Wait.... do you understand what Rom 5:1 is actually saying? It says "THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST". That
means the faith by which we're justified, therefore, MUST BE CHRIST'S FAITH GIVEN THAT JUSTIFICATION IS THROUGH THE LORD JESUS CHRIST as the verse so states, and is not by man's faith or it couldn't say "through our Lord Jesus Christ - the two - justification and faith - are hard linked. See what I'm saying? Think about it.

It clearly states BY faith... not gifted faith.

Nah, a person receives/is declared justified after exercising faith in Christ Jesus and receiving the gift of salvation and ......... then the new believer has the peace WITH God.

It doesn't say that - you've inappropriately added to what the verse specifically states - stick to it as written. It says, "through our Lord Jesus Christ". It was His faith that brought/brings forth peace with God and salvation, not man's faith. Man's faith did not yield peace with God because it is an imperfect faith. Christ's faith, on the other hand, was perfect.

It clearly states BY faith... not gifted faith.

It does not say "gifted faith" because did not intend that. Otherwise, the involvement of man would be required for salvation even if gifted, but instead, it is all by Christ alone without man's participation

Right.

They do not like to admit that faith is a gift since it blows their self-exalting theology out of the water.
They prefer believing that man is a good guy and that he can produce good fruit from his incurably
wicked heart, even though Jesus said it was impossible, and Scripture says there are none good.
Scripture also says all good things come from above, from the Father of Lights. But no, they believe
they can change their wicked heart even though doing so is equated with a leopard changing its spots
or an Ethiopian the colour of their skin. Just like they say everyone hears when Jesus said otherwise.
If you ever need anyone to butcher Scripture for you, Heis is your person. According to them, God is not
even required in the process of coming to believe, and God is unfair for doing things thy way He does.

You are as dishonest as the day is long and the days are getting longer.

Not surprising you repeatedly have your account deleted.

Well report me to a mod if you think I am here dishonestly but you know I am not.

You are just another person who cannot stand to have anyone question your false authority. You make things or try to
make things personal in order to avoid actually givng a responsible answer and then create a false narrative to attempt
to make the other person less credible.

You can quote scripture all day long, but they are not the lessons to others you think they are.

You are actually the 'they' you are sniping at.

Good to see you no longer believe that man is a participant in obtaining his salvation (besides being the recipient) but instead that it is solely given between God the Father and Jesus Christ.

Salvation is received as a complete gift through faith, that is what the scripture makes clear.
If initial/saving faith was a gift it would not be "through."

Paul is absolutely clear in the grammatical structure of Ephesians 2:8 that the gift IS salvation, not faith.

Without that verse all else is eiegesis and manipulations.

Wait, whaaat? You're dishonest AND your account has been repeatedly deleted? No kidding? Good to know.

Magenta thrives on personal attacks. No, I have not been banned and saying I have is what is dishonest. It seems that certain
people here cannot address others that point out what they say is not exactly what scripture states without some kind of
nasty verbagge. Magenta excels at that which is why I usually ignore her.

Think what you want. The thread is not about me though is it. But you ahead and report me. Please .

If you dont have Tulip Truths in your Gospel you have no Gospel of Grace !

You don't hand out the gospel but if you did, it seems it might be lacking grace.

Where is all the scripture that illustrates what you say you believe? I have not seen any from you....just those personal comments that have no basis in scripture but do seem to come from your personal beliefs which have no bearing on the actual gospel according to scripture.

I don't report people - never have.

Didn't I say that guy teaches a false Christ dishonoring, man exalting gospel?

You say alot with no explanations. Listen, if you call someone out as a false teacher, at least tell us all why. Point out the error, otherwise, if you can.

I don't report people - never have.

So making the comments you have made about me are ok? It's ok to spread a false narrative because a person who personally dislikes me got nasty to me?

Got it. Very charitable of you.

I have a comment about what you said. You deny Rom 5:10 as usual and base reconciliation to God on ones faith and repentance, whereas the scripture stated plainly they were reconciled to God by Christs death while being enemies ! You reject it
Do you believe that "reconciliation" in Romans 5:10 refers to expiation?

If you read what @Magenta wrote it is clear she is saying that the person requested that the account be deleted.

I don't deny that and I did not deny that. But why are you still talking about it? See how effective what did is?

That, was her intention all along. It's a red herring designed to make me dishonest ...because SHE said so.

When a person asks to have their account deleted, it's not dishonest nor is it somehow making them a liar.

Wake up and stop supporting the personal attacks. I won't hold my breath since you have followed me and at least
one other person around on this site liking any post that disagrees with me.

And some of you wonder why good people leave the site while the name callers and nasty replies fly around here, always from the same people.

God moved John (and all of the gospel writers) to write specifically what He wanted to convey - it did not originate from John. When God said He would destroy this world, what do you think He had in mind? Whichever world you come up with, it is the opposite of the world that He "so loved" of John 3:16-17 (that is what your question was about - the world of John 3:16-17, correct?)

[2Pe 3:10-13 KJV]
10 But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.
11 [Seeing] then [that] all these things shall be dissolved, what manner [of persons] ought ye to be in [all] holy conversation and godliness,
12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of God, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?
13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.
The meaning of any word, including "world," depends on the context. In John 3:16 it refers to people.

Justification and peace are two different things, yes?
