Prior to 1948 there were 5 Aliyahs, I define those as devout Jews returning because God was working in their hearts. However, in 1948 the proclamation came from the UN, similar to King Cyrus the great giving the command from Persia. According to the Bible Babylon would fill Samaria with a mixed multitude, I believe that if Satan can't stop the Jews from returning to Israel that his second approach is to flood them with a mixed multitude. That is what I believe happened from 1948 and on. Some were Jews, some were Edomites, some were pagans.
i hope I'm not misinterpreting what you're saying. Isaiah 61 is talking about believers who will receive double blessing, as Joseph did from Jacob, not unbelieving Babylon that will receive double trouble for her innumerable sins. Per Isaiah 61, heavenly Jerusalem has been filled with the riches of the gentiles for the past 2000 years, filling out spiritual Israel's fullness that Israel after the flesh was unable to do because of unbelief.
But if [fleshly Israel's] transgression is the [spiritual] wealth of the world, and [fleshly Israel's] failure is the [spiritual] wealth of nations, how much more is [spiritual Israel's] fullness? Romans 11:12
The fullness of Israel, or if I may, Greater Israel, is the seed of Israel becoming the fullness of the nations, as Jacob prophesied. The name Ephraim is synonymous with Israel, because Ephraim was the firstborn who inherited all of the promises.And [Jacob] would not, but said, I know my son, I know. This one [Manasseh] will be a people, and will be raised up high. But his younger brother [Ephraim] will be greater than he. And his seed will become a fullness of gentiles. Genesis 48:19
Does God give us a timeline for the second coming?
I was told that some minister said this: “Every date-setter in history has been wrong. Such predictions bring disrepute to the Gospel and cause unnecessary trauma when the date passes". He told me this because I had shown him the verses in Ezekiel that tell us the timeline for the second coming. His response was that this cannot be true because God doesn’t give timelines. So then, is that true? Does God give timelines or not?
1. John the Baptist was a date setter, he said that Jesus was the lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world indicating that he would be crucified on Passover.
2. Jesus was a date setter because He told the disciples that He would be crucified when He got to Jerusalem.
3. Daniel was a date setter because he gave us the year that Jesus would be crucified.
4. Jeremiah was a date setter because he told Israel how many years they would be in Babylon before God gave them permission to return.
5. Abraham was a date setter because he told us that God told him how many years his descendants would be in Egypt before they would be allowed to leave.
This "minister" taught you that, "Every date-setter in history has been wrong. Such predictions bring disrepute to the Gospel and cause unnecessary trauma when the date passes". He is wrong, because I just gave five examples in the Bible where they were not wrong, and five examples in the Bible that did not bring disrepute to the Gospel.
All of it deals with whether or not God gives us timelines in His prophecies which this minister said He doesn't. He then replied "Yes, God gave timelines for how long Israel would be in captivity before their exodus, how long before a man named Moses, a type of the Messiah, would come and deliver them", and yes God gave timelines for how long Israel would be scattered in Babylon before God would bring them back, and yes, God told us how long it would be before Jesus Christ the Messiah would come and be crucified, and yes, both Jesus and John the Baptist told us the day and the manner with which Jesus Christ, the Messiah would be crucified. But God does not give us a timeline for the Day of the Lord, the end of the age, despite the Day of the Lord and the second coming of Jesus being the single biggest prophetic topic in the Bible. 150 chapters in the Bible deal with the end times. The second coming of the Lord is mentioned more than 2,000 times in the Bible (counting both Old Testament and New Testament references). The New Testament mentions the Second Coming of Jesus Christ over 300 times (approximately once every 25 verses), and Jesus gives us specific commands to "watch," "be ready," or "wait" for His return (Matthew 24-25, Mark 13, Luke 12, 21). We are told specifically what the signs will be, what the generation will be, and yet your "minister" tells you not to watch. Don't pay attention to these signs. I got it, you have told me more than enough about "your minister" and how foolish you are to let him dissuade you from heeding the Lord's command to watch. You don't deny that all the references I gave you were timelines given by God in His word, you only deny that Ezekiel and Daniel and the books of Moses gave us a timeline for the second coming and your reasoning was "God doesn't give timelines" hence they can't be timelines. Wake up. The only one you are kidding is yourself.

The Lord did not say no one knows the year or the season, to add that is sloppy exegesis. Nor does He say “no one will ever know”. Just because the Lord did not tell the apostles prior to the crucifixion does not mean they were not told at a later date. Paul said he was told things he was not permitted to share with us.

This word did not say it was not for believers, it said It was not for “you” to know, referring to those who Jesus was speaking to. Yes, it might be possible to interpret this to mean all believers, if that were to align with the rest of the scripture. But no verse is of its own interpretation.

