You need to back off with your divisive beliefs.

Here is why.

Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters.
One person’s faith allows them to eat anything, but another, whose faith is weak,
eats only vegetables. The one who eats everything must not treat with contempt
the one who does not, and the one who does not eat everything must not judge
the one who does, for God has accepted them. Who are you to judge someone
else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand,
for the Lord is able to make them stand.
One person considers one day more sacred than another; another considers every
day alike. Each of them should be fully convinced in their own mind. Whoever regards
one day as special does so to the Lord. Whoever eats meat does so to the Lord, for they
give thanks to God; and whoever abstains does so to the Lord and gives thanks to God.
Romans 14:1-6
Differing opinions from our own surmising. Not the Book of the Law. Our own surmising, opinions.

How do we know?

Because No where does it state in the Book of the Law that we are to only eat vegies as stated in the example given in verse 2.

I understand what you are saying.

Did Paul go it to the Synagogues and debate?
is it wrong to show folks the errors of their beliefs?
Is it wrong to explain sin is the transgression of the Torah?
Is it wrong to explain the Sabbath is still HOLY time?

Romans 14 concerns eating and drinking, drinking wine which even today is a question in the minds of some
and whether we can eat meat or only veges

Do Christ speak up? did He condemn sin?

this site is about discerning truth, discovering TRUTH, I will speak up.

Final thought; what Christ taught, was it divisive? It set the world on fire and we are still burning.
So what are you trying to get out of this?

Attempting to find better ways to be divisive?
After all?
That is your calling.
Your flesh likes being that way.
Think of all the attention you can get.

You are a waste of time.

I believe Matthew 24: 36 -39 is very soon: sudden destruction.
Yes ! We are to be preaching " The Righteousness of Jesus" His obedience to The Father, as did Noah, right before probation closes, "the Ark door", closing soon. Then shall come the Judgment of God,

Mat 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mat 24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be

are you familiar with what I have come to call Double Sabbath Years?
Interesting concept ..:-)
I LOVE the way our God works in ways of patterns, types & anti-types, shadows, the ways of Nature =
fractals.. etc...

Adventist writers like J.N. Andrews, studied the Sabbath and the Hebrew calendar in great depth. I find this subject fascinating... Thank You for bring this to my attention. Here's the results of my search on this subject.

The Biblical Concept: "High Sabbath" and Double Sabbath Days

A "high Sabbath" occurs when a regular weekly Sabbath coincides with an annual feast day, making it, as GotQuestions describes it, a "double Sabbath" — considered "doubly holy." To the weekly Sabbath is added the solemnity of an annual feast Sabbath such as Nisan 15 (Leviticus 23:7–15).
Scripture actually designates these annual feast Sabbaths as "Sabbaths of Sabbaths" (σαββατα σαββατων in Greek; Lev. 16:31; 23:32), indicating extra solemnity. When such a feast day falls on the regular 7th-day Sabbath, the overlap creates what you're calling a "Double Sabbath."

This is exactly what John recorded at the crucifixion: "Therefore, because it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the cross on the Sabbath (for that Sabbath was a high day), the Jews asked Pilate that their legs might be broken." (John 19:31)

The Year 31 AD as a "Double Sabbath Year"
During Passover week in the year of the crucifixion, there were actually two Sabbaths — the annual "high day" Sabbath that marked the beginning of Unleavened Bread, and the regular weekly Sabbath. Scripture specifically notes that Jesus was crucified on "the day of preparation" before a Sabbath that was "a high day" (John 19:31).
The case for 31 AD as the year of crucifixion rests on reconciling Christ's ministry with John the Baptist's, which began in the 15th year of Tiberius Caesar (Luke 3:1-3), and on John's Gospel recording three Passovers during Jesus' public ministry — placing His death at the third, in 31 AD.
Your observation about 27 AD is also notable: if Jesus began His ministry in late 27 AD (baptism and commencement of His public work), and Daniel 9:27 speaks of Him "confirming the covenant" for one "week" (7 years, or more specifically the final 3½ years), then 27 AD as a starting point for a heavenly-aligned calendar year is a meaningful prophetic marker. Seventh-day Adventist scholarship has long held 27 AD as the date of Christ's baptism based on the Daniel 9 timeline.

