Demons have no legal rights!

if any doctrine or website or person tells you this, it is a red flag for they have a demonic stronghold in their mind and have allowed a lie to take root and grow into a tare that will eventually choke out the Word of GOD unless they remove it.

to combat this weed ask them this simple question:

what legal right did Satan have to tempt Jesus in the desert?

what unconfessed sin, what darkness was in Jesus?

then pray.

HAHA. Did God really say...? That's a pretty old tactic wouldn't you say?

I think the bible is Truth and what comes up against the word of God should be questioned as to its motive.

michael I think I'm just going to pray for and about you for a while.

I don't think anyone who does not have the Holy Spirit teaching them and guiding them has any wisdom worth knowing. therefore though Origen may have some truth about this world in his writings, can't say I have read too many of them, he has no understanding of God's truth. I affirm that the Bible is divinely inspired by God that prophecies and reveals Jesus Christ to the world.

there are two types of wisdom:

James 3
13 Who is wise and understanding among you? Let him show by good conduct that his works are done in the meekness of wisdom. 14 But if you have bitter envy and self-seeking in your hearts, do not boast and lie against the truth. 15 This wisdom does not descend from above, but is earthly, sensual, demonic. 16 For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. 17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, willing to yield, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality and without hypocrisy. 18 Now the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

I will pray and study and speak with others concerning the text and questions you have raised and get back to you on them.

Patience the key words for everyone is Prayer and Patience.

I believe the problem is our understanding of it. Satan never LITERALLY appeared to any of us for the purpose of tempting, and neither did satan appear to Jesus. This was a battle WITHIN HIS OWN SELF.

Philippians 2:5-8

5Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

6Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

7But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

8And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Funny, that can ONLY ever be an opinion, i see no reason why that could not have been literal. Was the appearing of angels throughout the OT also internal and not a literally manifestation and appearing?

It all depends on what you consider satan to be. Literally, is satan both Lucifer and the king of Tyre?

Plus let us not forget He was tempted in all points as we are. I don't know about you all, but satan never literally appeared to me.

Alot of the false spiritual warfare is because people are trying to teach doctrines not found in the Bible. False doctrines about spiritual warfare include such things as the blood of Jesus and like you said "rights" doctrines. Many supposed teachers of these doctrines pretend to have special insight, when they really just do not know their Bibles. God never gave us one drop of Jesus' blood to win the lottery or spread on our door post to keep demons out. God also did not give us a list of rights to the universe to tell the devil he has no rights. We are to resist the devil and he will flee. For whatever reason God allows the devil to bother people like he did Job or Jesus, telling the devil he has no rights has no Scriptural backing. He might even have God's permission like in Job. Who are we to judge our God? Job stayed faithful to God and Jesus used the Scripture to fight the Devil. That is what we should do.

yes i do believe that the Bible teaches about spiritual warfare by telling us to remain faithful to god and to use Scripture to fight the Devil. there is so much false teaching out there about it though.

Israel I believe that Satan appeared before Jesus not just in His head.

I've meet demons and seen people be attacked by them and angels rescue them through the prayers of others over the people. all through the power and will of GOD but its not something you want to see everyday and tends to get people hackles up when you mention it.

It happens all the time, its just for our safety and sanity we are not always shown what is happening around us. If you pray and ask God and believe He can open your eyes to it but would it not be better just to pray and ask for protection and have faith in His unseen promise. for signs and miracles are for unbelievers.

Luke 2
34 Then Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary His mother, “Behold, this Child is destined for the fall and rising of many in Israel, and for a sign which will be spoken against 35 (yes, a sword will pierce through your own soul also), that the thoughts of many hearts may be revealed.”

the conversation of spiritual gifts and what they truly are is a whole another topic.

Matthew 4:5
(5) Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Matthew 4:8-9
(8) Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;
(9) And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

So are you saying that this happened within His own mind? That it didn't really happen?

2 Corinthians 11:14
(14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

The Bible says that Satan transforms into an angel of light, so he would have appeared as an angel of light to Christ. Just because you have not seen it does not mean it is not true. Satan will appear as someone good to deceive.

What origin are you referring to? Nothing in the Bible is fiction. There are parables but nothing is fiction.

And yes, they actually do have "legal rights" given to them by God. The world is theirs. They have a "right" to be here, God gave them that "right." The Kingdom is God's though. They have NO rights to God's Kingdom.

Is this the origen you are talking about?

