This is scrap book theology. Why would anyone sub divide the bible into verse fragments, then compile them in an order that supports a fore gone conclusion?

Would you take 2 or 3 sentences from 8 different secular books that was written by 8 different authors, reorganize those sentences to now read something completely different than what the original authors intended; and then claim this new message you have compiled from multiple sources was a secrete message that only the 'elect' can see and decipher?

Any time a 'plan of salvation' requires Special teachers, or uses denominationally specific information, or sources verse fragments from all over the bible, and requires they be assembled in a very specific order, (Like a scrap book) it's garbage. What is the difference between scrap book theology like this, and say a Joseph Smith Reading and translating from 'special golden plates that only he can see in a top hat; and a church who's gospel message was also assembled or taken from special 1 or 2 sentence blurbs that are taken from all of the NT and condensed in a way that only the elect can see?

Salvation according to Jesus has 2 requirements. We know this because Jesus was asked point blank What must we do to inherit eternal life in luke 10:
25 On one occasion an expert in the law stood up to test Jesus. “Teacher,” he asked, “what must I do to inherit eternal life?”

26 “What is written in the Law?” he replied. “How do you read it?”

27 He answered, “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’

Love God with all of your ability to do so, and love your neighbor as yourself. That is the complete and whole 'plan of salvation.' anything that needs to happen after that is specific to you and the 'talents' God gave you to work with. yes, in certain areas. a pastor once told me that when a small church is the situation, the pastor doesn't feel any great responsibility to perform a worthy sermon so in turn, he may feel shy in preaching on subjects that people may feel offended. & now-a-days, people are easily offended by just about anything. Jesus, never held back, why should pastors hold back?

I attend a small church. As an elder in that church, I feel that I am responsible for false doctrine from the pulpit. When the messages move from the gospel to the political, the pastor's days are numbered.

I'm saying, IF you have a 25 member church who are there every time the doors are open then for the most part it is safe to assume these people do not need to hear the milk of the gospel. They do not need an alter call to confess their sins every time we come together. They do not need "The Hard truth about sin and salvation or even election." Why because THEY ARE AT THE CHURCH EVERYTIME THE DOORS ARE OPEN!! (If they are an elect, these are they!) What people like this need Especially in a small church is not milk, but Meat to survive. They need to hear sermons on other topics like how to survive when you loose your job, How to have faith in God when the diagnosis was the cancer is back. What to do when the whole world seems like it is coming down around you and God is silent. How to apply the psalms as a means to generate hope, how to commune and contact God.

When I said we need to pick our battles I am saying it is time for life long christians to stop bickering about foolish subjects like this one because we spent too much time refining our arguments, and have nothing else of value to speak to our congregations about.

So the writer of Hebrews 5 was mistaken, or is he intentionally misleading people when He says:

11 Concerning this we have much to say that is hard to explain, since you have become hard of hearing. 12 For though by now you should be teachers, you need someone to teach you again the first principles of the oracles of God and have come to need milk rather than solid food. 13 Everyone who lives on milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby. 14 But solid food belongs to those who are mature, for those who through practice have powers of discernment that are trained to distinguish good from evil.

Milk here are those first principles of salvation. The Hebrew writer is actively rebuking this congregation because they should be past the fundementals of Christanity They should be TEACHERS, but they still need milk.

First of all, you have a funny name given to yourself, "Hated for no reason". You are who you are by your perception, not by others' perception. Secondly, no mature Christian hates anyone. We just stand our ground for the truth. If that is considered as hate, so be it. Now, let me answer your questions.
1. Total Depravity - No person is totally depraved. As you may know, we are a tripartite being. When God told Adam that he would surely die if he ate the forbidden fruit, God was speaking of his spirit. So, Adam after he ate the forbidden fruit, did die in his spirit, but his soul was quite alive. He could think, reason, decide and everything else. So, Adam was not totally depraved. So we were. We were not totally depraved. So, we could make the choice to choose Jesus when someone preached the gospel to us.

2. Unconditional Election - You said, "Because man is dead in sin, he is unable to initiate a response to God". When the Bible says that man is dead in sin, it is referring to his spirit, not his soul. Yes, a person's spirit is dead because of sin, but his soul is very much alive and active. When you refer to Romans 8:29-30, you consider predestination as pre-determination. Not so. Predestination is not pre-determination. Predestination is God fore-ordaining the destiny of a person who obeys God. The verse begins by saying, "For whom he did foreknow....". God knew in eternity past who would obey him, and who would not. So, God is faithful to lead those who obey him to the fore-ordained destiny.

3. Limited Atonement - First of all, God did not pre-determine who would be saved and who would not. God did have a fore-knowledge of it, but not pre-determined. If God pre-determines his atonement to a section of his creation, that would break his integrity as the loving Father. God loves all of his creation, not just some of them.

4. Irresistible Grace - If you say that God's grace cannot be resisted, then you are indirectly saying that man is created a robot. This is not true. The faculties of the soul are mind, will, and emotions. All of these are actively working in everyone whether they be saved or not. When you say that God's grace cannot be resisted, you are basically saying that the will of man is dysfunctional. This is absurd.

5. Perseverance of the saints - In John 15:4 when Jesus said, "Abide in me", he meant that we must commit ourselves to abide in him which is a choice that we should make. Of course, it is by the grace of God, we will be able to abide in Christ. Therefore, perseverance is a choice and not a bondage where God makes a person to abide in him whether he likes it or not.