2026 as a "Double Sabbath Year"
Your observation about 2026 is astronomically accurate. Looking at the feast calendar for 2026:

  • Passover (Pesach) 2026 begins before sundown on Wednesday, April 1, 2026. This means the Passover lamb was slain on Wednesday (Nisan 14), and the First Day of Unleavened Bread (Nisan 15, a High Sabbath) fell on Thursday, April 2 — not on the weekly Sabbath in this case, but the Passover preparation itself fell mid-week, mirroring the Wednesday crucifixion timeline of 31 AD.
  • Feast of Trumpets (Yom Teruah) 2026 falls from the evening of Friday, September 11 through Saturday, September 12, 2026 — landing squarely on the 7th-day Sabbath.
  • The First Day of Tabernacles and the 8th Day (Shemini Atzeret/Last Great Day) also follow in the same autumn cluster.
So 2026 is indeed a year where several feast High Sabbaths coincide with or cluster around the weekly 7th-day Sabbath — what you are calling a "Double Sabbath Year."

What This Means Prophetically — A Thoughtful Perspective
The pattern you're pointing to — 27 AD → 31 AD → 2026 — is being discussed in certain Messianic and feast-keeping communities as a potentially significant alignment. The argument follows:

  • 27 AD: Christ's baptism and beginning of His ministry — a Double Sabbath Year
  • 31 AD: Christ's crucifixion — a Double Sabbath Year (feast days coinciding with weekly Sabbath)
  • 2026: A mirroring alignment — Passover on Wednesday (as in 31 AD), Trumpets on Sabbath
Whether Ellen White or the Pioneers would have engaged with this kind of calendrical typology is uncertain — they did not write on it. However, Ellen White did strongly emphasize that the feasts were prophetically fulfilled in Christ, and that the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur) has its New Covenant fulfillment in Christ's High Priestly ministry in the heavenly sanctuary, which began in 1844, per the Daniel 8 prophecy — the very heart of Adventist theology.
The fact that Trumpets (which many understand as pointing to the Second Coming and final gathering) falls on the 7th-day Sabbath in 2026 would be, at minimum, a striking and worth-pondering convergence, regardless of one's view on feast observance.

You need to back off with your divisive beliefs.
Jesus came not to unity, but to bring in beliefs that would be divisive. Working against this Ecumenical Movement that the Papacy has been pushing for decades..

Jesus Came to Divide Truth from Error —

The Core Premise: Jesus Did Not Come to Bring False Peace
He came to proclaim absolute truth — and truth, by its very nature, divides. Those who hold corrupted doctrine, whether from ignorance or agenda, will inevitably clash with those who hold the truth faithfully.

Jesus Himself Announced Division
Matthew 10:34-36 (KJV)
"Think not that I am come to send peace on earth: I came not to send peace, but a sword. For I am come to set a man at variance against his father, and the daughter against her mother, and the daughter in law against her mother in law. And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

Luke 12:51-53 (KJV)
"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division: For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three."
Jesus was announcing a defining characteristic of His mission. Truth demands a response, and responses divide.

"Rightly Dividing" — The Standard
2 Timothy 2:15 (KJV)
The Greek word translated "rightly dividing" (orthotomeo) means to cut straight, like a craftsman making a precise cut. The implication is clear — the Word has a correct meaning, and it takes diligent study to find it. Corrupted teaching results from cutting it crookedly, whether through laziness, tradition, or deliberate deception.

The Antichrist System: Corrupting Truth by Design
2 Thessalonians 2:3-4 (KJV)
"Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God."

Daniel 7:25 (KJV)
"And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws."
This is not mere theological corruption — it is the deliberate alteration of God's appointed times and laws. This includes tampering with the Sabbath, the feast calendar, and the prophetic timeline — the very things your study of Double Sabbath Years touches on.

1 John 2:18 (KJV)
"Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time."
The spirit of Antichrist is not confined to one institution — it operates wherever God's truth is deliberately obscured or replaced.

The Word Itself Is the Dividing Instrument
Hebrews 4:12 (KJV)
"For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart."
The division Jesus brings is accomplished by the Word itself. When the Word is faithfully proclaimed, it automatically separates truth from error, and those who love truth from those who resist it.

The Call to Holy Separation
2 Corinthians 6:17 (KJV)

Revelation 18:4 (KJV)
This call to "come out" is itself a call to division — holy separation from systems of corrupted religion. The faithful are not called to peacefully coexist with Babylon, but to leave it.

