The natural man does not accept the things that come from the Spirit of God. For they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them, because they are spiritually discerned. 1 Corinthians ch 2 v 14

Yeah it is True, Calvinism is the Gospel, and Im showing scripture support. Im not going to play bible hopscotch with you though.

Good luck on that day when all appear before the Judgement Seat. I hope your courage of your convictions are as strong as mine. Oh, wait, they may not be since you could not answer my direct question to you.

Simple thought:

IF Calvins teachings are true, then I was predestined to NOT believe them.

If Calvins teachings are not true, then by free will and the spiritual teachings of the Holy Spirit, I reject them as flawed theology. Either way it will all be revealed on that day.

lol, Im good, blessed, I hope God gives you faith to believe the Gospel
IF Calvins teachings are true, then I was predestined to NOT believe them.
Its true, but its possible you will believe in the future, its up to God

Yep we will find out a lot of things then my friend, may I see you there in peace !

g 'I have my own opinion( private opinion) that there is no such thing as preaching Christ and Him crucified, unless we preach what nowadays is called Calvinism. It is a nickname to call it Calvinism; Calvinism is the gospel, and nothing else." I like the fact he said private opinion. Then.. nothing else? Red flag.
Spurgeon correct on this !

The free will camp assumes, with no supporting text and contrary to many verses that evidence the opposite, that the man of flesh is free to choose, and will believe, that which he can neither receive nor comprehend, and to which he is inherently opposed with his uncircumcised heart of stone. There is simply no getting around the fact that this is the core of their belief, and it flies in the face of what Scripture actually teaches about the natural man who is a slave to sin and lover of darkness refusing to come into the light, blinded to truth and under the power and influence of Satan: he serves the law of sin which brings forth fruit unto death, not life. Without the indwelling Holy Spirit of God, his incurably wicked heart cannot be changed. He hates God, rejects the light, and hears the gospel message as foolishness. Praise the Lord if He has set you free!

The scriptures would not teach against something so obviously true. Everyone can see with their own eyes that Total depravity is not true. When our interpretations of the Bible violate the obvious, this is a clue that our interpretation is incorrect, especially interpretations that we inherited from others.

Correct, not one single scripture teaches regeneration prior to faith or that regeneration is separate from salvation.

So the doctrine is null and void ..... but they do have a bunch of verses completely out of context.

I do believe the reformation had to happen and I thank God for it. Then to put a belief system and teach it to others as the way they should view the gospel is returning to the former.
Such is the case of many religions To add or take away from the word of God is dangerous territory.
It would seem that men feel the need to capitalize on Gods good work.

It has been questioned that my Signature does not fully give my beliefs, my Confession of Faith, so here it is:

The Canons of Dort present the theology behind the acronym TULIP, and neither Calvin nor Calvinism is mentioned anywhere in that document. When Christians refer to themselves as full five-point Calvinists, they are usually referring to and in agreement with the Canons of Dort. In order to avoid the lies said about what Calvinists believe, read the full Canons of Dort and see what we Calvinists believe. The full text can be read: The Canons of Dort (1619): Full Text | Reformed Dogmatika

My chosen confession of faith is of the Particular Baptists and is fully in agreement with the Canons of Dort. My beliefs can be read online in that Confession: First London Baptist Confession of Faith of 1646 | DeclaringTruth.com

I hold to the 1644/1646 Baptist Confession rather than the 1689 Second London Confession of Baptists, which was a Baptist makeover of the Westminster Confession of the Presbyterians. I choose this earlier Confession for two main reasons.

One, nowhere in the 1644/1646 Confession do you see the Ten Commandments being taught, for early Baptists were closer to what is called New Covenant Theology. When Christ abolished the law at the cross, he abolished the entire law, because cutting up the law into Moral/Ceremonial/Civil is not stated in scripture, it is a theological construction.

