The reason being is This movie is said to represent the "truth." The story goes that this world was seeded by a master race of alien, and sent 'watchers' to watch study and not to interfere with human development. But for reasons undisclosed/Perhaps "the sons of God saw the daughters of men" and did interfere. Meaning these 'watcher aliens' aka demons, help mankind by teaching us how to develop and thrive, They provided technological advances, and social structure. This social structure is what the movie focuses on. More specifically, the social structure introduced as religion. Specifically the big three religions. I can only assume at this point but the RC church and the governments of the world are all going to come out, and say that Jesus was one of them, and none of what we believe is real.

Now the knee jerk thing to do is to laugh this off and say 'it's only a movie.' The problem with this dismissal is that the US government per Trump executive orders is declassifying all of the extra terrestrial stuff we have, and there are congressnial committee members who a test to much of what I've said here. That the are aware of non human biologics and one congressman goes so far as to describe what the know races of aliens are said to look like:

@ 20 min 24 seconds in this congressman on a fox new podcast describes the 4 primary alien races:

I point this out to say that this is coming and we are going to have to choose to remain with Jesus or side with 'science.' What I don't mean is we must hang on to the idea of God being magic and wizardly. At the same time I do not believe we need to just swallow whatever these alien/demons are saying.

Satan is know for his 1/2 truths. I think Technically speaking that God, Satan, the angels demons etc are infact "Non Human biologics." (What they are calling aliens. We know God is Spirit and not flesh. He created this world which means He can't be from this world aka 'alien/Extra Terrestrial." So do not loose heart, because God is not "The Spirit in the sky" church tradition paints Him to be. Even if He is what 'science' and the media would call an alien/non human biologic. Remember This world belongs to satan. There are over 30 verses that describe satan as the master, ruler, prince of this world. Which means he controls our Media. Our Movies/Spielberg, our tv, our news and yes even out government's leaders. So of course we are going to be bombarded with every media outlet describing God in the worst possible light. And He will describe Himself and His efforts as being good and moral while He paints God like a thanks type of alien coming to destroy mankind.

This is coming and it is something we are all going to have to deal with

Um
It's a movie. It's Steven Spielberg. It's not Schindler's List.
Its not Back to the Future. It doesn't sound like E.T

How seriously do Americans take these things? I thought Americans mostly worship mammon God on their money. The Box office makes plenty of money, but, Netflix is giving Box office/cinema released films a run for their money. Is this a Netflix film or a only in cinemas film? Who is producing/ releasing the film? 20th Century Fox that is sooo last century?

You need to check the provenance. It's a movie, not a documentary.

Is it a knock off of Independence Day, or Men In Black. IDK
I saw the movie ad poster for it, but it didn't appeal to me. I was more keen to watch the Emily movie.
I've recently seen The Devil Wears Prada 2 (devil played by Meryl Streep) about the evils of the fashion world.
I've also seen Sheep Detectives, I quite enjoyed that one. It's about sheep trying to solve a murder mystery. The sheep talk with each other but the humans don't understand them.

Finding Emily it was called

Its about a boy who likes a girl called Emily but he only sees her once and he wants to see her again but can't find her and she didn't give him her number or last name. So he tries to find her and looks up the names of every girl called Emily in the directory or email. There are thousands upon thousands of girls called Emily. He has to eliminate them one by one to find the one he saw.

It would be a miracle if he did find her if she's not using Instagram or Facebook or Linkedin. There is a God!

I only saw the trailer, I don't know if the film is like that or going to mention God or have that Hallelujah or moment of epiphany at the end. You know, when the lightbulb turns on in the boy's head.

Possibly aliens could have abducted her or maybe she IS an alien just disguised as an Emily.

This might make me question my faith.

I think you missed this bit from the OP:

Go back to the fox new video link then fast forward to the 20 minute and 40 second mark. There you will see a sitting US congressman describing the 4 known species of alien currently on earth working with out governments. There are others. but these four we have made contact with.

maybe you ought get into the habit or reading fully before you respond. The movie was a soft lead in to the hard realities of what the US government is telling it's people.

funny you should mention this. one of the other congressmen said He was deeply disturbed at what the US government had done to US citizens who where in the wrong place at the wrong time and should not have seen what they saw.

I suppose such movies could cause some believers to doubt their standing in creation.

God made mankind in His image and likeness, giving us dominion over the earth. If something extra-terrestrial and technologically advanced touched down, those of weak faith could be susceptible to doubt our capacity as being made just a little lower than the angels.

I don't believe these beings are biological or celestial space travellers. The evidence points to interdimensional entities, something spiritual that's either always been here, or making regular incursions into our physical realm.

A Godless society is ripe to be deceived by design.

It's just another psyop to gain power. The last one faded already. It was some kind of new disease. The government whore investors in pharmaceuticals scared a lot of the world with their bbio weppin the covid creature. They ran plenty of drills for this exact disease prior to its release, so anyone who wants to know can read/listen to the Covid Cancer Shot thread.

Then they stole the peoples wealth, as much as possible, including my own. The whorish governments robbed their people to give to the Uber wealthy. They managed to kill off a lot of us.... because they are just like their father the devil.......the Drs, nurses, politicians and all the investors who benefitted from the deaths of innocent people.

I don't think Speilburg can still make a good movie judging from the trailers. I wouldn't watch it for entertainment. Maybe I'll watch some specific scenes on YouTube to get an idea what the psyop details are.
That's all it is.
There's a lot of fan fare about it destroying faith in God and the Bible.. It might do that to those who already rejected them..
It won't do a thing to true believers in >Christ.<

All the same, thank you for starting a thread on the subject because it needs addressed since this is a pop cult-ure thing that the US and other governments and trillionAires will likely try to use to deceive to gain wealth and power..

Spielburg didn't say Disclosure Day makes Christians doubt their faith; he wondered if it would make them doubt, and based on the timing of everything it's obvious it's a psyop designed for that very end. Best thing to do is just ignore and laugh at it.
exactly
I'm not watching a lot of nonsense and thankfully do not live in the US

As far as the film itself, I think Spielberg is putting cart before the horse. Right now there's no objective evidence of aliens, so what good does it do to explore the idea of what Christians would do if confronted with that reality? I'll cross that bridge when, and if, I get to it. In the meantime, science needs to worry about finding those elusive critters.

You did read the OP right?

Spielberg's movie was just a jumping off point to what is actually going on with the mandated full disclosure executive order from trump right?

That we have Congressmen telling us there are 4 known types of aliens that the US government/governments of the world are working with.

What if these aliens say, in an effort to bring humanity out of cave dwelling and inbreding we (aliens aka demons) gave man religion. We invented the Bible and the God of the Bible. In fact do you want to meet Jesus? This is the alien who you know as Jesus. Then let's say the RC church/pope jumps in and confirms all of this.

What would something this do to your faith?

What would something this do to your faith?

It's just another psyop to gain power.
But wouldn't this power grab potentially make the state weaker if these aliens/demons demand to be worshiped? If they come with super advanced tech, the ability to heal and clean no cost power, would that not make our governments subservient to them?

Spielberg's movie was a jumping off point to the Fox News video where it shows US congressmen describing the relationship they have with 4 different alien species. and one congressman point blank describes the 4 species.
