God does not change --- sin is sin and always will be.

and I understand only God can change your mind! and HE will when it is your time

Yes. of course God doesn't change, but he obviously has changed the ways in which he has dealt with man. Think of it like parents with their children. Parents never change in their good will towards their children, but are they still wiping their children's bums when they're 15 years old? No, of course not. They change their ways as their children grow up.

""but he obviously has changed the ways in which he has dealt with man""???

that can never happen --- God makes no mistakes--- if God changed how HE deals with mankind - that would mean the first way did not work.

You have a serious case of Christian denial, ie, a fixation on one verse that causes the mind to deny other revealed truths and concoct all kinds of elaborate contradictory explanations in order to make those truths go away.

They worked for their intended purposes. Once those purposes have been accomplished it's time to move on to new things, and not put new wine in old wineskins, so to speak.

If you are saying once the purpose of the physical has been attained, as in the sacrificial of the physical lamb is complete and now is the time for the spiritual lamb to be sacrifice -- I agree

God does not move from the 10 Commandments to an entirely different set. they have been expanded but not pitched in the round file.

Of course he did. The law was a schoolmaster to lead us to Christ. Now he is the teacher.

Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith. But after that faith is come, we are no longer under a schoolmaster. Galatians 3:24-25

The first way only worked to bring you to Christ because, without Him, you'd otherwise die in order that you actually do fulfill that law's requirement.

You've only two choices now that He had come, either die in Christ or die in your sins.

There's an idiom typically said within the sports culture when you defeat an opponent, "You've been schooled," or "We're taking you to school" or something like that. Similarly, Jesus took the law to church. He achieved victory in the 'game' by a "shutout" and gained His right to the blessed life that the Law promised to those that keep it...and then in celebratory acceptance of His victory, He declared, "It is finished!" and died! Now THAT is a gamechanger!

Do you even understand what you are saying???

Jesus Christ came to pay the price of death each of us has earned for transgressing Christ's Torah!

4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

For Christ to inspire John to write this and then put it in the N T, must prove sin is still the transgression of the law.
How can you not understand the 10 Commandments are to be obeyed -- not obeying them is sin as per John!
the wages of SIN IS DEATH

Christ did not die to abolish the Torah -- He died because all humans refused to stop transgressing the Torah!

and today the churches teach against the Torah, in His day at least they knew they were transgressing God's Holy Torah

to day "christians" are proud to admit they will not obey!

Rejecting the 10 Commandments, Christ wrote with His own finger, is now a sign that you knows the truth!

15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.
Explain Why Christ did not ""really" mean we are to obey the Commandments. -- they are only for the unsaved?

Why did Christ have John write the book of the Revelation, showing what Christ is soon going to do to this lawless world?
I know -- because the world will not let Christ dwell in their hearts.

the whole world has been deceived by Satan and they are proud of it.

it is the Sacrificial law that shows us the wages of sin is death
It is the Sacrificial law that Christ came to fulfill, our schoolmaster showing us that if Christ did not die --- we will die for eternity.
Christ is our Passover, our Daily Sacrifice. WHY??

the Sacrificial law was added because of sin, sin is the transgression of the Torah.
there is not one mention in the O C regarding sacrifices -- they were added.

it is so sad to see THE many so deceived,
Satan has convinced the churches 'not obeying' is righteousness.
Who is it, who is the one that refused to obey from the beginning?

The law means ALL of the law, which you don't keep. It's not just the 10 commandments, which you pretend to keep, but don't because you bear false witness against scripture

A demonic idea. Satan seeks to enslave Christians with this foolishness

Satan is enslaving "christians' with the concept; "obeying God is foolishness",
that sin is the transgression of the LAW and the result is eternal death???
Do you even understand what you are saying??

No serious Christian says that. That's a straw man set up by those who have made the torah their god, and who have no idea what it means to follow Christ. Being lawful to Christ and hearkening to his words is not being lawless.

To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law. 1 Corinthians 9:21

Do you understand why Jesus Christ is our Passover?
Do you understand why Jesus Christ poured HIS blood on the ground, at our 3:00 PM,
on the one and only Day that it's allowed to take place? as per the O T
Jesus Christ is the ONE who MADE everything single thing that has been made, on earth and heaven
He made angels, the stars, earth and every single thing on it.
and HE came to earth as flesh and blood to die to we could live.
WHY did He have to die ----- to pay for yours and my transgressing of the LAW --- HE put in place.

and then HE trashed the Law????
up is really down and the sky is green.

I learned decades ago if it ain't logical -- it ain't true
2 + 2 must equal 4

4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you

5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

you are well aware I am not one of the MANY

Which is greater? Christ or the law of Moses?

Where did the Law of Moses come from?
Who wrote it with their finger?
who gave the law to Moses written on two tables of stone to be kept in the Ark under the Throne of God the Father?
Who obeyed it perfectly while in a body of flesh? and Why?
Who said, if you love me obey the commandments

Here is what you are advocating;

Christ, GOD, came and allowed Himself to be put to death for our transgressions, NOT HIS --- of His own Torah ---

"So no one would need to obey it any longer". that is logical, sound logic only to THE MANY

No human can open your mind

Here is what you are advocating;

Here is what you're advocating: the law is God. But that is simply idolatry.

God is the author of the law, therefore he is greater than the law. But you make the law equal with God, and then exalt the law above God by saying follow the dead letters of the law rather than follow the living being who gave the law., ie Christ.

so you are holding to Christ died so we would not have to obey, I would wish you luck, but luck will not do you any good.

again only the logic of the MANY can believe obeying is of Satan