Two, “XXVIII. – Those that have union with Christ, are justified from all their sins by the blood of Christ, which justification is a gracious and full acquittance of a guilty sinner from all sin, by God, through the satisfaction that Christ hath made by His death for all their sins, and this applied (in manifestation of it) through faith.” ... I easily adhere to that because it is written, “who was delivered up because of our offences, and was raised up because of our being declared righteous. Having been declared righteous, then, by faith, we have peace toward God through our Lord Jesus Christ,” (Rom 4:25-5:1 YLT)

“Therefore being justified by faith,.... Not that faith is at the first of our justification; for that is a sentence which passed in the mind of God from all eternity, and which passed on Christ, and on all the elect considered in him, when he rose from the dead; see Ro 4:25; nor is it the chief, or has it the chief place in justification; it is not the efficient cause of it, it is God that justifies, and not faith; it is not the moving cause of it, that is the free grace of God; it is not the matter of it, that is the righteousness of Christ: we are not justified by faith, either as God's work in us, for, as such, it is a part of sanctification; nor as our work or act, as exercised by us, for then we should be justified by works, by something of our own, and have whereof to glory; but we are justified by faith objectively and relatively, as that relates to the object Christ, and his righteousness; or as it is a means of our knowledge, and perception of our justification by Christ's righteousness, and of our enjoying the comfort of it;” John Gill, 18th C. Particular Baptist

My Reformed brothers disagree with these two points that I adhere to, but I don’t break fellowship over this. I can easily worship in comfort with the historically orthodox, confessional Presbyterians.

From a grammatical investigation of the text and a cross analysis with other texts salvation is the gift in Ephesians 2:8.
Scripture clearly teaches faith is the condition set by God in order to be declared righteous, starting with Abraham.

Jesus Christ loved the church and gave Himself for it for very specific results (Eph 5:25-27). 2

We must also keep in mind...

He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins
of the whole world.
1 John 2:2

All believers who lived outside of the Church age?
He also died for their salvation as well.

For not everyone in history, who is saved, will be the Bride of Christ.

You use the term phrase "All believers who lived outside of the Church age?" "Church age"?

The KJV version I believe is the first version to use the ecclesiastical word "church" in the NT only. Prior to the KJV you find the term "church" used in the OT as well. Literal translations such as the YLT do not use the word "church" at all. Literally one verse reads:

'Take heed, therefore, to yourselves, and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit made you overseers, to feed the assembly of God that He acquired through His own blood, (Acts 20:28, YLT)

On that day there was read in the book of Moses, in the ears of the people, and it hath been found written in it that an Ammonite and Moabite doth not come into the assembly of God--unto the age, (Neh 13:1, YLT)

The 1599 Geneva Bible used the word "church" 178 times, all in the Psalms.

Jesus Christ died for the OT church/assembly as well as the NT church/assembly.

I can't believe hows loyal you guys are to your creed of men.

But, we'll see when we appear before Him.

I'll let him deal with the clever sneaky ones.

Only the Church???

He did not die for Moses and Jeremiah's sins?
Yes, they are part of His Body the Church ! Moses suffered for Christ Heb 11:25-26

25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;

26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.

OT saints are not the Church.

Truly I say to you, among those born of women there has not arisen anyone greater than
John the Baptist! Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he." Matthew 11:11

The least in the Kingdom of heaven will be from the Resurrected Bride of Christ.

THINK! Abraham was promised and everlasting home on the new earth.

Our home?
Will be in Heaven!

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ,
who, by the power that enables him to bring everything under his control, will transform our lowly
bodies so that they will be like his glorious body."
Philippians 3:20-21

Remember this.... There is to be a New Heaven and New Earth!

Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away.
Also there was no more sea. Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven
from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. Revelation 21:1-2

We are in for something so fantastic we will need to learn new words to describe it!

Grace and peace ......

I believe it is, the Rom 11 olive tree proves it to me

But our citizenship is in heaven.

Same Place Abe and other heirs were looking for Heb 11

14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.

15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.

16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he hath prepared for them a city.