Yes, the New Testament does say it will be sudden destruction that will catch people by surprise, just as in Noah’s day and just as in the days of Lot. But the believers are not appointed to wrath, that is also in the Bible, and Noah was not caught by surprise, his family was not caught by surprise and Lot and his two daughters were not caught by surprise.
This interpretation of all believers being caught by surprise is ignoring many other relevant verses:
Revelation 3:3 Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.
Just because the disciples did not know 2,000 years ago doesn't mean Jesus can't tell His disciples a week beforehand what the hour will be.
Matthew 24:42 Watch therefore: for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come.
We don't know when the various prophecies will be fulfilled, but we have been given prophecies that when we see them fulfilled we know that the Lord's return is imminent. Joel gives us a prophecy of a worldwide pandemic and global shutdown that never happened previously in human history, a bug that is stitched together from five bugs like in a bioweapons lab, a bug that goes into the great houses so that even the President of the US will get sick, and Joel tells us this is the event that takes place "next door" to the day of the Lord. This verse obliterates anyone teaching not to watch. It proves this teaching is contrary to the Lord's teaching. Also, every single time the Lord said “no one knows the day or the hour” the conclusion was to “watch therefore”. Jesus gave three analogies: a night watchman doesn’t know the day or hour that a thief will strike, that is why he must watch. A pregnant woman does not know the day and hour a baby will be born, that is why she must watch. A farmer does not know the day and hour to reap the fields, that is why he must watch.
Amos 3:7 Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.
2,000 years ago the Lord revealed to the apostles the things He was doing then. He revealed the New Testament to them. Likewise prior to His return He will reveal the things He is about to do and that includes His return.
Matthew 24:37 But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
Noah and his family entered the ark seven days before the flood. This is because Methuselah died and there was a prophecy that when he dies the end shall come. No one knew the day or hour that Methuselah was going to die, but when he did die they knew what that meant. You have been deceived by anyone who teaches you to not watch.
But the worst thing about this doctrine is that it is contrary to the most basic principle of prophecy:
Isaiah 46:10 (NIV): I make known the end from the beginning, from ancient times, what is still to come. I say, 'My purpose will stand, and I will do all that I please'
The fact that Abraham knew how many years Israel would be in Egypt as slaves is proof that this was God’s doing. The fact that Jeremiah knew Israel would be in Babylon for seventy years was proof that this was God’s doing according to the law of Moses. The fact that Daniel told us the year the Messiah would be “cut off” is proof that Jesus Christ is the Messiah. Prophecy in the Bible leaves people without excuse.
But what about all the people who claimed to know the day the Lord would return and were wrong? That is also a fulfillment of prophecy, the Lord said many false prophets would come in His name. Think of how amazing it is that 2,000 years after Jesus we have false prophets coming in the name of Jesus, just as Jesus said they would. The proper response is not to bury your head in the sand, the proper response is to dig into the word of God for the truth.

The Years of Punishment Prophecy (part 1)
This prophecy clearly points to the Lord’s second return in 2030.

Jeremiah 3:6 Moreover, the Lord said to me in the days of Josiah the king [of Judah], “Have you seen what that faithless Israel has done—how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there she was a prostitute? 7 I thought, ‘After she has done all these things she will return to Me’; but she did not return, and her treacherous (faithless) sister Judah saw it. 8 And I saw [that even though Judah knew] that for all the acts of adultery (idolatry) of faithless Israel, I [the Lord] had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid; but she went and was a prostitute also [following after idols]. 9 Because of the thoughtlessness of Israel’s prostitution [her immorality mattered little to her], she desecrated the land and committed adultery with [idols of] stones and trees. 10 Yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with her whole heart, but rather in [blatant] deception [she merely pretended obedience to King Josiah’s reforms],” declares the Lord.
Israel was divorced and scattered among the Gentiles where they remain to this day. This is why Jesus said:
Matthew 15:24 He answered, “I was commissioned by God and sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
The House of Judah did return to Israel after having been in Babylon, Israel didn’t. However, Judah did not repent with her whole heart.
Ezekiel 37 tells us that both Judah and Israel will be restored and return to the Lord together as one nation.
15 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, 16 “And you, son of man, take a stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ 17 Then join them together into one stick, so that they may become one in your hand. 18 When your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what you mean by these?’ 19 say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am going to take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join the stick of Judah with it and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’ 20 The sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. 21 Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am going to take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king over all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and will no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
This takes place right after God raises them from their graves and brings them to Israel.
Ezekiel 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and make you come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you [back home] to the land of Israel. 13 Then you will know [with confidence] that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and made you come up out of your graves, My people. 14 I will put My Spirit in you and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and fulfilled it,” says the Lord.’”
This ushers in the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ.
24 “My servant David will be king over them, and they all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them. 25 They will live in the land where your fathers lived, [the land] that I gave to My servant Jacob, and they will live there, they and their children and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David will be their leader forever.
Most of the Jews are not walking in the ordinances and statutes and Jesus is not their leader. Before this can take place the punishment period needs to expire. They enter in on Jubilee year 120. So the question is if the year 2030 is the year the Bible says the punishment period will end and the year 2031 as the 120th jubilee year.
Ezekiel's 430 Days — summary of Chuck Missler's argument
In Ezekiel 4, the prophet is told to lie on his side for a total of 430 days — 390 for the house of Israel, 40 for the house of Judah — with each day representing one year of judgment.1 Missler notes that seventy of those 430 years are accounted for by the Babylonian Captivity, leaving 360 years that don't correspond to any clear period in Israel's history.1
Drawing on Leviticus 26's warning that unrepented sin brings punishment multiplied "seven times more," Missler proposes multiplying the unaccounted 360 years by seven, yielding 2,520 years — which he suggests approximates the span from the exile through the Diaspora.1 Converting this using a 360-day "prophetic year" (a convention he traces to Sir Robert Anderson's The Coming Prince, citing precedent in Genesis and Revelation),2 2,520 prophetic years equal 907,200 days, or roughly 2,483 years, 9 months, and 21 days on the modern solar calendar.2
Missler is careful to flag that the starting point for this count is genuinely ambiguous — he identifies two candidate historical anchors (the original exile versus the later destruction and "Desolations of Jerusalem," which also lasted 70 years under a separate reckoning) and does not resolve definitively between them.1 His own language throughout is hedged ("it has been suggested," "approximately") rather than asserted as settled doctrine.

