With the help of my hubby and good friends, I was able to go out into the woods mushroom picking.
Doing something like this is a rare and wonderful gift with my disabuilities. :)
I picked about 4 lbs of chantrelles, I was able to last 3 hours !:)
Thankyou dear Jesus for those who are so good and patient with me! :)
Also for such a wonderful day and lots of good mushrooms!

Awwww that sounds so fun! can I come with you next time? haha :)

God made me so happy today! He gave me peace after some days of distress, I finaly did what He wanted me to do, and I just turned all my worries over to Him. He is in charge, and im at peace :) Also, I saw a friend today whom i hadn't seen in about a year! Thanks Lord for all my blessings!
 
We went mushroom picking too! You and I picked in different woods together! Fun!

My little guy ran back in the house to say: "Hurry Mommy, I need time to give you a hug when we get there!" :)
 
We have a naturalized area behind our house and the sun was shining through the dew on the trees as the sun rose this morning. It looked like diamonds sparkling on the trees. It was beyond words and a picture could never have captured it's beauty. God is such an artist!!

We picked chanterelles as well, but kept our eyes open for others edibles.
There were alot of people out picking where we went, mushroom hunting is becomeing popular. :)
My hubby and I have been driving around looking for more hidden areas, we hope to pick some king boletes sometime soon.
I found some mushrooms growing in my next door neighbor's yard, waiting on the spore print to see if they are honey mushrooms, but I think they will turn out to be clustered wood lovers,(not edible)
I really hope they are honey mushrooms as they are very good pickled.
We are still new at this mushroom hunting, just two years now, but Im studying everything I can get my hands on.
One has to be so, so, very careful about it all.
I do love the chanterelles, we hope to go again soon, since the season started so late, and is sure to be short.:)
If you are from here in wash, its strange to think you could have been hunting in the same area. :)

(1) I am happy that I can yet stand up and lift up my voice in prayer to God.
(2) I am happy that even 4 years without a job, no insurance, etc. that I have a roof over my head.
(3) I am happy that I have decent clothes to wear.
(4) I am happy that I have one truly faithful friend that supports me whenever in need, the individual is second to Jesus who is my first friend.
(5) being dirt poor and not knowing where money or food is going to come from, yet he has never left nor forsaken me.
(6) David said: I have never seen the righteous forsaken nor his seed begging bread. Thank God for his precious promises, that makes me happy!
 
My daughter and her husband gave me the ok to announce Im going to be a grandma in about six months!!!!
Thankyou Dear Jesus for the presious life that is your gift!!!!!

I'm sooo happy for you!!! My daughter will be having #2 in about 3 weeks...I will pray for your daughter and your unborn grandchild.

Today I am happy because...

- My loved ones and myself are alive and well :D
- I got 3 loads of laundry done!
- I discovered Christain Chat early this morning :)
- and I just am :p
 
I am happy to day, because finances are finially coming for our feeding project, i went to the karate class and i ate ate Mc D : )
