Due to nothing but stupidity on my part, I am currently in a substantial financial hole. Maybe not substantial to others, but definitely substantial to me. To make matters worse, I work in sales. Normally, I get paid strictly commission, and I do have the ability to generate high revenue in just a few days' time. However, the past few days I have been training on a new product, and as a trainee I only get paid a measly hourly rate that is probably only slightly higher than what a fast food worker makes whereas my trainer gets all of the commission for the sales that I generate. Things being as they are, I spent some time crying out to God in prayer before leaving for work yesterday morning.

While praying, I sought to not magnify my problem in my mind, but to magnify God instead. I reminded him that he said that the nations are but a drop in a bucket in his sight, and that my problem, as big as it seems to me, is really nothing in his sight. I also reminded him of some of his miraculous means of provision in the past, like bringing a coin out of the mouth of a fish and bringing water out of a rock. I also told him that I was not going to limit him, like the children of Israel did in their wilderness journeys, by trying to figure out how he might help me.

To make a long story short, while I was at work yesterday, my trainer casually reached into his pocket and pulled out a folded-up plastic bag. He handed it to me and said that it was a small token of his appreciation because I had helped to generate so many sales for him over the past few days. I honestly figured that there would be candy in the bag, but I was surprised to see three very old silver coins in there instead. One from the year 1896 and two from the year 1918. I did a quick online search to see what they might be worth, and although they will not get me totally out of my hole, they are definitely a step in the right direction.

I just wanted to thank God for what he has done, especially for the manner in which he has already partially answered my prayer. I have only known the man who gave me the coins for three days, and that is definitely not a way in which I could have ever imagined that God would give me financial provision.

'Thank you for sharing.
I have learned on my spiritual journey, that prayers are often answered in ways not expected.
And striving to maintain a spiritual "awareness" things often come about in ways that
surely may address an issue that has been prayed about.
Amen

Today was even stranger than yesterday. For the last 5 days, I have been working far away from home. I literally did not know a single person in this area before last Thursday. From Thursday thru Sunday, I was being trained as a sales rep on a new product. Today was my first solo day in this region, and I start a new show in my normal region of the country on Thursday. My trainer showed up at the end of the day, and I helped him break down his display. The first thing that he did when he saw me was reach into his pocket. Again, he handed me a bag with silver coins in it. Four of them, this time. I later did a quick search online for the worth of the coins, and according to one website, one of them may be worth thousands of dollars. I plan on stopping at a coin dealer's shop on my drive back home tomorrow. We will see how this all works out.

No matter what happens, I am floored by this whole situation. Seemingly, God heard my prayer and answered it through someone who was but a stranger a few days ago. Not only that, but in what could probably be called a foreign place because I had never been there before.

Am I overreacting, or does this sound supernatural? Why would this man give me several silver coins of value? I feel like I should write a psalm or something, especially since my problem was the direct result of my own stupidity. I did sincerely repent, and it presently looks like God has shown mercy to me.

One uncanny occurrence after another.

@passion84god I really don't like salespeople, but I'm buying what you're posting. Add that to how God can readily shift anyone in your favour. :)

I don't like salespeople either, but I definitely don't match the stereotype. I politely and respectfully approach everyone, and then I simply explain to them the benefits of what I am selling. I leave the decision making entirely up to them.

The guy who just finished training me is the polar opposite. In fact, the Assistant Manager at the store we were selling in angrily pulled me to the side on Saturday. She thought that I was his trainer, and not the other way around, and she basically commanded me to reprimand him or else she was going to throw him out of the store. Apparently, she received a lot of complaints about how rude and aggressive he is. Ultimately, she tore his head off herself.

That makes my testimony even stranger. A maniac giving me a bunch of silver coins. I have heard the expression "the Devil is in the details" before, but I definitely see God in the details here.

I started a new cooking show as of 8 a.m., and my skillet pan and warmers never got delivered yesterday, so I am just sitting around and waiting for the Amazon driver to show up.

3 hours and 15 minutes wasted already.

I can't make any sales or commissions this way.

Just one easy day.

That's all that I ask for.