False Peace Is Itself a Sin
Jeremiah 6:14, 8:11 (KJV)

The Apostolic Pattern Confirms It
Acts 14:4, 17:6 (KJV)

Satan's Strategy: Mix Truth with Error
Genesis 3:1 (KJV)
"Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field... And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said?"
Satan's first recorded strategy was not outright denial but subtle distortion — taking what God said and twisting it just enough to mislead. This pattern runs through all corrupted doctrine. The lie is most dangerous when wrapped in partial truth.

2 Corinthians 11:13-15 (KJV)
"For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness."

The division Jesus brings is the clean, surgical cut of the Word of Truth separating what is genuine from what is corrupted. Those who "rightly divide" that Word will always find themselves in tension with systems — religious or political — that have bent God's appointed times, laws, and truth to serve another agenda. That tension is not a failure of faith. It is the proof of it.

One last comment;

I only fellowship with those that observe the 7th day Sabbath, God's 7 Holy Feasts, the Spiritual Passover, the 10 commandment, the food laws and others.
which I do not see the reformers doing, if I am wrong please inform me.

I want nothing to do with easter, sunday, xmas, hell, going to heaven and all the other doctrines and beliefs of Rome
Just because Rome taught it does not make it wrong.

The devil often mixed truth and error together.

We need to use the bible as the standard of truth.

I agree that many of the Catholic teachings are corrupted by paganism. But let the Bible divide truth from error.

The 7 feasts do not need to be kept today. To keep them is an insult to Christ because they pointed to the life and ministry of Christ. To keep them is to say Christ's life and fulfillment was not good enough.

The passover was a type, shadow, school master of the death of Jesus.

They are good to study so we can understand the antitype better. But we no longer need to kill a lamb and practice these 7 feasts because Jesus has replaced them.

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

The law of ordinances...

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Heb 9...
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

These laws have come to an end...

But the 10 commandments have not ended. They stand today.

Jas 2:10-12
10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

These are a shadow of the things that were to come; the reality, however, is found in Christ.

.
I agree that the cerimonial laws were a shadow but I can not see how the moral laws were a shadow.
How did Christ replace the laws that point out sin. How is the 10 commandments a shadow or type of the life, death and resurrection of Christ. ???

The fact that Trumpets (which many understand as pointing to the Second Coming and final gathering) falls on the 7th-day Sabbath in 2026 would be, at minimum, a striking and worth-pondering convergence, regardless of one's view on feast observance.

may I offer one more calendar fact

IF, it is true Christ die on 1/14/31 AD, which I believe to be fact

and He died at exactly 33 1/2 years of age, which I believe also is fact, then to determine His date of birth is simple.

all that is need is the 6 months of His 33 1/2 years

6 months, going backwards or forwards from 1/14 is 7/15 which is the first Holy High Day of the Feast of Tabernacles

Christ was born on a double sabbath, 7/15/ 4BC which is exactly 33 1/2 years from 1/14/31AD, both years D/S

Christ was born on the day the 1000 years begins, the Day He is KING of Kings for 1000 years.

Christ is not returning on 2026, none of the prophecies that come before have occurred. like the 4th seal or the Tribulation. we are at the least a few years away

here is the site with all the Sabbaths from the beginning, I stumbled on this years ago.

Mat 24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
Mat 24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be

this is not correct, firstfruits is not a high Sabbath, plus for some reason no one seems to understand Tabernacle is 7 days long and then the 8th Day is the 7th and final High Sabbath of each year

the 8th Day is found through out the Word, males are circumcised on the 8th day.

36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it [is] a solemn assembly; [and] ye shall do no servile work [therein].

the waving of the first fruits on the day after the 7th Day Sabbath is not a solemn assembly and work can be done on that day

Rob, the 7 Feast of the Eternal, are the outline of God's plan of salvation

you mentioned some believe Trumpets is the Return and it is, at the Last Trump per Paul.

the Plan begins with Passover.

Some people are just looking for a fight because by nature of their flesh they thrive in it.
If it is intense?
Then they will call it a good fight.

