Where is it written that the Israelites who were saved at Pentecost were something called the church? They were part of the remnant of Israel, and therefore they were the Israel of God.
Oh and before I forget:

There was intense persecutions at the time of the earliest Church that drove these Apostles (your "Israel of God") AWAY from Jerusalem and the Holy Land. This persecution God's design obviously in order to disperse the gospel.

So then, according to your theory (and @HeIsHere as well) when does this profound, triumphant and voluminously established Biblical "regathering" to the LAND granted to Abraham take place?

Never gonna happen you say? Covenant null and void you say? Let's hear your opinion.

Whoopsies....🙄🥲

1Co 12:28 - And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues

Act 15:4 - And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.

Act 15:22 - Then pleased it the apostles and elders, with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas, and Silas, chief men among the brethren:

Eph 4:11 - And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;

Eph 4:12 - For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:

The word translated 'church' (ἐκκλησία) means a called out assembly, which is what the believing election in Israel were, ie, believers called out of the world to follow their king.

G1577 ἐκκλησία ekklesia (ek-klee-siy'-a) n.
1. (literally) a “calling out.” (see H4744 for usage in Israel).
2. (concretely, of Greece) an assembly of citizens (as called out by the town crier for a specific purpose).

[from a compound of G1537 and a derivative of G2564]

G1537 ἐκ ek (ek) prep.
ἐξ ex (ex)
1. out (of a place, time, or cause).
2. from out (of the point whence action or motion proceeds), forth.

G2564 καλέω kaleo (ka-le'-ō) v.
1. to call (aloud).

This is the same word describing the assembly of Israel in the wilderness who were called out of Egypt.

This is he [Moses], that was in the church in the wilderness (ἐκκλησία) with the angel which spake to him in the Mount Sinai, and with our fathers: who received the living writings to give unto us: Acts 7:38

Even Jesus was a called out one

And [Jesus] was there until the death of Herod: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Out of Egypt have I called my son. Matthew 2:15

Which all relates to this

Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall: 2 Peter 1:10
The word church is just an unfortuante choice of words used by the Roman Catholic church

This age is defined by the phenomenon of the MYSTERY Church, the Betrothed virgin Bride of Christ.

Are confusing the VIRGIN Bride aka the Body with the presently (temporarily) DIVORCED Wife of YHVH?

🤨😅

Smart move by Trump. The blockade is causing huge problems.

He should be even smarter and use the US military to remove any and all ability Iran has to control any aspect of the Strait of Hormuz which is international waters so normal traffic can be restored and the world economy starts getting back to normal.

And from there our military can continue to blockade Iranian ports and continue to choke off their trade.

Hoping Trump becomes smarter than he is now sooner rather than later.

You are obssessed with worldly things, not the things of God. Your end will be destruction if you don't repent.
Eschatology isn't that important. Both sides making claims like these. Its ridicilous, whether you believe partial-preterist or futurist has no bearing on your salvation. You are saved by Christ's blood and grace through faith not a belief in some eschatological model

That's normally true, but I'm seeing on this forum eschatological views that are based on the denial of foundational doctrines of the faith that essentially are a denial of Christ.

Jesus stridently disagrees.....
Come to think of it, multitudes of people have turned to Christ by virtue of this fact:
They were WATCHING Israel. They STUDIED Israel, its profound and unique history, its trials and tribulations.
In fact I can attest that this is the spark that led to my own choice to receive Christ for remission of sins.

Luk 19:44
“and level you, and your children within you, to the ground; and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not know the time of your visitation.”

Mar 13:37
“And what I say to you, I say to all: Watch!”

Mat 24:42
Watch G1127 therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.

Mat 24:43
But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, G1127 and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

These verses are talking about watching, not reading the news. As Jesus says, you don't know when He is returning- Which means be ready at all times, watch. Live as if Jesus is here in a second. Don't see what that has to do with eschatology. We arent saved by knowing things. You can be illiterate and still be saved

Well, we are called to maturity. And a mature grasp of eschatology is meat indeed for those who are fully grown.
But far more importantly, mastery of same is MANDATORY for those who are overseers of the congregations.

Like Paul for example. Did he emphasize latter day eschatology and teach it constantly?
Did he rebuke those who taught heresies?

2Ti 2:17
And their word will eat as doth a canker: of whom is Hymenaeus and Philetus;
2Ti 2:18
Who concerning the truth have erred, saying that the resurrection (AKA THE RAPTURE) is past already; and overthrow the faith of some.

As you can clearly see on this thread, the failure to rightly understand eschatology leads to all manner of
odious after-effects. Not the least of which is replacement theology and the despising of our elder brothers the Jews.

Wrong again! In fact the birth pangs herald birth of the MILLENNIAL AGE and the SECOND COMING!

Well if you deal with the text honestly the apostles clearly asked about the events that surrounded the destruction of the temple not when the millennial reign occurs.

As Jesus was leaving the temple, one of his disciples said to him, “Look, Teacher! What massive stones! What magnificent buildings!”

“Do you see all these great buildings?” replied Jesus. “Not one stone here will be left on another; every one will be thrown down.”

As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives opposite the temple, Peter, James, John and Andrew asked him privately, “Tell us, when will these things happen? And what will be the sign that they are all about to be fulfilled?”
Mark 13:1-4

Oh, so you really don't believe in eternal security?

You have freewill to walk away/forfeit/lose salvation.........no such thing as "never perish" and imperishable seed.

Gods promise to you is unbreakable, but those pesky Jews don't deserve their promise.

I think you are confused, free will saves no one, nor does it keep anyone saved.

So once again you are strawmaning my position because as you well know the gift of salvation means being >>> justified,

It is an individual position, nowhere was all of ancient Israel declared "justified" as a group.

Salvation has always been by individual faith.

Ancient Israel was chosen/elect for a purpose which has been fulfilled.

Now we have @cv5 employing some absurd literalist interpretation to "all Israel will be saved" meaning each "ethnic" Jew in the future being saved.

Tell me does that sound like free will or more like Calvinism pre-selection?

Also, what is so difficult to comprehend that God fulfilled all His promises in Christ Jesus, He gave them the better land and they refused it, instead they pursued revolt against their oppressors by warfare and then paid dearly for it.