ORIGEN ADAMANTIUS of ALEXANDRIA
Lived from A.D. 185 to A.D. 254
(1) Origen was an early “Christian” scholar, who taught in Alexandria, and in A.D. 203 revived the Catechetical School that was founded by Pantaenus.
(2) He is considered by liberal and conservative scholars as one of the greatest of all Christian theologians.
(3) He was the most influential man connected with textual criticism.
a) textual criticism: the identification and removal of errors from texts and manuscripts.
(4) He was the first major corrupter of the Scriptures in history.
SOME OF ORIGEN’S BELIEFS
* He believed in infant baptism and baptismal regeneration.
* He believed that the communion atones for sins.
* He took Matthew 19:12 literally and mutilated himself, becoming a eunuch, hoping it would get him into the kingdom of heaven.
* He taught that many verses in the bible were “absurd” and “unreasonable”.
* He removed the word “carpenter” from Mark 6:3, because he didn’t think it should be there.
* He believed in soul transmigration, soul sleep, and reincarnation.
* He believed that Peter wrote one of the gospels.
* He believed that Jesus Christ was a created god (hence, the NASV and NWT reading of John 1:18).
* He believed in universal salvation (a second chance for salvation after death).
* He did not believe in the literal return of Jesus to this earth.
* He taught that the “field” in Matthew 13:38 was Jesus Christ.
* He denied the office of Christ as our high priest and taught a priesthood of men on this earth.
* He didn’t believe that the Genesis account of creation was literal.
* He said, “an infant not baptized goes to hell”.
* He didn’t believe in the physical resurrection of Christ (or of anyone else).
* He believed that the Apocryphal books were inspired.
* Origen was very religious, but there is no indication that he was ever saved!

just because demons claim the world does not mean God gave it to them. Its a lie. if you want to believe that lie it is your choice, but here are some Bible verses you should think about:

Colossians 2:13-15
New King James Version (NKJV)
13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, 14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it

God is Lord of Heaven AND Earth. when did He give that dominion to anyone except Adam?

Do you have a Bible verse that affirms Satan's claim or do you just listen to the deceiving spirits whispering in the ears of undiscerning people?

I believe that the scriptures are pretty clear. God gave mankind dominion over the earth which is why God chooses to work through men (and women) who surrender themselves to the call and will of God to establish his kingdom here on earth.

However, demons too can have dominion over territory through men in a position of power who have given themselves over to their control. Adolf Hitler being a prime example.

yep that would be the one he is referring to and those listed in red would be the reason I would take anything Origen wrote with a grain of salt and a lot of scripture.

No where in the Bible is a baby baptized. Jesus was not baptized until He was 30.

that is just one among many things wrong with Origen's theology.

Agreed. There are few things that are so tiresome as those hypercharismatic wackos.

My motive is pure, I assure you. I just want to know. For ignorance is the plague which has and continues to, rip our species apart and so if I can be further enlightened in a bid to help others and myself, let me make no friends, let me suffer the crucifixion of judgement, for it is a worthwhile sacrifice for the good of humanity. Also, keep in mind that Jesus was a heretic!
Maybe I can help out with that a little. The bible says the fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. The bible says that worldly wisdom is foolishness to God. The bible says that God takes men in their own craftiness.

The bible says that if you humble yourself and cry out to the Lord, He will save you. The bible says you should pray for wisdom and understanding in the knowledge of the Lord.

What is "ripping our species apart" is ignorance of the Lord Jesus Christ. Through Him we can overcome. The Lord Jesus says I Am the Way, the Truth and the Life, none can come to the Father but by Me. The Lord was already crucified for the good of Humanity. The Unblemished Lamb of God.

So can you explain how and why Jesus was a heretic? A pretty bold assertion with nothing to back it up.. How about some proof?

to combat this weed ask them this simple question:

what legal right did Satan have to tempt Jesus in the desert?

what unconfessed sin, what darkness was in Jesus?

then pray.
Satan had every right. We know this how?

1. Jesus did not say he had no right. If Satan had no right, he would have said so.
2. Satan could have given Jesus the earth. If Satan had no claim with with to base his offer. Than Jesus would have correctly said, You do not have any right, or power to give me what you are offering.

The world as a whole might belong to God. But the people who inhabit the earth (if they are not saved. Belong to satan. Jesus even calls Satan their father..Because they are his. And will be unless they come to Christ.
