I love to hear you sing it instead.
Oh, thanks for that, and? I did used to sing, karaoke, LOL, but also a bit while playing guitar, though honestly the concentration it took to play kind of made vocal control difficult to focus on, and now with COPD, singing is probably out of the question altogether, not to mention the fact that register is lost with age. This is common and is clinically known as presbyphonia or presbylaryngis. It occurs as laryngeal muscles atrophy, vocal cords thin, and lung capacity decreases = loss of vocal range, stamina, and agility. I looked that up LOL.

I used to laugh when I saw included in the warnings for movies, contains smoking. But now I understand. The flesh is weak even when the spirit is willing. There have been times God completely removed the desire to smoke... and yet? I began again, a number of times. I have also been hospitalized and unable to smoke for days, and by the time I got home, even if I had no driving desire to smoke, and yet if cigs were there... one time it was, well, I will not inhale. LOL. Quit for seven years once. A relationship ending made me want to smoke again at three years clean but I got over it with the help of friends, and then a few years later? Relationship issues, oh yes, so easy to say it was that, when the truth is I made another bad decision. I quite again after that and was doing well three years in when something totally derailed me. Ugh. I was using smoking to push my feelings down. And I cannot tell you how many years I tried managing that which I am powerless over by smoking only three a day. Now? Now I have COPD and have a lung specialist. And don't smoke. I hope you can quit. Sooner better than later.
😞 I'm so sorry that u have COPD ❤️

I’ve been vaping/using tobacco since I was 16. I am now 32. I just got out of the hospital and quit for 4 days but I was miserable the whole 4 days and ran right back to my vape. I feel defeated because I have schizophrenia and I am on antipsychotics which block dopamine so I use nicotine to level out the dopamine in my brain. In other words the odds are stacked against me because I don’t have a normal brain anyways. I am so close to giving up. I also have bad gum disease from vaping.
It is commendable you want to stop vaping, but I would suggest you don't get too down if you cannot. There are worse things a believer could do

Better vaping than smoking . For your gums take a good calcium supplement every day , it should help but only if u get a decent strength and take it every day .

Thank you, I know you are a very sweet person, I admire a lot in you, and am also sorry for some of your life circumstances, also, but really, my COPD is my own fault, anyone who smokes pretty much knows they are playing Russian roulette, and sometimes I say, well, cancer was mentioned in the past but never this, but honestly, what difference would it have made? Smoking is a terrible addiction some say is harder than heroin to quit. Thank God I never did that. I was sensibly fearful of that drug even if not of others regardless of the fact that most of the time we had no idea what we were really ingesting. Just poor folly, really. Also now I notice the famous people, actors and musicians we knew who die of complications from this disease, eh, some are in their 80s, so that may not count as much. I do not expect to live that long and if I do it will surely be a miracle, though nobody has said, you have this long to live LOL. But I am aware of the limitations it has imposed on me. In fact I cannot ignore them.

I smoked from age 16 to age 41 , I stopped because cigarettes r very expensive in the UK . I smoked menthol and loved them , they ( menthol ) have been banned completely now in the UK so I couldn't start again even if I wanted to . I have to say that God helped me massively to give up .
I do hope that your COPD doesn't progress any further and that God continues to bless u with a long , healthy and happy life ❤️

Thank you, I do use inhalers, and with my lung specialist tracking the progression of the disease now, I periodically get sent to random tests, and have been told there has been some improvement, but what the machines show and what I experience are two different things. I did a treadmill test not long ago and was quite surprised my breathing did not become labored at all, but what happened was I had to stop because of the arthritis in my hips! LOL. So that may be the type of improvement they mean, though for me any exertion is felt. I cannot hurry, would not consider running, and even a slight sidewalk incline makes me slow down. I have not run for a long time any ways, but now I would say if I had to run for my life, I might as well just lay down and die because running would kill me anyways. I used to be a long distance runner but that was long ago and before I started smoking in earnest around the age of 15.

I was a runner too ! Short distances though , my best time for the 100 metres was 12-2 seconds , 25-5 seconds for the 200 .
I haven't ran for decades 😆😆😆 I would like to c us two have a race ! I have arthritis almost everywhere and I think I got it from.....exercise ! Using a rowing machine regularly in my 30's . Nevermind , we shall run and never get tired , one day ❤️

Sorry to hear about that. I can relate (to a degree) because it irratates my throat sing now, makes me cough. It's very sad to lose your singing voice.

Of course lots of great songs don't have perfect voiced singers in it, who'd often just ruin it.

But I'm sure you could bring the right delivery to your song. And of course you can lower the octave and lower your voice to keep the control you want. I bet people would love the song more than with the AI voice.

You should give it a shot! Plus, you could use the recording to inform a real-life singer (like from your church) how you want it sung. Do I seem pushy? :p

No, not pushy at all, and I would absolutely LOVE it if anyone wanted to cover one of my songs.

And it is a fact that for most of them I have improvements in mind LOL

Like here, I say
I ran from you in all my fear,
blind through every night,
carrying the weight of what we were
into your breaking light.

But I would change it to

I ran from you in all my fear,
Broken day and night,
Carrying the weight of what we were
Into your blinding light.
