Are they saying that Iran has an air defense? It is easy to say that during a cease fire, but the US hit 3,000 or 6,000 targets in Iran (I forget what the final total was). Sure doesn't seem like they have an air defense.

I quoted the NKJV Bible, I don't know what your translation says, but I would advise you to be careful, as there are lot's of fake translations out there.
I can't offer you any specific biblical rebuttal, for your particular view. The reason is that the bible does not address every single false interpretation, as there are hundreds of unbiblical narratives.
The Bible doesn't instruct us on how to debate "Big Bangers", "Evolutionists", "Atheists" "Communists", etc. The Word of God reveals the truth and anything that opposes it is obviously from the Devil.
The problem is not with any particular version of the Bible, it's with one's interpretation of what Gods Word is saying in the Bible.
The things of God are foolishness to those who are perishing. There are so many opposing views and different ways individuals and denominations understand and apply bible doctrines.
God has not given the gift of discernment to everyone, that's why His Word can't be understood by those who have not received His gift. They will go to the grave, never knowing the truth or understanding the gospel.
Then that means, one of us is holding to a false interpretation. We have opposing views, while reading the same Bible.
I'm not sure if we will agree on anything if you're not willing to put down that weapon, called (denominational lens or prism). If you only allowed the Bible interpret the Bible, then we would agree.
