I have a love for New Zealand. I lived in Auckland for a while when I was an Anglican Franciscan brother. As an Aussie, I was welcomed, even though we beat the Kiwis at the cricket. I eventually married a lady from Christchurch. No more love for New Zealand on here?
Am I like the sole ambassador here. Eek.
Anyway I shall be leaving for Australia in two months time...but then I have to come back. Cos you know, New Zealand is my home.

I lived in NZ for two years as a teen. That's why I still live in Australia. Still, my parents, a brother and a sister stayed there. So I guess it's just me..........No more love for New Zealand on here?

My wife and I were looking at a trip to the South Island where my sister lives. We wanted to hire a car. Since I'm over 70, there is a non refundable insurance payment that is patently age discrimination. And also renders the trip unaffordable. No more love for New Zealand on here?

Huh not heard of it, though I don't live near Long Bay. But I do know of this one https://www.stfrancisretreatcentre.org.nz/I live in Australia now. I lived in the Anglican Retreat Center at Long Bay, Auckland. The Society of St Francis ran the center there in the late 1990's and 2000's. I don't think the SSF have a presence in NZ anymore.
I left the Anglican's some years ago, however I attend a Bible Study group at the local Anglican Church, so I have some association.
Yes, that retreat center is Catholic. We used to have some co-operation with the Friars Minor and also the Capuchins.Huh not heard of it, though I don't live near Long Bay. But I do know of this one https://www.stfrancisretreatcentre.org.nz/
I was thinking of doing day retreat as a friend had told me about it but we ended up not. It's in Hillsborough.
Where about's in Australia do you live?