No one book gives you the whole story. You have to understand the concept given in the Torah that if you don't repent the punishment is then seven times longer, but you get credit for time already served. If you understand that concept, then you can calculate the potential time period for the punishment of Israel and since the punishment for Judah and the ten tribes has two different starting points and they have two different lengths you can then determine the possible years in which they could return to Israel after repenting. However, the only year in which both together would return is 1948. Then Ezekiel has another prophecy that the two sticks will become one stick, meaning when they return they will all return together, hence it was pointing to 1948.
This interpretation is supported by Jeremiah saying Israel would go to Babylon for seventy years as a punishment and then Daniel reading this and realizing the year they would be allowed to return. That proves beyond any doubt that God operates in this way.
Not only so but the Lord saying "no one knows the day or the year" is a very strong indication that we could know the year.
Finally, what is the effect or impact of a teaching? Does it encourage you to dig into the word and watch for the Lord's coming, or does it tell you "don't worry about this, go back to sleep"? The flesh and the Spirit war against each other. The flesh wants you to sleep, the Holy Spirit wants you to "awake sleeper, and redeem the time because the days are evil". Every time Jesus said we did not know the day or hour He concluded with "watch, therefore". However, in Christianity when they teach "no one knows the day and hour" the conclusion is "therefore don't talk about this". Two different spirits.
This prophecy clearly points to the Lord’s second return in 2030.

Jeremiah 3:6 Moreover, the Lord said to me in the days of Josiah the king [of Judah], “Have you seen what that faithless Israel has done—how she went up on every high hill and under every green tree, and there she was a prostitute? 7 I thought, ‘After she has done all these things she will return to Me’; but she did not return, and her treacherous (faithless) sister Judah saw it. 8 And I saw [that even though Judah knew] that for all the acts of adultery (idolatry) of faithless Israel, I [the Lord] had sent her away and given her a certificate of divorce, yet her treacherous sister Judah was not afraid; but she went and was a prostitute also [following after idols]. 9 Because of the thoughtlessness of Israel’s prostitution [her immorality mattered little to her], she desecrated the land and committed adultery with [idols of] stones and trees. 10 Yet in spite of all this her treacherous sister Judah did not return to Me with her whole heart, but rather in [blatant] deception [she merely pretended obedience to King Josiah’s reforms],” declares the Lord.
Israel was divorced and scattered among the Gentiles where they remain to this day. This is why Jesus said:
Matthew 15:24 He answered, “I was commissioned by God and sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.”
The House of Judah did return to Israel after having been in Babylon, Israel didn’t. However, Judah did not repent with her whole heart.
Ezekiel 37 tells us that both Judah and Israel will be restored and return to the Lord together as one nation.
15 The word of the Lord came again to me, saying, 16 “And you, son of man, take a stick and write on it, ‘For Judah and for the children of Israel, his companions’; then take another stick and write on it, ‘For Joseph, the stick of Ephraim and all the house of Israel, his companions.’ 17 Then join them together into one stick, so that they may become one in your hand. 18 When your people say to you, ‘Will you not tell us what you mean by these?’ 19 say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am going to take the stick of Joseph, which is in the hand of Ephraim, and the tribes of Israel, his companions; and I will join the stick of Judah with it and make them one stick, and they will be one in My hand.”’ 20 The sticks on which you write shall be in your hand before their eyes. 21 Say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I am going to take the children of Israel from among the nations where they have gone, and I will gather them from every side and bring them into their own land; 22 and I will make them one nation in the land, on the mountains of Israel; and one king will be king over all of them; and they will no longer be two nations, and will no longer be divided into two kingdoms.
This takes place right after God raises them from their graves and brings them to Israel.
Ezekiel 37:12 Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God, “Behold, I will open your graves and make you come up out of your graves, My people; and I will bring you [back home] to the land of Israel. 13 Then you will know [with confidence] that I am the Lord, when I have opened your graves and made you come up out of your graves, My people. 14 I will put My Spirit in you and you will come to life, and I will place you in your own land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and fulfilled it,” says the Lord.’”
This ushers in the millennial kingdom of Jesus Christ.
24 “My servant David will be king over them, and they all will have one shepherd. They will also walk in My ordinances and keep My statutes and observe them. 25 They will live in the land where your fathers lived, [the land] that I gave to My servant Jacob, and they will live there, they and their children and their children’s children, forever; and My servant David will be their leader forever.
Most of the Jews are not walking in the ordinances and statutes and Jesus is not their leader. Before this can take place the punishment period needs to expire. They enter in on Jubilee year 120. So the question is if the year 2030 is the year the Bible says the punishment period will end and the year 2031 as the 120th jubilee year.

