Ok, but I can't sign on to it until I have seen the fine print.
What exactly do you mean by "peace?"
"Israel" has stretched the definition of "self defense" to include every evil thing that a human can possibly do, and I suspect that they would do the same with "peace".
Signing peace agreements with other nations is by definition seeking peace.

I don't disagree with your assessment. I would have preferred that America and Israel continued taking out military targets and combatants. I would also prefer we arm resistance groups within the country and let them win their own freedom. I fear we are simply putting off the problems today for future generations to deal with in the future.
Some arms have been supplied to resistance groups, but it's not easy. Some have taken the weapons but have not used them against the regime. Ukraine has proven how hard it is to overcome determined defence. Ukraine was supposed to be defeated in days. Four years later, Mr Putin is looking foolish. At least America's military is discovering the limitations of sea based air power.

Weigh this out on a scale and compare it to Scripture before everyone gets too far into this milti-polar(2 or more) world power stuff. In the agreement Putin and Xi agreed on it says that two or more nations, kingdoms would seek to control things and that it was to offset the uni-polar(1 world ruler/US) world control. So it's meaning that not just one world leader/nation should be in control of the whole of the earth. Then again in Scripture the one world leader don't share his power and authority with any other king on earth he even claims to be God. So any way you look at this Putin and Xi cant be the one world order there arguing against it.
The Antichrist will not be anything like Putin or Xi. Or even Mr Trump. He will be a leader such as the world has never seen before, someone with such charm, charisma and power that the world will gladly submit to him. Only believers will not be fooled. Kim comes closer, but North Koreans are shielded from the outside world so they do not see the truth about Kim. The Antichrist will head up a world government that is not nation based. He will set up in Jerusalem and deceive a multitude of Jews. He will enable the third temple to be built, which must happen in order for him to desecrate it.

People who doubt this must explain why Jesus has not returned and why the Temple Mount has not been split by a massive earthquake.

No.
KEEPING agreements is seeking peace.
"Israel" has a very bad record with that, and the US is not so far behind.
Strict count — full-scale wars or major armed attacks where Israel was not the immediate initiator: I’d say 4 clear cases since 1948.

CaseWhat happenedWhy it fits
1948–49 Arab-Israeli WarAfter Israel declared independence, Egypt, Transjordan/Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Iraq attacked. This was an existential attack on the new state.
1973 Yom Kippur WarEgypt and Syria launched a surprise attack on Israel on October 6, 1973.Israel was caught by surprise; Egypt/Syria initiated the war.
2006 Lebanon WarHezbollah carried out a cross-border attack, killed and captured Israeli soldiers, and the war followed.Non-state actor, but a major organized attack from Lebanon.
October 7, 2023 Hamas-led attackHamas-led forces attacked southern Israel, killing about 1,200 people and taking around 250 hostages.A large-scale surprise attack on Israeli civilians and military sites.
Broader count — including repeated major terror waves, rocket wars, and border attacks: then the number becomes well over a dozen, because you’d add fedayeen raids in the 1950s, PLO attacks, Munich/airliner attacks abroad, the First and Second Intifadas, Gaza rocket wars, Hezbollah rocket fire after October 7, Iranian missile/drone attacks, and so on.

The peace that the IRGC desires has nothing to do with cordial relations with Israel.
Or anybody else for that matter.

And Iran's history is to lie. Anyone with even half a brain knows this regime wants nukes to bring about the appearance of Mahdi and apocalyptic eschatological events. As others have said, they are nutters and a death cult. This is their stated aim. They view Jews as subhuman and wish to eradicate them. They wish to eradicate all infidels and desire to make all populations members of Islam or kill them.

This is what you and others here defend. It is both unChristian and reckless. For someone who claims that the lessons of history are important, you seem very selective in what history you deem important.

There is opportunity presently to foment real peace and prosperity in the Middle East. I'm praying God secures it now. Who knows when conditions so favorable will again be present.

Good try ... Mark L. score 0 but to be expected, after all you have on more than on occasion asserted the the notion of discriminatory bombing and then used false data to try and back it up.

On the bright side you and @cv5 are in congruence now. :)

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12 There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?

This question is the cure to being caught up in groupthink.

Yeah, kinda like taking Bible verses out if context so as to create a false narrative, actually completely like that.

If resorting to such definitions, Charles Ponzi was also a very successful businessman. And America is getting richer and richer the more federal reserve notes it prints! Lol. :p

I get it. Your sympathies lie with a murderous tyrannical death cult over the peace and prosperity of the Iranian people. You say they don't have or want nukes yet nukes are being negotiated. How is that possible if they aren't pursuing them? And they have made plain their goal is to bring cataclysmic destruction because of their eschatological beliefs.

This is who you side with. This is, as previously noted, is both unchristian and reckless. Thankfully, America is doing something about this. You prefer widespread death and destruction. You support the murder of innocents and continual conflict. You have no answer but a continuation of what is currently happening. I don't get that and never will.

So does John Hagee, and I would say far more money in that court.
Okay carry on your "talking points" have been stated.

Amazing how it all gets twisted that I/we prefer death and destruction.
Yeah I guess that is why I cry each time I see babies and children in Gaza crying for their dead mothers.
Oh how they avoid anything prior to 1948.
Seriously!!
