My new Brothers & Sisters, I didn't say much so far. Not sure what to say about myself. I guess I'll start with thanking the Lord for directing my path here. I have been praying for a place to have authentic Agape fellowship with my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have not attended a brick and mortar "church" for quite a while now, but I have not forsaken fellowship with the brethren. Right now, the Lord has led me to this Christian Chat Community. We are His "church," His children, the body of believers, same as it was when Jesus walked the earth. As scripture provides in Hewbrew's 10:25, "And let us not forsake the fellowship that we have among ourselves, as the manner of some is, but let us exhort one another, and that so much the more because you see that the day draws near." [speaking of end times approaching] I strongly believe God knows my heart, and he wants to give me the desires of my heart if they are aligned with His will and purpose for my life. I am longing to find a real Christian Community in a "church" without borders. The word "Community" in and of itself has two hidden words in it: "Common" and "Unity" So, when it comes to our Christian brothers and sisters, what does it mean to find real community? Simply put, our unity as Christians will always start and end with who is to be the most important part of our lives: Jesus! I know God led me here for this reason. I am looking forward to chatting with those who feel led to chat with me through messaging and posting and replies and the various venues that this Christian Chat site has graciously provided to us, and I will be sharing more about myself as I mix and mingle around in the site...learning to navigate it all quite slowly so far.
I live in Central PA and am in the EST time zone, but there are no borders in this type of church, including time. That's a blessing worthy of praise! Thank you, Lord, for leading me to here to green pastures and by still waters to restoreth my soul. Amen.
