No, that's looking at the entire Bible and history. Are the Jews all living in the entire land that God promised them from that time to this? Never to be uprooted again? No, that did not happen. All you have to do is read the borders the Bible set and see that the entire amount of land was not possessed and they certainly were uprooted again. So either you're misunderstanding or the Bible is wrong.
“I will send my terror before you, and will throw into confusion all the people against whom you shall come, and I will make all your enemies turn their backs to you. And I will send hornets before you, which shall drive out Hivite, Canaanite, and Hittite from before you.
I will not drive them out from before you in one year, lest the land become desolate and the wild beasts multiply against you. Little by little I will drive them out from before you, until you are increased and possess the land.” (Exod 23:27-30, RSV)
“Thus
the LORD gave to Israel all the land which he swore to give to their fathers; and having taken possession of it, they settled there. And the LORD gave them rest on every side just as he had sworn to their fathers; not one of all their enemies had withstood them, for the LORD had given all their enemies into their hands.
Not one of all the good promises which the LORD had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.” (Josh 21:43-45, RSV)
“And now I am about to go the way of all the earth, and you know in your hearts and souls, all of you, that not one thing has failed of all the good things which the LORD your God promised concerning you; all have come to pass for you, not one of them has failed. But just as all the good things which the LORD your God promised concerning you have been fulfilled for you, so
the LORD will bring upon you all the evil things, until he have destroyed you from off this good land which the LORD your God has given you, if you transgress the covenant of the LORD your God, which he commanded you, and go and serve other gods and bow down to them. Then the anger of the LORD will be kindled against you, and
you shall perish quickly from off the good land which he has given to you.” (Josh 23:14-16, RSV)
“Judah and Israel were as many as the sand by the sea; they ate and drank and were happy.
Solomon ruled over all the kingdoms from the Euphra′tes to the land of the Philistines and to the border of Egypt; they brought tribute and served Solomon all the days of his life.” (1Kgs 4:20-21, RSV)
“Thus King Solomon excelled all the kings of the earth in riches and in wisdom. And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.” (2Chr 9:22-23, RSV)
“And thou didst give them kingdoms and peoples, and didst allot to them every corner; so they took possession of the land of Sihon king of Heshbon and the land of Og king of Bashan. Thou didst multiply their descendants as the stars of heaven, and
thou didst bring them into the land which thou hadst told their fathers to enter and possess. So the descendants went in and possessed the land, and thou didst subdue before them the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, and didst give them into their hands, with their kings and the peoples of the land, that they might do with them as they would.” (Neh 9:22-24, RSV)
These words are so clear and emphatic, I must believe that Israel possessed all the land given to them! Any references that seem contradictory must be seen in their context and perspective. I will believe God rather than men!
