A thread full of tiny one-shot blogs, and nobody making any comments on any of them?Arwen tried to make rules for this thread when it was new, but we took care of that.![]()
datzphunnneee, could be a poem!My stream of consciousness is more of a river.
Sometimes it can be a deluge because it floods.
Well nobody has posted in here a while and now I am 'accused' of having streams of consciousness when this whole thread has been one (wasn't started by me?) and lots of other people beside me post in it, but somehow, I'm like the WORST one?
Do not other people have thoughts in their head?
Or do they just copy and paste things from somewhere else?
Or is Lynx just messing with me...AGAIN!
Why is he so obssessed with me? I don't get it. Of course, he would then post a post about me that says 'Lanolin doesn't get things' "Lanolin is bored'
Like stating the obvious.
It wasn't in this thread, it was in another (recent) one, I can point it out if you want.Hi Lanolin, I missed the post where you were accused of something, can you quote it or hit reply so we know what you are referring to?
@Snackersmom it was in the Lefties thread (that I created). It wasn't in this thread, it was in another (recent) one, I can point it out if you want.
If I post a cartoon it is almost always either Calvin and Hobbes or xkcd. One thing I was wondering, does Lynx actually draw those cartoons he always posts, or just somehow finds them on the internet?
Huh, I always like Calvin and Hobbes. If I post a cartoon it is almost always either Calvin and Hobbes or xkcd.

Is Jim Davis still alive?
There was a recent Garfield movie, and it's been so long (since June 19 1979) that Garfield is like in his 40s now. I think I read up to...1991? I had nearly every one. I liked the Sunday ones the best, as they had the title gag, and 3 panel rows, so more fun Garfield action, rather than just him being lazy and sleeping and wisecracking all the time.
I liked The Far Side by Gary Larson and he ended it when he ran out of ideas/steam.Yeah... Garfield ain't as funny as he used to be.
I still read today's Garfield comic strip, mostly from habit, and sometimes he has a good one, but not very often. He was a lot funnier in the first few years.
Maybe Jim should have taken a cue from Bill. The Calvin and Hobbes author, Bill Watterson, said he ended Calvin and Hobbs because he had said all he came to say with the strip. He said if he had continued it would have turned into a boring comic strip, the kind he despises. Maybe Jim should have ended Garfield years ago.
@Snackersmom it was in the Lefties thread (that I created).
It wasn't an accusation as such, more of a criticism.
I really don't take criticism that well, well nobody really does. But I am tired of being criticised all my life for just being myself.
I dunno, I'm only 160cm tall. I should be a giant by now.Alrighty I getcha. Yeah nobody really LIKES criticism but it can help us grow into better versions of ourselves. I understand being overdosed on it though, I've been there myself and you're right, it becomes hard to take any of it too seriously because it all feels like an attack. Hopefully someday you'll be able to handle it though, it's an essential part of our growth
Checked the thread you mentioned and really it just seemed like various people sharing their observations about each other. Lynx said some nice things about you too, that was sweet!.
Anyways, carry on, good to know there weren't any actual accusations!![]()
I mean, you do come across as kind of wooly sometimes and I'm like, "Hey, where's the Lanolin?"I dunno, I'm only 160cm tall. I should be a giant by now.
Yea, most of what peeps say about me are just observations, from their POV, but sometimes it's like they are stating the obvious and doesn't really need to be said. I mean, I already know I'm Lanolin. I don't need other people pointing that out to me.
