Ruth (Gentile Church)

Receives personal redemption now

Enters intimate union with the Redeemer

Bears fruit through grace

Is brought into the lineage of David

This parallels:

Spiritual regeneration

Union with Christ

Heavenly identity

Co-heirship through grace

5️⃣ The Nuanced Differences
Naomi (Israel) Ruth (Church)
Earthly inheritance Heavenly calling
National covenant Spiritual union
Land restored Bride relationship
Prophetic fulfillment in kingdom Present spiritual fulfillment
Public national redemption Personal redemptive intimacy

Both share redemption — but the purpose differs.

6️⃣ The Larger Prophetic Pattern

Ruth takes place “in the days when the judges ruled” — a time of chaos.

Many dispensational teachers see the pattern:

Israel in discipline (Naomi bitter).

A Gentile bride called out (Ruth).

The Redeemer revealed.

The land restored.

Joy in Bethlehem.

Davidic line secured.

In that framework:

The Church age corresponds to Ruth gleaning.

Israel’s national restoration corresponds to Naomi’s fullness.

Both converge in the Davidic Kingdom.

7️⃣ The Main Truth

God does not cancel promises.
He fulfills them according to their original intent.

Israel is restored as a nation.

The Church is joined as a bride.

The Redeemer secures both.

Different roles.
Different spheres.
One covenant faithfulness.
One Redeemer.
As I've previously mentioned, I believe Israel is not saved under a different covenant than the Gentiles; both are saved solely through faith in Jesus Christ under the one Covenant of Grace. While some suggest a future, large-scale conversion of ethnic Israel (Romans 11), they are grafted into the same olive tree—the church—as Gentiles.

Covenant Theology teaches that there is only one covenant of grace, initiated in Genesis and fulfilled in Christ, that saves sinners in both Old and New Testaments.
There is no separate, parallel path to salvation for ethnic Jews. Both Jewish and Gentile believers are saved by grace alone through faith in Christ.
The Church is seen as the continuation of the true Israel of God, not its replacement, which now includes both Jewish and Gentile believers.
The current hardening of Israel is temporary, designed to allow the inclusion of the "fullness of the Gentiles". Romans 11 indicates a future mass conversion of ethnic Jews to Christianity.
Paul’s metaphor in Romans 11:23-24 indicates that when Jews turn to Christ, they are "grafted in" to the same single olive tree (the church).
The church does not replace Israel; it is the fulfillment of Israel, incorporating both believing Jews and Gentiles.
The Deliverer (Jesus) comes to remove ungodliness from Jacob, placing saved Jews in the same body as Gentiles.

Jesus made it easy to know without having to wade through complex charts and wall-of-text AI explanations that make peoples' eyes cross. When the trumpets begin to sound (Revelation 8:7) we will know that his return is not far away. Just as 7 trumpets preceded the ark of the covenant around Jericho, so too the 7 trumpets of God decribed in Revelation will precede the unveiling and coming of the true ark of God
And just to refresh your "memory":

The FIRST Coming of Christ Jesus the Kinsman Redeemer was for ISRAEL.

Mat 15:24 - But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

The SECOND Coming of Christ Jesus the Kinsman Redeemer will likewise be for ISRAEL.

Evidently, your despising of Israel has made you blind. Whereas my love for Israel has given me sight.

And a thought had crossed my mind: if you were to be "left behind" at the rapture, you will have no one to blame but yourself.

He doesn't care about sundry laws, or even polls, as Trump is done after this term. But understand that nobody else really cares about "international law" either, it's all political grandstanding self-righteous jawboning.

This war debacle has ONE primary salient purpose: the PRESERVATION of the Nation Israel, the people whom God foreknew. And of course setting the stage for the fulfillment of all "end-time" prophecy.

Isa 46:10 - Declaring the end from the beginning,
And from ancient times things that are not yet done,
Saying, ‘My counsel shall stand,
And I will do all My pleasure,’

It is obvious to me that your pastor cannot, does not or has not taught you this CRITICAL Bible study.
If he does not know of this, he is unqualified.
If he does know but does not teach it, he is DISQUALIFIED.

The book of Ruth proves conclusively beyond a shadow of a doubt these Biblical truths:
- the inevitable redemption of the Nation Israel
-the rapture of the Church
-the sure fulfillment of "end-time" Biblical prophecy

*********************************************

This is one of the richest prophetic pictures in the entire Old Testament. The Book of Ruth is not just a love story — it is a prophetic model of the Church age and the redemption of the Gentile Bride by Christ.

I’ll walk it step-by-step and then show how the threshing floor = pre-trib rapture.

