1000004824.jpgOn the topic of singleness in a world of tense relations, communities and businesses, it can create walls between us. I never really understood why God would use the word sin in single? I can only think its because its a chance into His loving grace He has for each other. In tackling tough subjects like a man needs a woman to get somewhere in life, while at the same time a man needs to get some where in life to have woman, why its not good for man to touch a woman and Jesus openly declaring no man is good, we need some clarity. In a single person's life this is on both sides of the gender and needs to be confronted through God's motives and goodness, not mans, even as man is found in the word woman. We need a profound freedom setting us free from legalism, rules and teaching taught by men to "Get Rid Of" the hindrences that keep us back from each other to identify the power of love, ourselves, the wars and what the true ministry of Jesus Christ is, perfection.

It's very possible, that single was derived from Latin/French, and it meant "the sing", or a loose interpretation of singing. Marriage on the other was derived from the word Mary and age, or loose interpretation, the suffering age. Mary means to suffer, and age means time frame. lol

Keep singing, until your ready to suffer. I'm guessing woman was combination word of, womb and man, which is incorrect. Woman is old English for wif, which meant female. I'm sure some might argue, that female is a hidden way of saying, Iron Man.

Anyways, I don't know. I'm thinking economics is causing divisions, in the grand scheme of things. I will leave it on that note.
 
Well if you take the sin out of single you're left with gle which sounds a lot like girl so I guess if you manage to stop sinning as a single you'll turn into a girl.

On a slightly more serious note (but not yet serious): God didn't put the word sin in single and he didn't put the word man in woman (though I'd be interested in a linguistic study of how many languages have a similar pattern with that last pair). English speakers did that. So it sounds like your problem is just that you speak English rather than some other language that doesn't have those unfortunate linguistic coincidences. I guess your only option is to learn a new language and move where they speak it as soon as you can.

And I should give some completely serious good advice, but I'm honestly having trouble understanding the point you're trying to make with your rambling other than you're tired of being lonely. Most of us have found that typing out conversations in this forum helps with the lonely so we can recommend that to you.

Couldn't you just call it being solo?

Isn't a solo artist someone who can hold their own?

People call mum's 'solo mums' if they are unmarried not 'single mum's and also 'solo dads'

So maybe this forum could change to the Solo Forum for those going Solo.

And solo is a musical term. You ain't preaching to the choir here...you are making a soliloquy

I could go on and on and mine my dictionary brain for all sorts of word associations but I am sure the peeps here have enough of me doing that. They can barely make sense of my ramblings as it is. lol

Highly appreciate your clarity, I have never thought of sing in single. I always determined the word to be in simularity with mingle. Dont mingle with sin instead get in the kingdom of heaven. There is a poem I wrote you can see if you like in the poem section about how the kingdom of heaven works by two sides just like relationships. For better or worse yet work at it, a Godly woman cannot forgive like God if you do not confess like God asks you. Sense God is Love and a friend loves at all times it should be the same between each other, she should mend just as he, gently instruct and in evidence, hold a quiet spirit when needed sense she is wisdom that should be spoken in timely matters. If unwholesome talk happens it is purpose of repentance.
Who could sing the most beautiful melodies and songs but those who have experience Gods grace, forgiveness and salvation.
The seal of redemption is much needed when loving each other.

Sounds like we have a commonality, the love for words. God gave me a goal, its kinda out of the mind for God goal but its having a relationship with words. Probably because God is the word and that Jason Upton's Ministry help enlighten how every word sent down from heaven echoes back until it succeeded in what He sent it to do. He sings out in worship " Your A Word From Heaven". I find it safer to make music about words, its more subjected to the love of God and Gods identity. It doesn't cause judgement or jealousy its more less a focus on God, not individuals or outside of Gods motives and any other would be from schooling terms.

First, howdy and welcome to the forum.

Second, both "sin" and "single" are english. That was man, not God.

Third, english is but one of many, many languages. In french "sin" is peche, and "single" is celibataire. (I didn't include the letter accents because I can't be bothered to.) :p In french "celebration" (same spelling in french, but with those accent marks) is closer to "single."

What is he an angel or something? Never heard of the guy. Or is that you?

Celebration sounds like a sinner who recognizes Jesus's love.
