Didnt I just say, Faith realizes the object of faith saved or healed them. Who is the object of that persons faith ?

That is not the point of contention, the point of contention is whether that faith was gifted to her.... which is nowhere in the text in order to be consistent you would have to affirm that faith was bequeathed.

The same reason Paul kicked against the pricks. The same reason most people, myself included, do not believe the gospel the first time hearing. Sometimes, the soil is so hard, it takes time to loosen. Some, have so been indoctrinated by other beliefs (blinded by Satan) that God hands them over.

And we can also note that Paul clearly stated...

Acts 26:19 “So then, King Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the vision from heaven.

Yes, even Paul decided to yield himself to God.
I see nowhere in the passage where Paul states he was gifted belief.

To be clear, Sanctification in Scripture is not the slow moral self‑improvement project most Christians imagine; it is the act of God setting a person apart by giving them a new heart, a new nature, and a new allegiance before they ever believe.

Sanctification is positional (this is found in Hebrews) and it is also a process, in the sense that we learn to live outwardly the new nature.

It is not possible for sanctification to preceded justification because to be justified is to be declared right, and sanctification reflects the declared status.

Another one of Calvin's false doctrine:

Calvin believed that baptism is not merely a ritual but a sacrament that signifies and seals God’s promises, including the promise of salvation and covenant membership. He argued that infants of Christian parents should be baptized because they are part of the covenant community, just as Jewish infants were included through circumcision.

Of course, the children of the "elect" will also be elect. God forbid if not...

Pelagius and his followers (free willers) deny that Adam's sin had any affect on humanity, teaching that man
possesses the godlike ability to perfectly obey God's commands despite Scripture plainly stating otherwise.

gospelfoolishness.png

The gospel is foolishness to the natural man, since he can neither accept nor comprehend the spiritual things of God. It is impossible for his incurably wicked heart to grow the seed of God’s Word into the good fruit of faith while he is captive to the will of the devil. Along with the rest of the world who does not know God, he is blinded to the truth and under the power and influence of Satan, rendered incapable of submitting to or obeying God, with Whom he is inherently hostile toward in his mind, for he craves what is contrary to the Spirit. He suppresses the truth in unrighteousness, refusing to come into the light because he is a slave to sin, a lover of darkness, defined as darkness itself, and his deeds are evil.

John14-17a-Romans8-6-9.png

John 14 v 17a, Romans 8 v 6-9 ~ “Inability” in Bible. The world cannot receive the Spirit of truth. The mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace, because the mind of the flesh is hostile to God: It does not submit to God’s law, nor can it do so. Those controlled by the flesh cannot please God. You, however, are controlled not by the flesh, but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ. Praise be to God for calling me out of the world.

Actually, faith = MFW, which God gives every human soul, making them responsible for the sin of choosing to ignore Him and believe Satan's lies, beginning with A&E (Gen. 3:3-6). Everyone walks by faith (2Cor. 5:7).

Which is it? Positional or process?

The problem with tulip is that it depicts God as unjust and hating half of humanity, which is heresy!
God probably hated more than that, if what happened at the flood during Noah time is an indication, you think Noah put a sign outside the ark telling the rest of the people, smile God loves you still while He suffocates you to death.

Was I talking about TULIP?

HeisHere and I are not sure. Perhaps you could explain how what you said does NOT affirm TULIP?

"The Scriptures teach with remarkable consistency that God Himself supplies the heart that believes. In the Old Testament, Ezekiel declares that God removes the “heart of stone” and gives a “heart of flesh,” placing His Spirit within His people so that they will walk in His ways (Ezek. 36:26–27). Ezekiel 11:19–20 repeats the same pattern, and Jeremiah 24:7 makes the purpose explicit: “I will give them a heart to know Me.”

The ability to trust and obey God is not native to fallen humanity; it is the result of God’s creative, regenerating act. The New Testament intensifies this truth. Jesus teaches that no one can come to Him unless the Father draws him (John 6:44) and that only those whom the Father gives to the Son will believe (John 6:37).

In John 3, the new birth is the necessary precondition for seeing or entering the kingdom—the Spirit must give life before faith can arise. Paul echoes this when he says that God shines light “in our hearts” to give the knowledge of Christ (2 Cor. 4:6) and that God “made us alive together with Christ” (Eph. 2:5).

Across both Testaments, the logic is unified and unmistakable: regeneration precedes and produces faith. God creates the believing heart, and our faith is the evidence of His prior, life‑giving work."

You are aware there was 2 bloodlines and one came from the Fallen Angels that the Bible proclaims chose to oppose God and try to stop the bloodline leading to the Messiah that would have ran through the lineage of Seth?

I doubt that God loved the Nephilim seeing that according to Hebrew/Jewish (which Yeshua would have believed) beliefs were the seed of Fallen Angels that at death became demonic spirits.

So what you are saying doesn't add up.

This is kinda funny because until I read threads on this topic I had no idea about Calvin and Armenian. I had to study both of them to understand what the posts were claiming. I even had to study Augustine. I'm Protestant as far as beliefs since that's primarily the Gospel of Yeshua but we never made this a topic to preach about either for or against.

It's why I believe in both viewpoints partially.

Yes the ability to believe all manner of things exists within each person, and the ability to place our faith in all manner of ideas, people etc., etc.,exist within each person.

To say God has decided to create human beings from birth in state of being prohibited from placing their faith in Christ Jesus unless he allows it, is not biblical and I could use stronger language but I will not but the word would be accurate.

Are you sure that is the right question?

First of all, if I was trying to affirm TULIP, I would have stated it somewhere in what I said.

Second of all, TULIP is a five-point theological framework. One can not affirm TULIP all at once. One needs to deal with each of the five points individually. Which of the five points of TULIP was I affirming?

Finally, why does it matter? All that REALY matters is whether or not what I said is true.

You were right. Seems we are going to yell "Calvin" from now on. I don't get it.

What is there to get, it is not yell it is a descriptor, and if you do not like having that descriptor perhaps abandon ship and learn what the Bible really teaches about the ordo salutis.

This is a teaching he created, so there is no way to disassociate yourself from it and why would you want to if you think it is actually supported by scripture?

"Election is the unchangeable purpose of God, whereby, before the foundation of the world, he hath out of mere grace, according to the sovereign good pleasure of his own will, chosen, from the whole human race, which had fallen through their own fault... a certain number of persons to redemption in Christ" (Institutes, Book 3, Chapter 21, Section 7). [1]

Which is it? Positional or process?

I think I explained that.

So you agree then that sanctification cannot precede justification, now some people try to get around this by claiming that the so

called elect are given some type of "internal life" which is not saving "life" to respond positively to Gospel.

So they teach a sort of "splitology" very unsuccessfully I might add, this splitology claims

regeneration (given a new heart in order to believe) is not salvation it is just some kind of internal activation, of course this not owed

to anyone because ultimately Calvinism is very transactional, this allows them to calm any qualms they may have about poor

Aunt Betty who never received the activation.