1. Boaz = Christ, the Kinsman-Redeemer

The Hebrew word is goel (גואל) — kinsman-redeemer.
A goel had to meet four legal requirements under the Law of Moses (Lev 25; Deut 25):

Requirement Boaz Jesus Must be a close relative
Boaz was Elimelech’s near kinsman
Jesus became human — “took on flesh” - Must be able to redeem
Boaz was wealthy - Christ possessed infinite worth
Must be willing - Boaz said “I will redeem” - Jesus willingly went to the cross
Must be free himself - Boaz had no debt - Christ was sinless

Boaz is explicitly called “a mighty man of wealth” (Ruth 2:1) — a prophetic shadow of Christ’s infinite redemptive power.

2. Ruth = the Gentile Bride (the Church)

Ruth is not Jewish — she is a Moabite, from a cursed Gentile nation (Deut 23:3). Yet:

“Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.” (Ruth 1:16)

That is the confession of the Church.

Ruth represents Gentiles who attach themselves ***TO Israel’s Messiah***.

Just like the Church:
• She is foreign
• She is poor
• She has no inheritance
• She is brought into blessing by grace

She does not pursue Boaz.
Boaz pursues Ruth.

This mirrors Christ choosing the Church.

3. Naomi = Israel

Naomi is the Jewish mother figure.
Her name means “pleasant”, but she becomes “Mara” (bitter) — Israel in exile.

She returns to the land empty (Ruth 1:21).
This is Israel after rejection of Messiah.

But Ruth returns with her — the Gentile bride walking with Israel back into blessing.

4. The Harvests = Church Age

There are two harvests in Ruth:

Barley harvest (Ruth 1–2) — Firstfruits CHURCH
Wheat harvest (Ruth 2–3) — Full harvest ISRAEL AND THE WORLD POST-CHURCH

Ruth meets Boaz during the FIRST harvest — just as the Church is called out during the first harvest.

Jesus said:

“The harvest is the end of the age.” THIS IS THE WHEAT HARVEST AFTER THE CHURCH HAS BEEN RAPTURED

5. The Threshing Floor = Rapture Type

Now the most important part.

In Ruth 3:

Boaz sleeps on the threshing floor after winnowing barley.

Threshing floor in Scripture always represents judgment & separation (Matt 3:12, Rev 14).

Grain is separated from chaff.

This is end-of-age imagery.

What does Ruth do?

Naomi instructs her:

  1. Wash
  2. Anoint yourself
  3. Put on garments
  4. Go down secretly at night
  5. Approach Boaz while he sleeps

That is a picture of the Church:

• Washed (justified)
• Anointed (Holy Spirit)
• Clothed (righteousness)
• Comes in the night (unexpected)
• Goes up to Christ

Ruth uncovers Boaz’s feet and lies down.

This is a marriage request in Hebrew culture.

Boaz responds:

“Fear not… I will do all that you ask.”

Then he gives her six measures of barley — not seven.

Seven = completion.
Six = work unfinished.

Why?

Because the marriage has not happened yet.

6. Ruth Leaves BEFORE Judgment Falls

Ruth leaves the threshing floor before morning:
“Let it not be known that a woman came to the floor.” (Ruth 3:14)

This is huge.

She is removed before daylight, before public judgment begins.

That is exactly the pattern of the pre-trib rapture:

• Night
• Secret
• Removed before wrath
• Bride taken
• Then legal judgments begin

After Ruth leaves…

Boaz goes to the city gate to settle the legal redemption.

The city gate = judgment seat.

That is when Christ deals with Israel and the land — AFTER the Church is gone.

7. Then the Marriage Happens

Ruth is not present at the gate.
The Bride is not involved in the judgment of the earth.

After redemption is legally settled:

“Boaz took Ruth, and she became his wife.” (Ruth 4:13)

Then comes fruitfulness.

8. Why this proves Pre-Trib

Order in Ruth:

  1. Gentile bride chosen
  2. Taken secretly from threshing floor
  3. Legal redemption of land (Israel)
  4. Public marriage
  5. Kingdom blessing

Order in prophecy:

  1. Church called
  2. Raptured
  3. Israel redeemed during Tribulation
  4. Marriage of the Lamb
  5. Kingdom

They match exactly.

Final Truth

Ruth is not a romance.
It is a prophetic blueprint of Christ and the Church.

