The other's are listed in Ezekiel 16:48-50 in that she/they had plenty of bread(rich) but in their pride they did not strengthen the poor and needy. Oh yes, and there are plenty of verses in the NC too. I’m assuming people know about the ancient cities of S&G; the biggest destruction of these kinds of people. Nothing has changed…..

Give us the translation that uses the word "sodomy" anywhere. I know of no translations that uses the word. The KJV uses the word "sodomites" in the OT, but never the new. The NRSV uses "sodomites" in the NT, but nowhere in the OT. So it is problematic to point to the word "sodomite". Sorry TruthDefender, it was not you writing that to which I am replying, it was DeanM.

Of course the Holy Spirit will lead them away from lgbtq once converted, but it's no guarantee they won't be like that as a converted person.

I agree with you to a point. I don't think you really understand your statement.

When we say that, there is a serious implication we are making.

1. The Saving power of Jesus is not absolute.

Here is the question I have for you, why does one not immediately stop after Jesus set them free?

I will tell you The House has been clean but not filled . Matthew 12:43-45

Here is the reason why it seems salvation and freedom is not secured. Jesus gave the understanding in the Parable of the Sower. Matthew 13.


1. the church is not disciplining them
2. The person has not been separated from those who are still bound by what the new Christian was.
3. The LGBTQ hit squads will pursue the person if they are not removed from the location they were in.
The LBGTQ is a cult now if you did not know.

4. Free will, one can choose to return. Which is also a what happens when the other issues prior listed happens.

Jesus sets one free is free indeed. But we must separate from the world. And be discipled . There are sexual addictions , pornography', and abuse that has happen to many in this addiction to Homosexuality . Some in the church have pacified those in this sexual addiction because they themselves struggle with secretly. How many ministers and pastors have we seen " Come out of the Closet" after being caught in a homosexual relationship? After they so strongly preached against it. The list is quite long.

There are good ministries that have helped ,any who were in sexual idolatry. Who were homosexual , bi, trans come out and live and great life before the lord. Yet it will never happen unless one separates from the environment they were in . The Lord God has called us to Be HOLY as HE is Holy(separate) .

We as Christian will never fit in with the world, we were called no to be separate. Yet many churches want just that.


They need a strong Christian program. Not from gay doctors , and other people who support and are bound by this sin.

I live in CA, we have 35 % of the nations homeless in my state. the majority on the street are drug addicts and mentally ill. after CA wasted 12bill to fix the homeless, it got worse not better.

They gave drugs , needles , hotel vouchers, and up to 33K a year to live on the streets. The Cities and State put them in hotels and had maids acting like social workers. With help like that why would any one ever be free from addiction or helped with a cognitive issue?

They won't. Same with Sexual sin.

Not just males were involved in this sin, it was the youth and old, men and women!

The account shows violence, an attempted rape. This has nothing to do with a simple male-to-male romantic relationship!

"As I live, saith the Lord GOD, Sodom thy sister hath not done, she nor her daughters, as thou hast done, thou and thy daughters. Behold, this was the iniquity of thy sister Sodom, pride, fulness of bread, and abundance of idleness was in her and in her daughters, neither did she strengthen the hand of the poor and needy. And they were haughty, and committed abomination before me: therefore I took them away as I saw good." (Ezek 16:48-50, KJV) *I'll take what the Lord GOD says over any creature!

The English "abomination" here is the Hebrew to ebah and Ezekiel uses this word 41 times, 37% of all the usage in the OT. In Ezekiel especially, this is indicating idols and things connected to idolatry.

From history we know what the Jews thought the sin of Sodom was about the year 180 BC -
"Neither spared he the place where Lot sojourned, but abhorred them for their pride." (Sirach 16:8 KJVA)

"He did not spare the neighbors of Lot, whom he loathed on account of their arrogance." (Sirach 16:8 NRSVA)

Ik the story. God sent an Angel to destroy the cities; they took lot, his wife, and 2 daughters w/o their husbands…..

What would you like me to call sodomites? There are many different words. You pick one.

I didn’t use that word. These were the city names. Their sin was grave! Read the story.

Absolutely nothing in that if the Lord blesses a tree to grow into a mighty nation filled with shade and food to be a blessing in the earth if that tree determines no longer to feed them nor gather theses into that shade it will be hewn down. If people are truly penitent, only God can change their heart. Some of the Gentiles were sinful in Jesus’ time, but they repented.

In grade school we played football on the playground.
We didn't have many rules.
We called it Smear the Queer.
I doubt many of us knew what a queer was at that age but it's a fitting term IMHO.

you are correct but if you read Romans 1 and 1cor 10-11 those gentile churches were in an aera where temples were built to sexual gods. They have public orgies and prosecution. This was the culture. made SF look like a haven for children . What does repent mean ?


Stop the way you are going and return to GOD. do a 180 *. Separate yourself unto the lord. Yet God can and does change the heart amen. YET the heart of man no one can know the bible says. Solomon had his heart taken why? Because he did not guard it.

Prov 4:23 "Keep your heart with all diligence, For out of it spring the issues of life."

Once Jesus has set one free we must use that freedom to draw close to GOD as now we have been made to come near to him.

The Greek term used is heteros sarkos, which literally means flesh of "another kind" or "unnatural" flesh.

The USA should not be viewed as rich until it retires the $40 trillion debt,
but if you want to help the poor just give your money to them directly.
