Buying a new one? 😁
Your spies are good... 👀😁 how did they find out I bought two KitKats on that day.. 🕵️‍♂️

But my carrier pigeons are free range ones and I could not catch any, so I couldn't send you the other KitKat. 😁

A pink fake KitKat? Hmm... I'm a guy, so it's hard to get me excited about pink food. 😁
Such a guy answer... There are real pink kitkats, would you eat those either?

I've been trying various cheeses (not all in one day). I got these at Aldi. I also got havarti, not pictured. Yes, believe it or not, I hadn't had havarti!
So 5 cheeses I got: havarti, Pavé from France, purple moon cheddar (cheese soaked in petite sirah), craft beer cheddar (cheese soaked
in imperial stout, and buzzed bean cheddar (cheese soaked in espresso martini).

The 2 that appealed to me the most was the craft beer cheddar (I like the taste of beer 😋) and the havarti.
The one that least appealed to me was the Pavé. I heard it was similar to Brie and it wasn't bad, but I like Brie much better.

Afternoon coffee snack, three Domino's, which are similar to Oreo's, but I like Domino's better. Oreo's tend to be more dry to my taste, or the texture of the cookie is different.

I can’t have too much sodium due to high blood pressure.

What are Bhuja’s?

Snacking is what I did last week..

First I had a cake that I made for my mum's birthday.. Cloudberry and cream cake.

I had to do it in a hurry as my uncle was already there (on the coffee table!) when I got off the work, so I could not decorate it how I originally wanted...

Next one was a cupcakes, dark chocolate chip with whitechocolate frosting.. and yes, the bigger one was the one I ate.

I made these for the bakesale, so the leftover ones I had no box had to be eaten of course 😅 I also made lemon cupcakes but all of those went to the bakesale. (I would have liked those more as I do not like white chocolate that much..)

Lastly it was a wormbun aka funnel cake, as it was May Day.

Aand of course I had these all couple times as I had them all more than a one serving leftover... 🙈

What are Bhuja’s?
Bhuja is an Indian snack - it's a mix of chickpeas that are shaped into small noodles and wafers, roasted peanuts, fried peas, sometimes raisins. It's crunchy, little salty and spicy. All things I like.
I think it's less salty than ready salted potato chips/crisps which is my weakness. I try to have unsalted nuts, and 'nude' chips which are ones with less salt.

I think these new Blue Moon pies are tasty, especially heated up a wee bit.

I reluctantly tried a new combination this evening because it was available.
Fresh salsa was on sale the other day so I picked up some.
On my way home, I kicked myself for forgetting the blue chips.
I thought, what else do I have that's crunchy?
Seaweed
Popcorn

The see weed with avocado and the fresh tomato salsa was really good. I normally save sea weed for a special occasion, like a cooked fish rice roll.
The pop corn with the little bit of salsa, just enough for flavor but not soggy, was better than chips.
Pop corn also pairs well with butter. If you don't want to over do it with butter, just get a long tea spoon and dip out salted butter straight from the block/ stick. Eat the pop corn with that spoon and get a tiny bit of butter each time. It's nothing new, but the method works and tastes just as good as drissling a pan full over the bowl. Benefit is the popcorn doesn't get soggy and you don't need as much.