Missler is careful to flag that the starting point for this count is genuinely ambiguous — he identifies two candidate historical anchors (the original exile versus the later destruction and "Desolations of Jerusalem," which also lasted 70 years under a separate reckoning) and does not resolve definitively between them.1 His own language throughout is hedged ("it has been suggested," "approximately") rather than asserted as settled doctrine.

Purpose
The document concludes that its goal is not date-setting but calling readers to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ in light of what the author views as imminent judgment on America.
Why would it promise the land to Christ who owns the whole world? Why would it promise land to Christ with borders? smh It doesn't even make sense!! It has everything to do with Israel.
Because dominion over the earth was stolen from Adam when he obeyed satan, and that dominion had to be restored by a man because God gave man dominion over the earth. Only Christ was capable of doing that. So God started the process by promising to give the land of Israel to Abraham and to his seed Christ, who in his time would conquer satan and restore that lost dominion because he is a son of man.
When God promised Abraham that he would inherit the land he asked God for assurance that he would indeed inherit it. Inherit? Inherit from who?
And he said unto him, I am the LORD that brought thee out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this land to inherit it. And he said, Lord GOD, whereby shall I know that I shall inherit it? Genesis 15:7-8
God's response was a blood covenant in which God promised to give the land, not to Abraham, but to his seed.
In the same day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates: Genesis 15:18
If God had meant Abraham's many descendants he would have had absolutely no assurance that he would inherit the land because 1) ancestors don't inherit anything from their progeny, and 2) Abraham would die and his progeny would die, so he could receive nothing from them.
Therefore, God promised to give the land to Abraham's descendant Christ, from whom Abraham would receive his inheritance of the land as God promised in the resurrection. Abraham knew this and rejoiced.

It never was theirs. It has always been God's and they were his guests in the land as long as they behaved themselves according to his rules.
I am one of those people who say date setters have been and will always be wrong, because Jesus said no man knoweth the day nor the hour. The idea is: Be alert at all times, you do not know when He is going to return.
You rightly recognize that God has given timelines in the past and thats the thing, there is no timeline given for the second advent of our Lord. Funnily enough, most people believe there is a gap between the 69th and 70th week of Daniel, what does that do to the credibility of the divinely given timeline? This is why I believe the 70 weeks are already fulfilled, God is always "on time"
Right, except for the unconditional Abrahamic Covenant, a promise God made and will be fulfilled. It began in 1948.
Ah, you didn't read what I wrote in the Years of punishment prophecy. The point is that although Jesus said no one knows the day or the hour, we do know the signs to watch for and his conclusion is always the same, since you don't know the day or hour you have to watch for the signs. Then there are three examples: 1. a night watchman doesn't know the day or hour a thief will strike, so his job is to watch for signs that would indicate a thief is going to strike. 2. A farmer does not know the day or hour that he should harvest his crop hence he must watch. and 3. A pregnant woman doesn't know the day or hour she is going to give birth, hence she must watch for the signs.
You keep repeating that claim without offering any scriptural support. That's because none exists. So why do you keep doing it? Do you really think unending repetition of dogma is going to convince anyone?
It is because that is how they were taught *cough, cough*
This doctrine only works by the repetition of the same ole salient verses, once again pulled out of the full message of both Covenants, it cannot work within a holistic, contextual and textual analysis.
