Attention Law preachers!!

Thank you!!!! My last few discussions here I felt beat down. Jesus preached the law to make sin obvious. Now I know I was talking about grace last time I was here in some heavy conversations. I did a thoroughl study and your right! Now I won't argue with you about living up to the full expectation of it but I will humbly say... You were right on what you said and I thank you for bringing this to my attention brothers! I understand now. And I'm glad you brought this to light. Take care God bless. Thank God for others who teach! I'm not going to go into a discussion again but I just had to apologize for unnecessary behavior I was confused.

I am not sure what you mean by "law preachers". If you mean those who declare that Christians today are obligated to follow the law, I would say that they are in error.

Seeing Christians who are in the flesh can make one think that the solution is to return to the law. However, the law was only intended to teach people they needed Christ.

In Christ we have the opportunity to walk by the Spirit and mature to the selfless love of Christ-likeness. Love is the fulfilling of the law.

In the age of grace we should be moving forward to Christ-likeness and love, not going backward in trying to keep the law.

Jesus said If you love Me, keep My commandments John14:15 don't let anyone take your love away from Him.

The devil has deceived so many by believing disobeying God is good and obeying Him is bad.

1 John 2:4 He who says, “I know Him,” and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Love fulfills the law because if we love Him we would do what He asks of us if we do.

Exo 20:6 but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments. And He has a faithful that does Rev14:12 Rev22:14KJV


The Ten Commandments

20 And God spoke all these words, saying:
2 “I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.
3 “You shall have no other gods before Me.
4 “You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; 5 you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. God's personal written and spoken will and Testimony for man. Exo31:18 Psa40:8 Heb8:10. Its sad this is even a debate.

There are two laws in Scriptures sadly people get the law that God asked us to keep if we love Him mixed up with the law that was added because of sin Gal3:19 that was contrary and against us Col2:14KJV until the Seed Gal3:19 Paul didn't get these two laws mixed up, but man has sadly to their own destruction Mat7:23 1John2:4 Heb10:26-30. Like there will ever be a time God wants us to not only worship Him or steal from our neighbor or break the least of these commandments. Its really common sense, but people believe want they want.

Jesus clearly predicted to do two opposite things with the laws so not all laws can be the same.

He came to magnify one law- the law of God written by God placing it in our hearts and minds Heb8:10 not a jot or tittle of this law can be edited and breaking them or teaching others to break leads on in the wrong path- - - sin - - - and judgement Mat5:18-30

Isa 42:21 The LORD was pleased, for his righteousness’ sake,
to magnify his law and make it glorious.

Jesus came to put an end to another law which is plainly written in our Bibles- Heb 10:1-15 and what that law is.

Dan9:27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.


If reading Paul in context one would never mistake Paul teaching that we can worship other gods or breaking the least of these commandments, the opposite what what Jesus taught. Mat5:19-30 Paul taught everything had to be according to Christ Col2:8 why Paul taught keeping the commandments of God is what matters 1Cor7:19NKJV just as God said- If you love Me, keep My commandments Exo20:6 John14:15

Yes. Agreed. When a argued with your point also. I got bombarded. The law is good though. I'm leaving it at that before we all get in a debate again. I heard the law is the back bone for the gospel to the unsaved. Agreed. Be cool