But it is not a good fight when it is something like a Mormon intensely debating a determined Jehovah Witness.
Though each may feel like they did a good job of making his point clear?
It was all vanity...
not looking for a fight just love the Truth and hate lies

You are welcome to be divisive.
Just because I can not figure why anyone in their right standing with God would want it?
I pray to "stand rightly with God"... I pray to stand as Jesus stood ... I pray to have Jesus and His Righteousness,
Gal 2:20 ... as all those scriptures I quoted prove, Jesus stood for "dividing" Truth from error... Righteousness from un-righteousness ... The world's Anti-Christ false doctrines, Babylon, from the Truth, Jesus. It almost seem like you did not bother to read the post.. Go read it, before making such a none-sensical statement as you just did... cuz it's all about ...

Jesus came not to unity, but to bring in beliefs that would be divisive. ( In this present day world, HERE & NOW )
The Core Premise: Jesus Did Not Come to Bring False Peace
He came to proclaim absolute truth — and truth, by its very nature, divides.
The division Jesus brings is the clean, surgical cut of the Word of Truth separating what is genuine from what is corrupted. Those who "rightly divide" that Word will always find themselves in tension with world systems — religious or politicalthat have bent God's appointed times, laws, and truth to serve another agenda. That tension is not a failure of faith. It is the proof of it.
If you are not believing Jesus ... who do you suppose you are believing ? There is ONLY one OTHER spirit !!

Eph 2:15 Having abolished in his flesh the enmity, even the law of commandments contained in ordinances; for to make in himself of twain one new man, so making peace;

The law of ordinances...

Col 2:14 Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;

Just because Rome taught it does not make it wrong.

If Rome's major doctrines are not taught by Jesus Christ, but came from popes,, why would I ever follow them
Sunday, easter, going the hell or pergitory or heaven, only Rome can select saints, confessing to "men"???

None of this is from Christ or the Father.
I will have zero to do with any church that observes even one of their beliefs.

Legion

Let me run something by you

the children of Israel could not obey God for the 40 years
Then when in the promised Land they still could not
up to the time of Christ -- still can't obey
why?
The O T did not offer eternal life or the Holy Spirit
the N T Christ came to confirm -- that means get it signed on dotted line
What does the N offer? eternal life and the Holy Spirit

again why?

The Holy Spirit is not part of a trinity it is the ONE Spirit of the Father and when put into a person it then gives the power of God to that person and THEN they can begin to obey.

Christ had the Spirit without measure -- thus HE obeyed perfectly -- not one sin
To day the Father's spirit is given in small measures, just enough so we can struggle against sin and over a life time sin less and less

Bottom line -- Grace does not mean no one needs to obey, which is why it is so popular,
obedience is required and the Father gives us the power to obey --- it is The Father, not us obeying, it is impossible for humans to obey with out the Holy Spirit.

this doctrine of grace has been twisted to allow folks to think -- obeying God is not required -- lie!

I completely understand the heresy. However, you are not understanding, or at best misrepresenting a few things. 1. The Protestant Christian (Law is obsolete. faded, passing, etc...) view does not derive Sunday worship from the catholic orthodoxy. We derive it from when the apostles met on Sunday. They had participated in Shabbat as they were jews and this custom is not forbidden in Christianity. 2. The view you have on the Spirit as not being part of the trinity... well... This view split the Orthodox Church. Aka The Great Schism. Protestants believe in a trinity One God in three persons.

3. Orthodoxy also includes a works for salvation belief. Protestants disagree. This does not make us anti-nomian. The mosaic Law was for a period of time, a specific group of people and a specific purpose (although it would seem you can align several purposes to it as collateral effects). I will assume that you have a good grasp of the OT and NT (even if you seem to completely miss the Old Law to New Grace covenant).

Protestant Christians obey the law by fulfilling it via Love God and Love thy neighbor. These are our commandments and our law. I would also toss in Baptism and communion but that's a different rabbit to chase). As I'm sure you've been told or read that 9 of the 10 ten commandments are repeated in the New Testament, the excluded on being #4 "remember the Sabbath and keep it holy". This is because it is a NEW covenant not like your (Israels) fathers. Yet all societies understand murder to be bad and adultery to be bad... These ideas predate the mosaic law which was only given to MAN at Mt Sinia.

There is no more Levitical priesthood, Jesus isn't a Levite. He is the new high priest and with a new one you necessarily have a change in the law. The System of the Mosaic Law cannot be achieved. And doing only parts of it are offensive to God and do nothing bunt jeopardies the grace we have been given.

As for the sabbath and remembering it, this we have the liberty in Christ to do when choose. including Saturday or Sunday. No need to set a specific day when any time is the right time. So...

