Yes, of course!
Well I didn't take too many photos as was busy having fun

Drove to sis place and she took over from there. At first she didn't know how to drive my car and was having all sorts of problems like she didn't use the footbrake and the tires needed pumping up, but once we got that sorted we were away.

I bought some gummies - multicoloured jet planes, and some tic tacs,
The car was loaded up with our gear and I relaxed as Sis drove 1 and half hours to Cambridge. I put on my music, I also had road trip games. We stopped at nice cafe to have lunch, (rosti and eggs) and had a look round the rather posh town, home of athletes and horse breeders, and looked in the museum, where I got to type on an actual typewriter (haven't done that in decades!)

After lunch we got back on motorway express and hour to Rotorua, the spa/geothermal town, or as locals call it 'RotoVegas'. Sis booked us room in hotel and the beds were Queens and sooo comfortable. We checked in, and then went to the town, walk round the lake, and had dinner at an Italian restaurant, I had mussels and pina colada, was too full for dessert. Then went back to hotel and watched Netflix in bed.

The next day....

Wow it sounds like you both had a great time. I'm glad you did. 😊

The next day after a full hotel breakfast, my sis wanted to go for a walk, though it threatened rain, thankfully it held off. I had raincoat and umbrella just in case, and we walked in the bush near this river that used to generate power back in the day, but the rapids are now used by kayakers for fun.
There was also a cave with glow-worms. We did a loop walk that went up a ridge with a look out onto the hills. The rain held off
Then we went to a nearby cafe and had a drink. I had a tropical smoothie and sis had a gingerbread latte.

Then she said we had to be back in town by 3 as she had a surprise for me as a birthday gift. So we had to find a place to have lunch as was hungry. We looked in another touristy gift shop and nearby cafe that promised soup, but they said they didn't do soup on Sundays, and nobody else was around that was having lunch. I considered hangi, as was written on the board, but hangi is no good if it isn't shared with everyone.
So we went back to town and found another cafe that was busier ie. had people eating so the food must be good, and both of us had seafood chowder with crusty bread and butter and it was soo good.

Then went back to hotel, my sis said get changed into togs underneath and don't bring too much. i guessed that we would be going to this new luxury spa and hot springs. My sister had booked for us a 2 hour wellness journey to have spa, sauna, and mud packs!

Then after being sufficiently soaked and pampered we had dinner at a Vietnamese restaurant, I chose wonton soup, to share with fried noodles, and that was yummy too.

Tired we got 'home' to luxury beds. We had to leave the next day and check out at 10,

Also it was Kings Birthday, so everyone had an extra day holiday...

Wow, only Tourist really wants to go anywhere...to Alaska!

Wot these other peeps want to sit alone in their rooms and not join the cruise buffet?

Or...those worn out travellers having first world travel problems (TOO much wine and dine?) ran out of money...or got tired of life and left London. IDK.

Even Pipp has a staycation...in hospital.

So Zero Turbulence, are you actually going to go places or just want some ideas? Are you in California? I know so many people dreaming of going to LA. When a friend of mine went, I asked her, did she go to Disney Land? And she was like, no she didn't go. I was like WOT.

She's the biggest Lion King Disney fan ever, and she didn't even set foot in Disney Land when she had the opportunity to go.
Well, I just might need to take her there myself, as I've never been either.

Ok cruise shippers, we have a list - need to have seaports people. In some sort of round the world order. Don't know how long this will take..at least 80 days but I think you can swing it as a hop on hop off cruise.

Greek Islands, Venice, Miami? Baton Rouge?
Sydney...Waikiki, Vancouver?

I come from a seafaring nation. It's nothing to travel around the world as thats how most of us got here in the first place.

Israel of course.
The center of the universe.

( no believers on this site want to go there?????)

I didn't leave anything in israel. I don't have anything I want to see in israel. I have Jesus right here.

There was a lot of stuff that happened in israel, but that is a was, not an is. There is a lot of stuff happening in Israel right now, but I don't want to be part of any of it.

That is so sad.

What a wise brother 👏 🙌
Fear of the Lord is beginning of wisdom 🙏

Tel Aviv?
Istanbul? Not Constantinople?
Cinque Terre?

Nobody wants to go to Rio de Janeiro?

Wisdom is the beginning of wisdom.
It is as if you are saying "Jesus returns and sets up his kingdom is a insignificant place."
"Jesus makes a poor choice."

Ok
I get it.
I just realized this is replacement theology anti semite spirit operating in here.

Huh????
Please don't put words in other people s mouth!!!
" As if....."
If that's your thought, go claim it yourself!!!
Do not speak for other people.

In America, people are allowed to speak for themselves. The basic human rights. No need for you to speak for me.

But if you are speaking for yourself, then go on.

I recently watched a documentary where Joanna Lumley went on a quest to find Noah's Ark.
It took her to Turkey where Mount Ararat is.

But I don't think our cruise ship is gonna make it on top of a mountain, unless it was an underwater volcano.

Lynx doesn't have to go to Israel if he doesn't want to, it's his choice. He can stay home, or stay inside his cabin playing video games if he wants. We'll let him.

I am not sure how our ship will make it through the Suez Canal, but we can try, or we need to go round the world the other way.

I made a list of places outside of the country that I think would be smashing to visit. Anyone of them would be fascinating...

-Australia, because according to another thread on here it's where big, dangerous spiders are...and I love spiders!

-The rock-hewn churches of Lalibela in Ethiopia. I think they are fascinating, and it would be nice to see Ethiopia in general.

-Petra, Jordan to gaze at the rock-cut architecture. I guess there's something about rock-cut places that grab my attention.

-Mongolia, going by the videos/pictures I've seen, it looks like a breathtaking place.

-Machu Pichu, another place where the views look amazing.

-and I wouldn't mind going on a Creation Ministries tour of Egypt.
