The fact of Jesus quoting Psalm 118 destroys every replacement theology pretension and error there ever was or ever will be.
Concordantly, the Hallel Psalm 118 is INTIMATELY connected to Romans 11:26-27, including the entire Roman 9 thru 11 message.
Connecting the Hallel to Romans 11:26–27
Paul’s statement in Romans 11 that "all Israel shall be saved" and that the "Deliverer will come out of Zion" mirrors the core themes found in the Hallel:
A. The Deliverer from Zion
Psalm 118 is the primary "entry" psalm for the Messiah. When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the crowds quoted Psalm 118:26 ("Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord").
In Romans 11:26, Paul points to a future fulfillment of this "Deliverer" coming to turn away ungodliness from Jacob. The Hallel sets the stage for a King-Deliverer who rescues the nation at its moment of greatest distress—a theme Paul argues is yet to be fully consummated for ethnic Israel.

Psalm 117 commands the Goyim (Gentiles/Nations) to praise God because of His kindness toward Israel.
Paul uses this exact logic in Romans 11. He explains the "mystery" that the partial hardening of Israel has led to the riches of the Gentiles, but that the ultimate goal is a unified praise where the "fullness of the Gentiles" and the salvation of "all Israel" meet.
C. The "Cup of Salvation" vs. "Taking Away Sins"
In Psalm 116:13, the psalmist says, "I will take the cup of salvation and call upon the name of the Lord." Paul defines this salvation in Romans 11:27 as the fulfillment of the Covenant: the definitive taking away of sins. In the Passover Seder (where the Hallel is sung), the fourth cup is associated with the promise: "I will take you as my people" (Exodus\ 6:7). Paul is essentially saying that the final "Cup" of the Hallel—the national restoration of Israel—is guaranteed by the character of the God who made the Covenant.
3. The Prophetic "Future" Link
The Hallel was sung at the very Pentecost (Shavuot) mentioned in your previous question.
The Past: The Hallel looked back at the Red Sea.
The Present (in Paul's view): The Messiah (the rejected Cornerstone) has been revealed.
The Future (Romans 11:26-27):
The nation of Israel will eventually sing the Hallel with full understanding.
Just as the Greek grammar in Romans 11:27 (hotan\ aphelōmai) looks forward to a specific point of removal of sin, the Hallel reaches its crescendo in Psalm 118:22-29, looking toward the day when the gates of righteousness are opened and the nation confesses that God's chesed (steadfast love/mercy) endures forever.

Yes, I think that will be to God's glory to save those there that are his that have been subjected to such gross darkness. In fact, Revelation actually mentions a remnant in Jerusalem that will give glory to God just before Christ returns. That differs from other places in Revelation where those subjected to judgments blaspheme God. So that's a hopeful sign that those are a believing remnant