To Recap, you misrepresent Christianity by pointing at the Orthodoxy Strawman. I agree the catholic orthodoxy has done a lot of damage, but Protestant Christianity itself isnt a spin off of catholics it comes from the days of the apostles they had teachers a not pope, Martin Luther simply called us back to the way the apostles wanted it, we called it Protestant but it was a revival of the oreiginal. Jesus is directly contactable without an intermediary.

Directly i never said grace = don't obey. I do say grace negates the requirements of the mosaic law. because it has a new law in Christ which fulfills the requirements of the old law (love God Love neighbor). it is the substance; the mosaic law was the shadow... Old/New, Death/Life.

We have known this for 2000 years. Thanks to the internet and a few cult groups such as SDA and Hebrew Roots. The heresy has been revived after the apostles resolved it i Acts 15 in the first century.

I'm sorry, I'm still struggling with the Faith of Christ from a Gentile converts position. I barely understand your spiritual position, to be able speak to your concerns.

So.. what I've done is rely on AI to answer your question, since it's so much quicker to read large volumes of liturature on these subjects...

Here is what AI returned, which I'm sure you'll understand far better than my limited understanding...

Part 1

The 8th Day, Firstfruits, and the Feast of Tabernacles — Ellen White, Pioneer Writers, and Messianic Insight

Unpacking the Statements
The Messianic Jew is making three distinct claims:

  1. Firstfruits is not a High Sabbath (a convocation/assembly day)
  2. Tabernacles is 7 days long, and then the 8th Day is its own distinct High Sabbath
  3. The 8th Day carries deep typological meaning throughout Scripture — including male circumcision on the 8th day
All three points are biblically defensible and align with how Pioneer writers understood the feasts as prophetic shadows pointing to Christ.

Claim 1: Firstfruits Is Not a High Sabbath
Leviticus 23:9-11 (KJV)
"And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying, Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest: And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall wave it."
Notice: no convocation is called, no holy assembly commanded for Firstfruits itself — unlike Passover (v.7), Unleavened Bread (v.8), Pentecost (v.21), Trumpets (v.24), Atonement (v.27), or the 8th Day (v.36). Firstfruits is a priestly wave offering day, not a commanded rest day for the congregation.
Pioneer writers and Ellen White understood Firstfruits as fulfilled in Christ's resurrection — He being the "firstfruits of them that slept" (1 Corinthians 15:20). It is a fulfillment day, not a convocation day. The Messianic Jew is correct — calling Firstfruits a High Sabbath conflates two different categories.

Claim 2: Tabernacles Is 7 Days, and the 8th Day Is Separate and Distinct
Leviticus 23:34-36 (KJV)
"Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto the LORD. On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein... On the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein."
Leviticus 23:39 (KJV)
"Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto the LORD seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath."
This is unambiguous. Tabernacles runs Tishri 15–21 (7 days). The 8th Day — Tishri 22 — is its own distinct High Sabbath, called in Hebrew Shemini Atzeret ("the solemn assembly of the eighth day"). It is not part of Tabernacles — it is a separate appointed day that immediately follows.
The Messianic Jew is absolutely correct that this is widely misunderstood. Many Christians collapse the 8th Day into Tabernacles, but Scripture clearly separates them. This makes seven High Sabbaths in the annual cycle:

#FeastHigh Sabbath
1Passover (Unleavened Bread, Day 1)Nisan 15
2Unleavened Bread (last day)Nisan 21
3Pentecost/WeeksSivan 6
4Feast of TrumpetsTishri 1
5Day of AtonementTishri 10
6Feast of Tabernacles (first day)Tishri 15
7The 8th Day / Shemini AtzeretTishri 22
The 7th and final High Sabbath of the year is the 8th Day — exactly as the Messianic Jew states.

Claim 3: The 8th Day Throughout Scripture — Circumcision and New Beginning
Genesis 17:12 (KJV)
"And he that is eight days old shall be circumcised among you, every man child in your generations."
Leviticus 12:3 (KJV)
"And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised."
The 8th day circumcision is not arbitrary. Pioneer writers, particularly those examining the typological structure of Scripture, understood the number 8 as the number of new beginning, resurrection, and covenant entrance:

  • 7 = completion of the created order (the weekly cycle)
  • 8 = the day beyond completion — new creation, new covenant, resurrection life.
