What's your angle? You keep asking this question as if its the ultimate stumper. The word AND acts as a link which signifies that works are the evidence or proof of saving faith, distinguishing active, genuine faith from a dead, bare profession of faith.
I already covered James 2:24 with you multiple times and called you out for rewriting "justified by works" as saved by works.
James is not using the word "justified" in James 2:24 to mean "accounted as righteous" but is shown to be righteous. James is discussing the evidence of faith (says-claims to have faith but has no works/I will show you my faith by my works - James 2:14-18) and not the initial act of being accounted as righteous with God. (Romans 4:2-3)

The question now is, how many times can a person refuse to answer an honest question about their own faith-alone?

So, this is the cursed result of preaching Jesus' atonement by shedding of blood alone, and not made until sprinkling of blood by resurrection from the dead: Jesus' atonement was for the Jews alone, not for non-Jews also.
So, there were no non-Jewish converts to the law and prophets of God.
So, the Jews that repent and believe are not grafted in the same, as the non-Jews that repent and believe.
So, non-Jews are not in a blood covenant of the Lamb to obey the law of Christ.
So, the Jews do not stand by grace of God.
Does this mean also, that only the non-Jewish Christ have free salvation, and not the Jewish Christians?
We now see the deeper ditch-digging to keep a false gospel of free salvation by faith-alone.
Jesus makes no atonement for non-Jews. There were no non-Jews covenanted with the law and prophets. The Jews and non-Jews do not have the same grafting into the Israel of God. The non-Jews have no blood-atonement with God, and the Jews have no grace from God.
Which makes Jewish and non-Jewish believers distinctly separated in the body of Christ.

While there is no division of atoning blood, grace, grafting, and covenant in the body of Christ. There is a clearly cursed difference between free-salvation by faith-alone, and obedient salvation by repentance:

No man is justified by his faith-alone in Christ, while transgressing His commandment.
No man has the love of God or neighbor by faith-alone, while not doing the necessary work of love.

So, you believe the Scriptures that a man is justified by works, and not by faith alone.
If you continue to call on the name of the Lord throughout your life, enduring temptation without transgression, ye shall be saved unto the end.

Who needs Jesus to prefectly repent with a gospel salvation before repentance.
You also have a life of rebellion while sinning against God.
No unrepented sinner needs grace not to sin either.
The grace of sinners by faith-alone is to cover continued rebellion. The grace of God by the faith of Jesus is for His people not to sin against Him.

The free salvation gospel of grace by faith-alone, with continued sinning, is only for continued sinners.
The gospel of obedient salvation by grace through faith of Jesus, with continued righteousness, is only for saints doing His righteousness.

Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that is doing righteousness at all times.

And so, the gospel of free salvation by faith-alone with sinning, preaches everyone to continue sinning.
Their faith is in themselves to continue doing unrighteousness, and unbelief toward God to do His righteousness.
The sinner's faith to do evil, is not Jesus' faith to do good.
Not unrepented sinners by faith-alone while sinning.

Not only by faith-alone do sinners not believe the Scriptures of promise, but also mock their promise of Jesus' salvation from sinning, to only do the good, and not evil.

Jesus' promise by repentance is to save His people from our sins. A sinful Christ's promise by faith-alone is to save his sinners with their sins.

Not everyone is obeying your Christ's gospel to continue sinning, whether you like it or not.
It's not possible to do the Father's will before being saved. God's will cannot be done without a purified heart of the Spirit.

Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
It's only possible by Jesus Christ to do the Father's will to be justified by works form a pure heart.

Because what Scripture says works do with faith, they don't want to hear what faith must do with works.
All faith-alone justifier's are always looking to make a dividing line between faith and works. It's necessary, since their faith in the name of Christ is not always the same as their works without Christ.
In order to preach justification by faith-alone, they can never allow faith and works to be the same. Rather than faith without works is dead, they must make faith without works alive. And faith with evil works is not evil, but good.
Faith-alone justification, aside from all the dissembling of words and Scripture, is really quite simple: "I know I still do bad things, but my heart is still good..."
Their faith-alone makes them righteous and good, while their works judge them unrighteous and evil. Therefore, they must also reject the righteous judgment of God by works:
Rom 2:3
And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them which do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?...For there is no respect of persons with God.
1 Peter {1:15}
Be ye holy, for I am holy. And if ye call on the Father, who without respect of persons judges according to every man’s work, pass the time of your sojourning here in fear:
John 6:40 - For my Father’s will is that everyone who looks to the Son and believes in him shall have eternal life, and I will raise them up at the last day.

Nobody preaches "justification by faith-alone" because that is your personal invention which has absolutely no scriptural foundation, no objective meaning, and no importance outside of your extremely narrow, self-absorbed, lying mind.
No one is justified before God almighty because of something they did.
No one can be justified or sanctified before God almighty because of some behavior.
We are all saved utterly by Jesus Christ alone.
When you think of salvation just think Jesus Christ.
Jesus is the beginning and end of salvation!
