I would say obviously not too good looking. Cause he does have to have a personality ya know. I’ve noticed I like men with fuller lips, tall, darker hair, and the obvious a relationship with God and a good personality. I don’t really care about body type as long as they are obese or really fat cause I ain’t into that. But yeah I wouldn’t say my standards arnt too high but idk 🤷‍♀️
I was only messing with you. Sorry. I hope you find a good guy.

With Deepest Sympathy

I am a woman 👩 haha.

My experience is do our best looking, ultimately is God writing ✍ a love story with us. You will meet single Christians on the way, building up friendship, pray together, enjoy the journey itself.

Currently I am looking, enjoying the journey.

God has His timing. We just follow Him.
My apologies Miss Churchgoer

So far haven't met any, its been a few years..and I've never prayed with any. Well maybe thats just once, but I won't say what he wanted prayer for.

Have you read the 'God writes your love story' book.

Nice if you live in the US and are about 15 or 16 years old. lol

Explain how tall he has to be, and why tall?

I mean clothes size come in XS, S, M and L and sometimes XL...but how high do you want?

No worries.
I am wondering how do you know my age?
I am actually in my early 50s:) 😃
No I haven't read that book.
It is my personal feeling that God is writing a love story with me. These 2 years. Then I look back my entire life, even more so, God direct all my footsteps.
New Zealand must be a beautiful place.

Oh you must read that book. You may laugh...or you might cry.

My love story so far is a romantic comedy.

Yes it's so beautiful that even the mountains and forests and rivers are protected. By law.
But I saw on CC that some people thought it was insane and ridiculous. It's not. If they were not protected, they'd be cut down and exploited and people would leave their rubbish on the mountain like they do with Mt Everest, which may look from a distance like it's beautiful but when you get up close its actually a rubbish tip.

I know....go to the cat cafe.
He's a keeper if he can tolerate cats. Or even better if he picks them up and cuddles them, without the cat scratching his face.
That is the ultimate test. I don't care if he drinks coffee or not.
Unfortunately this does not work.

I can pet a cat, pick him up and hold him, while the cat's human is saying, "wow he never lets anybody pick him up!" It's all in how you talk to a cat - not verbally, but how you communicate with your actions. You have to let the cat know what you are doing at all times, and make sure the cat knows he can get out of the situation whenever he wants. When the cat feels secure that he can exit anytime, he is much more likely to let you hold him.

And if the cat does decide to exit, you need to be aware of it and let the cat go. Ignoring the signs that the cat is feeling trapped is what gets you scratched.

Of course this only works with most cats. Some cats just do not want to be picked up. And I would never try to pick up a cat who is lying down in his own home. He is at ease in his own territory. Leave him alone.

But this does not work. It has not helped me at all with finding a girl.

Listennnn if you know you know! I live in a small town in WV, and the dating scene is either “oh I’m a Christian (they arnt their just posers)” or “oh I’m a christian(but am taken)” like whyyyyy. Like I just want a Godly man of God that isn’t far away, that will be the leader he is called to be in a relationship and be handsome is that so hard to ask for! Like bro…I mise we’ll be single and have a lot of cats at this point.💀
This....
This is why you need to go VISIT lots of various churches....lots and lots.
When I was young and in college I was well known at 3 different churches that had large College and Career classes.

Theres a REASON for that.

It used to be just the girls went to church and guys were scarce....
Now it's just the reverse....but somehow you are not finding the right churches.

Singles groups also do not meet at traditional times or locations. So ASK around...use Google.

It's called generic masculine. Look it up.

Basically it is a generally accepted convention where if you are referring to one of a group but it could be male or female, you refer to him as male instead of referring to it as it. It could be a boy cat or a girl cat. The procedure for picking up either gender is the same.

You would rather I refer to him as they? Or maybe it? "I can pet a cat, pick them up and hold it..."

I'm not into girls in catsuits, either spandex or anthropomorphic.

Without sounding like the Department Of Stating The Obvious 😂🤓...

And I hope this doesn't offend anyone...

I totally understand the desire to find a mate. A husband. Wife.

All I wanted to do when I was younger was find a wife. I started my journey looking for one on internet dating sites back in what must be the early 00's. Maybe as far back as 2001-ish.

My first girlfriend came from Fusion101. For a time I thought we would be married and have kids. We even agreed on names. At the time, I would have done absolutely anything for her. I would often say that I would walk to the ends of the earth if it meant being with her.

Sadly, I discovered she was struggling with mental health issues. These issues caused major problems and after refusing to get help, I ended things.

3 other relationships came from online. On two occasions we came close to getting married. Sadly, again, I discovered issues that needed to be addressed and the people I was dating refused to change. That's not to say they were bad people, however there were major issues that shouldn't be brought into a new marriage.

My point is this. Internet dating is not, in my opinion the best way to find a life partner. It takes time. Lots of time. Months even, to get to know someone.

How do they react when they are having a bad day, how do they treat friends and family, what do they believe (because you can talk the talk but do you walk the walk?) etc.

All of these things need to be observed before dating. Not finding out half way through when you're already invested.

Last year I made a promise to the Lord to put my trust in Him. I said I wouldn't search for a wife online any longer (after 25 years of trying). I committed myself to finding a good church and take time to get to know potential matches as friends first.

Good looks mean nothing. Trust me. I've been with some very attractive women and I can tell you this for free...when you're in a marriage and the storms come...good looks, full lips, dark eyes, big arms, breasts etc won't mean a thing.

Marriages aren't all rainbows and unicorns. I think some Christians need to get real. Marry your best friend. You're gonna need it.

Hello Kitty is not a girl in a catsuit!

Anyway I said 'them' referring to cats as this guy could pick up more than one. I wasn't really thinking of generic masculine or whatever. There are lots of cats at the cat cafe. And kittens. Usually a mother cat has more than one in a litter.

Wow 25 years
No I would never do online dating again. Once was enough.
Leave the rainbows and unicorns in BarbieLand with her Dreamhouse. I don't think she and Ken have the best relationship anyway, I'm not even sure if they're married.

I had a complete marriage of 20 years. Jesus picked up my hubby 5 years ago.

I can tell you that no matter who you marry to, you need to have a strong covenant mindset, with spouse, with Jesus.
Don't put marriage on a pedestal. Happiness comes from God, not from spouse. Give each other less pressure.

Many life long marriages are happy and peaceful because their commitment mindset.
