But the utility is not. A phone is a medium that allows you to acquire contents from the outside world, and you to share your contents with the outsideworld. Without this connection, even if your phone is made of gold, it's no better than a paper weight - or a gold bar.
Your simile specified value, and directly stated that the value of a phone is not related to its hardware. That is not only inaccurate, it is wildly inaccurate.
If you offer to give me a free phone, and give me a choice between a phone 15 years old loaded with the latest apps and a very modern phone that has nothing loaded, I will choose the modern phone every time. I can establish my own internet connection and load my files on it. I can't do anything much with a 15-year-old phone.

I mean... Just last night I used a phone with no connection to record the Wednesday night sermon. I can use it to take notes. I could have used it to record video of that sermon, if I had wanted to.
I can also use that phone as a level. Do you know you can check if the picture on the wall is level by using your phone? I can put my phone on an active washing machine to get the RPM during spin cycle. I can use it to calculate math problems.

So now it's "unbiblical" to desire marriage while single, and yet Paul in 1 Corinthians 7 allows marriage and even says it's better to marry than to "burn with passion."

15 yo phone wouldn't be compatible with any latest apps. If you set your own internet and load your files on it, it's equivalent to getting married, the contents you load is equivalent to your "partner'. The point is that the phone itself is not some king of an art piece, it connects you and your contents, that's its utility value. It is you who don't get it. Whatever contents you load into it, it comes from the outside, the phone ain't gonna generate its own contents.
So what? Is either the garden or Eden the whole planet earth? Yes or no? Were Adam and Eve supposed to stay there forever, had they not sinned? Or eventually going out to fill the earth?

Personally, I don't believe God's a Puppetmaster who's running every aspect of the Christian's love life. The Bible doesn't say anything about "soulmates." That idea comes from Greek philosophy and mythology.
How can there be such a thing when Jesus said there's no marriage in heaven? In 1 Corinthians 7:39 Paul even says that a widow can marry whoever she wants, as long as they're a Christian.
