The first part of that Ezekiel chapter is possibly referring to the Macabbean wars. Some amazing stuff happened then. But you would have to read the books of Macabbees to be able to undertand that. To you that period is just a big blank, which it was to me also until I learned I didn't know everything.

Praying for peace? That's not how the prayers go. They believe mystery Babylon, were the Lord was crucified, is special to God because it's called 'Israel'. In reality, it was the sole reason for the world wars. Is it prophetic? I think it has to exist so this generation can see it destroyed, one last time.

Romans 9
6 Not as though the word of God hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:
7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.

Galatians 4
22 For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman.
23 But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise.
24 Which things are an allegory: for these are the two covenants; the one from the mount Sinai, which gendereth to bondage, which is Agar.
25 For this Agar is mount Sinai in Arabia, and answereth to Jerusalem which now is, and is in bondage with her children.
26 But Jerusalem which is above is free, which is the mother of us all.
27 For it is written, Rejoice, thou barren that bearest not; break forth and cry, thou that travailest not: for the desolate hath many more children than she which hath an husband.
28 Now we, brethren, as Isaac was, are the children of promise.
29 But as then he that was born after the flesh persecuted him that was born after the Spirit, even so it is now.
30 Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.
31 So then, brethren, we are not children of the bondwoman, but of the free.

Certain people here don't believe that. In fact they become quite hostile when it's mentioned. Wait until they meet the Jewish Jesus and try to explain to Him why they didn't listen.

You believe Jerusalem is the kingdom of the beast? What about the surrounding islamic neighbors? I would much rather live in Israel than Saudi Arabia, thats the actual beast kingdom!

The city that is called mystery babylon will never be found again and it is a coastal city on the desert, that is NOT Jerusalem, which will be the capital during the millennium.
 
Matthew 8

Matthew 23
37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!
38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.
39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord.
 
This is why Christians shouldn't be on either side, none of them are for Jesus. Christians stay out of that war.

Christians should only be on Jesus side , God side.

Not to pick a golden calf, or a queen of heaven to worship.

Mystery Babylon was Kingdoms under the Papacy and is now the European Union, not Jerusalem. And in the future God sets up His own Kingdom the NEW Jerusalem, not the old one, not that little bit of land in the Mid-East

Jerusalem is the reason for world wars? 14 million jews. Alright. World war 1 started and Israel wasn't even a state. You are WAY OFF man. And yes, praying for peace that is what the Bible tells us to do regarding Jerusalem:

Psalm 122:6: "Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: 'May those who love you be secure'
