SO !! When you are proclaiming your "anti-Christ" spirited doctrines of demons, your arguments are NOT coming from the Holy Spirit of Jesus dwelling within you, but from the OTHER worldly spirit infesting your heart.

Do you seriously believe that Lord Jesus has to read through books to determine the fate of believers? Who do you think that He is? Is He not eternal, all knowing and all wise? He knows our thoughts before we do. He looks at the heart.

I'm glad that you are not Lord and Judge. According to you, no believer will be in heaven unless they have obeyed the sabbath law. That eliminates some of the most righteous, diligent and self sacrificing believers in history. Some were burned at the stake for the sake of the gospel. Some spent years in prison, or were tortured. And you believe that God rejects them because they did not go to church on Saturday? That is beyond contemptible.

Do you not know that Paul did not observe the sabbath all the time? When he was ministering to gentiles, he made himself as if he was a gentile. I have news for you. Gentiles do not observe the sabbath. Paul rightly condemned Judaizers. SDA adds nothing of value to the body of Christ, only places burdens that they themselves cannot carry.

I came from a Baptist background, which I would consider junk food, with a little poison mixed in. Being a proficient world class sinner, " chief among sinners" as Paul says. Easing my conscious, by asking Jesus to forgive me, but then getting stuck in the unconverted "sin loop" of sinning then asking forgiveness, taking Jesus for granted, "using Jesus" rather than loving Jesus, to ease the conscious symptoms of my sin illness, rather than curing the disease.

35+ years ago, I was invited to a Daniel / Revelations Seminar, given by SDA's Amazing Facts ministry, where they explained the "day for a year" biblical method of interpreting Bible Prophecy rather than "literalizing" spiritual matters, as these worldly religions attempts to do, to misdirect the world away from the Classical Protestant Reformer's understanding of Bible Prophecy, that exposes the 1260 year reign of the Roman Catholic Church as the Anti-Christ power during the Dark Ages. ( and yet, the deadly wound has healed ) as She comes to power again.

Man ! What an epiphany , what a paradigm shift, changing my whole world view. It was then that I became aware of the spiritual aspect of this war between Good & Evil at that moment, in this world by the simple opening of discernment of "spiritual matters". Finally walking in the Spirit, rather than the flesh only. It hadn't been until then that I became aware of the Holy Spirit, justifying me with Jesus and my sanctification process began. PTL !

Like you implied, there is no perfect, sinless person or group of people, church or congregation. Even God's Remnant Church will be made up of sinners, who have had a heart conversion, "keeping the commandments and having the Faith OF Jesus" Rev 14:12, best reflecting the image, the likeness, the Righteousness of Christ. That Righteousness is Jesus' obedience to His Father's Will, expressed by His Obedience to God's Law, to be the Lamb of God, and the rightful heir as the King of Kings and Lord of Lords of His Kingdom.

EGW's writings are like a nutritional food & gardening cook book, explaining the hows and whys of eating whole nutritional foods rather than junk foods with the "righteous substance" of Spiritual Faith removed. I think God wants us to dress modestly and come in sober with the proper frame of mind to worship Him. So each person is to figure out what this means.

As you stated, each culture is different, the dress and habits are different; therefore adjustments should be made.
We have to be open to these cultural traditions as long as they’re modest.

As far as church traditions go, there shouldn’t be much of a difference from the 1st century church. After all, we are worshipping Him with the NT faith; it NEVER changes. We sing, pray, listen to sermons, have bible study, we follow the NT pattern. The only thing that seems to change is our dress. Lol

I believe all denominations are now barren from the Spirit of the Lord and support through attendance and $$$ should immediately cease. The Seventh Day Adventist church is no exception.

About learning guitar....playing chords is easier...you can buy books with just the chords to learn and experiment and of course the use of a capo (that thing across the frets to change the key in case you are not as versatile as some) youtube has all kinds of videos

I've got 4 guitars myself and I play either by chord or by ear. Have not done much lately so when I take one out, the tips of my fingers on my left hand start to hurt. When I played alot, I had such thick calluses I actually cut them down.

Even as a child, I must've been about 5, I understood there was a 'higher' message within it. In the end, I escaped the monster by way of holding on to a single red balloon that grew and grew until it was bigger than me and lifted me off of the balcony that would've otherwise been only a 'dead end.' I tried to help my mother who was with me to escape also, offering her one little red balloon after another, which she accepted one after another, except that they only accumulated into a big bunch of little red balloons held in her hand, none of them growing any larger in the same way as the one that I had which carried me away from the monster. She was left on the balcony with all those little red balloons, doing nothing much impressive.

You see how I've never managed to shrug that dream off even 50 years later?

Symbolism is used throughout scripture and it's often our own minds speaking to us in dreams. You prob know that.

Could be that the color red is significant and the size of the balloons but you don't have to be Joseph to point that out. I have a few dreams that I know were more than just dreams or my very active imagination that I do not forget. One in particular that occurred after the death of my grandfather.

White did more than suggest a diet. She prached vegetarianism

Ex-Adventist preacher Dudley M. Canright wrote that Mrs. White "for bade the eating of meat, . . . yet secretly she herself ate meat more or less most of her life." He also said that he saw James and Ellen White eat ham in their own dining room.

A former on-again, off-again literary assistant of Ellen White, Frances ("Fannie") Bolton, in 1914 described an incident when she traveled with the White group to California. At the railway depot "Sister White was not with her party, so Elder [George B.] Starr [also a member of the party] hunted around till he found her behind a screen in the restaurant very gratified in eating big white raw oysters with vinegar, pepper, and salt. I was overwhelmed by this inconsistency and dumb with horror. Elder Starr hurried me out and made all sorts of excuses and justifications of Sister White's action; yet I kept thinking in my heart, 'What does it mean? What has God said? That's an honest confession, mate! But it mustn't stop there. If you truly want to be healed, then confession is a necessary part of starting that deliverance process i.e. attacking the root and not the branches. Prob is, most folks don't know that they need deliverance; they have been conditioned to think that a believer cannot have demons resident. The big secret is that WE ALL HAVE DEVILS; it's only a matter of degree. This is why sanctification is vital.

I also have noticed the same. A desire for worldly "respect" brings a snare. Apathy extraordinaire. Ppl no longer know where they came from, why they're here, or where they're going - and they dress accordingly.

I reckon the point of the parable is not that one needs a particular style (determined by cultural norms) but that one needs a garment that has been WASHED (hence my previous cleanliness comment). One's garment needs to be CLEAN (from sin) i.e. washed (in the blood) if he expects entry.

EG White's writings include spiritual poison. There is some truth, because she read the Bible. The lies are the problem. Dead legalism binds and blinds people to the truth. SDA completely reject the truth that God's law was for Israel and not for Gentiles. SDA adds law to grace, so nullifying the finished work of Christ through His death and resurrection.

People in heaven from different religions? I don't know where you get that from. There is only one Saviour and His name is Jesus.