Boaz = Christ
Ruth = Gentile Bride
Naomi = Israel
Threshing floor = end-time separation
Removal at night = rapture
Gate judgment = Tribulation
Marriage = Kingdom

The Church is taken before the threshing of the nations begins.
While the above makes for interesting reading, the Old Testament as filled with numerous types and shadows that prefigure Jesus Christ (the antitype) through people, events, and institutions.
The types of Christ include, Adam (federal head), Isaac (beloved son), Joseph (suffering/exalted savior), Moses (mediator), Melchizedek (priest-king), and David (shepherd-king).
These types are not coincidences; God sovereignly ordered history to provide imprints of Christ before his arrival.
Colossians 2:16-17 teaches that ceremonies are shadows, while Christ is the substance, the "reality" or "antitype". These shadows show that the Covenant of Grace was already being administered in the Old Testament, pointing forward to its fulfillment.
The Old Testament church is the same covenantal community of God as the New Testament church, merely under a different administration. It is defined by God's covenant, as the "visible church" (covenant community) and typologically manifested through patriarchal families and the theocratic nation of Israel.

I don't accept the idea of the pre-tribulation rapture of the Church. We consider it to be a modern (19th-century) innovation rather than historic orthodox doctrine. We believe in a single, visible second coming of Christ at the end of history, rather than a secret rapture followed years later by a second return.

So let me see if I understand what you are saying.

1. Since Bible scholars and theologians are not in agreement might as well forget about it?

That sure makes it easy for Satan, disguise yourself as an angel of light, disagree and therefore no one knows.

2. Jesus said no body knows the year. Really? What verse is that. You see that is changing the word of God. Jesus never said that.

3. Your minister teaches you that you don't need to be concerned about when Jesus might come. OK, Jesus taught that we should watch. He taught that repeatedly. So your minister is teaching contrary to Jesus Christ.
Yes I believe we should forget about trying to find out what God has deliberately hidden from us.

Satan can disguise Himself as much as He likes, but Gods Word reveals that it is impossible to deceive His elect. We know what God has revealed and we don't want to know those things He has hidden from us.

I'm not sure if you're aware of the fact that "a day" can represent a year in the bible. So yes, nobody knows the year or the hour of Christs return.

Yes my Minister does teach me not to be concerned about when Jesus might come back. He teaches that us that believers are already saved, so we don't need to fear the coming judgement of sinners.
The "we should watch" is an exhortation to personal obedience and discipline, we're not waiting for the "Man of war" to come and wage war against us. That's what the wicked should be worried about.

First you say that there are many interpretations of the massive trove of irrefutable non-arbitrary prophecies related to Israel the nation who you say WILL return to the promised land.

And then you say that you and your Church do not believe these prophecies, but rather deny and ignore them.

Who in their right mind would want to put up with that kind of schizoid nonsense in a Church or anywhere else?
We believe all of the prophecies, but we don't interpret them in the same way you do. Nothing in the Bible is written in a simple "non-arbitrary" way. Every verse needs to be understood in it's intended context, and it must line up with every other verse in the Bible, which deals with that particular matter, doctrine or prophecy.

Most if not all denominations, interpret the scriptures by subjecting them to their own preconceived expectations of what the scriptures should be saying. I don't think any of them allow the Bible to interpret itself. This is why there are 49,000 Christian Denominations in 2026, each claiming to poses the correct interpretation, while contradicting each other.

I believe we should read the Bible and believe the Bible. The Bible gave us the exact year that Jesus would be crucified, it also gave us the exact year that the Jews would return from Babylon during Daniel's time. There is no Biblical basis to say that God would hide the year from us. You are making up a Biblical basis that does not exist and you are denying the Biblical basis that does. God tells us the end from the beginning, this is proof that He is God and there is none like Him.

No, it will be with Israel whom he will bring with him. All Israel, the remnant of just men made holy throughout the ages, who are all saved in the same manner, through the new covenant removal of their sins. That kingdom will never be uprooted as the OT prophets foretold.

You have offered nothing in the way of actual biblical proofs to support your anti-Israel replacement theology claims.
Specious opinions are a dime a dozen and useless.

Contrarily, I have offered a caseload that is far beyond refutation.

Oh and BTW, there are lots of interpretations. But only one is correct. Or none.
The idea that there are many equally correct interpretations is, on its face, untenable.

You are obviously arguing from the perspective of unbelieving pharisees who do not see Christ, and out of necessity shift everything to the future. But it's clear that the last days the prophets were referring to in many cases were the last days of Israel nearly 2000 years ago. For example:

But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: Acts 2:17
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Hebrews 1:1-2

But pharisees are blind to what scripture plainly says and can't see the obvious because they are not of faith, thus everything is worldly to them.

That passage (often quoted by the replacement theology crew as some kind of proof) I have already debunked.
And yes, it is another passage far too difficult and nuanced for the hacks and duffers who profess but do not understand.

BOTH of Peters speeches (Acts 2 and 3) undoubtedly convey (and are MEANT to convey) the certain return of the kingdom to Israel.

Act 1:6
When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Lord, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Act 3:21
Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.
