Our Father in Heaven, holy is your name.

Your Kingdom has come. And your will
on earth, is the very same, as your will
in Heaven.

You give us every day, our daily needs.
And you forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those, who trespass
against us.

You never lead us into temptation,
but you always deliver us, from the evil one.

For yours is the kingdom, the power
and the glory forever.

In the mighty name of Jesus Christ,
our Lord and Savior.

Amen!

Yes, updated to make it easier and clearer to understand. The Bible has been updated many times, but the core message remains the same. Anyone can update the Bible to. make it easier to understand, without changing the message .
The Bible’s that we use today, we’re also updated from previous versions, to make it easier & clearer for our generation.
And it goes without saying, that in the future, there is a possibility of more updates for future generations. No one living today, would be able to understand the original bible, if it wasn’t updated.

I understand the Bible is updated in terms of the wording with regards to the times, but we do need to make sure it's the same thing being said. The prayer is a command that His name be Holy and that His kingdom come

I understand the Bible is updated in terms of the wording with regards to the times, but we do need to make sure it's the same thing being said. The prayer is a command that His name be Holy and a request that His kingdom come and His will also be done on earth as It is in heaven. These aren't things that have now happened, we're asking for it when we pray. Again, we pray for God not to lead us into temptation and to deliver us from evil.

Not to be pedantic, but I thought I should add this. The Bible is a tough thing to update

The spiritual kingdom of God came already and it’s with us right now, but the physical kingdom of God will come in the end, when Jesus Christ comes back physically.

He has delivered us from the power of darkness and conveyed us into the kingdom of the Son of His love - Colossians 1:13

When Jesus rose from physical & spiritual death, He launched the spiritual kingdom of God , on earth, therefore everyone that accepts and acknowledges, Jesus as Lord & Savior, becomes a member of the spiritual kingdom of God, right now and right here on earth.
Note that we have been delivered, which is past tense, already happened. And obviously, the kingdom that we have been delivered into is not physical, but spiritual.
And as long as you pray for God’s will to be done, it will never be done. It will always remain in the future and unattenable.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen - Hebrews 11:1

Faith is always present tense and not future, done already, even though physically it has not happened yet. As you pray or confess, as if it has already happened, that is what triggers it to actually happen.

Then God said, Let there be light…. - Genesis 1:3

God set the first example of faith in the beginning. He declared the existence of light, before light existed! He never said, there will be light.

..for I have made you a father of many nations - Genesis 17:4-6

God spoke His faith, as if it was already done. Abraham was 100 years old, childless & his wife was barren, when God called him, the father of many nations. God did not say, He will make him, in the future, but He said, I already have made you, even though it had not happened yet.

Therefore be imitators of God as dear children - Ephesians 5:1

We are not God and can never be God, but we can imitate how He operates, on a lower level

And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness and let them have dominion.. - Genesis 1:26

God created man to be like God, without being God and to operate like God, under God, on a lower level

Absolutely none of what you've just said rewrites the Lord's prayer.

His kingdom on earth (as in heaven) will be the New Jerusalem. We're still in a world run by the evil prince of it...

If His will or spiritual kingdom cannot be accessed now, on earth, why pray for it to come or be done? Why not just wait for the end, for it to come by itself? True, the world is dominated by the devils kingdom, but those, who are born again from spiritual death to spiritual life, are not part of it, they are in God’s spiritual kingdom.
The New Jerusalem will be the physical kingdom of God, that will come later. Thanks.

The aramaic scriptures can be translated directly to a list of requests made to God. Also, we pray for things given or to be given to us all the time. We pray for God's protection when we know He will protect those who are His people, for example.

Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your request to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:6-7
